Primitive Wood Box/ Planter Crackle Country Farmhouse Decor
This auction is for this lovely. Hand painted, wooden box. This can either be set on a flat surface or it has arm on the back that hangs on a narrow rail. Attached to the front is a black metal star. I distressed and crackled this to give it a nice prim look. This box is just wonderful and looks great with any home decor! Measurements: 12 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 3 1/4" Thank you for your interest in my auction. Please note that all of my hand made Primitives are purposely made to have a worn look to them and imperfections. Do not submerge any of my hand painted item in water. Wipe with damp cloth only. All of my hand painted items are finished and sealed with a matte finish. ANTIQUE 3 Pc METAL CONE SHAPED KITCHEN STRAINER W/FOLDING HANDLE RARE
This offering is for a rare. 1800's(I believe) Antique Farmhouse Metal Cone-shaped 3 Piece Kitchen Strainer with a Fold-Down/Collapsible Handle. This consists of The stand. The strainer basket, and the wood pusher/pestle. It is in very good condition for its age, sturdy with no breaks, and the handle and wooden pestle still retain much of their original paint. It displays well as there is only minimal rusting, looks very nice and clean. It measures 8 3/4" high and 7 1/8" in diameter, not including the handle.Very nice Antique Strainer, that would make a fine addition to an existing Antique Kitchen Implement Collection or as a nice decorative for your primitive kitchen decor. Primitive Quilted 10 Hearts Cut from Old Cotton Quilt for Applique or Craft Projects I cut these from old hand-stitched quilt which I recently washed. Approximately 3" across by 4" tall; size might vary a tiny bit since these are hand cut, not die cut. I gave these hearts a curved bottom for a bit of fun. Pretty sure 100% cotton. This is a primitive country black wooden wall sconce. It measures approximately 16-18" tall. Around the candle cup is a burgundy and brown pip berry ring. It also has a grungy LED taper with a piece of brown lace with a wooden button in the center. Near the top of the sconce is a piece of tea dyed cheesecloth with a rusty folk star in the center. They have been grunged with my own mix of coffee, cinnamon/spice and vanilla, they have been baked to perfection for you. They are dusted with additional cinnamon, a grunged cheesecloth leaf, and Primitive Sunflowers hang tag added to the twig stem as well. They measure approx. 4" in diameter. The stems are natural twigs and range in length from Approx. 12-15" These can easily be cut to add to an arrangement or used on a wreath as well.Handstiched and handmade by me. PRIMITIVE ANTIQUE TIN PLATED COPPER TANKARD MUG PITCHER Hand Forged & Hammered
Up for auction is a very nice antique tin-plated copper tankard. Hand forged and hand soldered. This diminutive mug stands approximately 4.5 inches tall and is about 3.5 inches in diameter. It has lines etched into the plating for decoration that are still clearly visible. I am no expert by any means, so I can't even hazard a guess on where this comes from or even how old it is. 1700s? 1800s? If anyone knows for sure, please send me a message and enlighten me-I'm really curious) It's a unique little piece-the pictures really don't do it justice. The plating is in fairly good condition-quite shiny-but there are some places where the copper is starting to show through. The bottom of the handle looks like it's coming apart from the solder but is still firmly attached by the rivets at the top. I didn't test this out to ... moresee if it holds water. But the bottom of the tankard seems quite solid with no holes or other defects that I could see(probably best not to drink from this anyway; There are some mineral deposits and other signs of wear on the inside. Rare large Elgin 8 QT glass butter churn with original label. Good condition churn that cranks freely. These were sold in the Sears catalog in the 20's and 30's This one. Being so large was probably used by a dairy farmer selling his own butter. Cover has surface rust outside but clean inside. Antique slate school house chalkboard 2-sided wood frame old
Antique 2-sided school slate chalkboard. A small portion of the inside of the wood frame is broken off on one side of the frame. As can be seen in the pictures. There is some children's writing on the frame on one side. There is a piece of wire connected through a hole to hang it from. One side of the frame has been notched with string placed tightly in the notch to help hold the frame in place. The other corner is missing the string. I'm not sure how old this is, maybe about 100 years, but it looks pretty good for it's age, and still in nice working condition. Please message me with any question you may have. This is a special pc and I was told it is from the mid to late 1800's. It is so plain but so beautiful as Shaker furniture was made. There are some very old tags on the inside of the cabinet. There are six shelves on the inside and a very nice porcelain pull to open the cabinet. Photos don't do this fabulous pc of history any justice. Those of you who collect Shaker things.
