The first one is in good vintage condition with worn smaller ties in the back and some material pulling. The second one has different waist band, longer ties, and a flannel patch in the back to cover worn spots(see photos) There are some tears that are not covered by the patch. This detailed bowl looks like real wood and will surely fool almost anyone. The bowl is about 2.5" deep on the inside and the sides are about 1/4" thick which accounts for it's over 1lb. weight. It is perfect for any heavy bowl fillers you might use. It shows it's age with distressed features like a crack that is visible inside and outside of the bowl. Cut and wear marks in the bowl and around the rim, it is missing a small piece around the outside of the rim that looks as if it had been cut out where a knot was originally. The outside shows more cracks, wear marks and the natural texture and grain of the wood. It is beautifully finished in a black walnut color with traces of lighter shades of brown and reds on the bowl. HERE IS THE HISTORY THAT CAME WITH THE HORN: This was found in an out-house/pig shed behind a little cottage in the high street in a little medieval town called'Bruton' in Somerset(SW England)When the 200+ year old oak floorboards were lifted to install central heating pipes when it was converted in to a little house,last Autumn(2012) The horn was originally to block up a hole! It was wedged into a hole made by the family of squirrels long ago. At some stage it fell through or was pushed out of the hole and down onto the plaster ceiling below, out of sight and remained there in the dust for another century or more. The old builder that I bought it from often finds items, usually ... moretotally rotten or wormed/rusted away. MEASURES 15 INCHES LONG. 18th Century small cast Iron pot. Circa 1760-1770
Offered here for your consideration is an OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE of a small size early 18th century cast iron pot. This little Jem is marked on it's belly side with the foundry name(In raised letters) of CARRON where it was originally cast. The foundry of CARRON was located on the banks of the River CARRON near Falkirk. In Stirlingshire, Scotland. The Ironworks were formally established in 1759 and became operational with its first blast at the furnace on 26th of December 1760. In the year of 1764 the British Board of Ordnance granted the company a contract to supply armaments to the British armed forces. Interestingly enough, CARRON furnace also cast parts for James Watt's steam engine in 1765. Later in the year 1773 the Carron Company received a Royal charter and went onto develop the world famous Naval Cannon, the Carronade. The Carronade ... morenaval gun was a considerable success, and remained in production from1778 through to the 1850's! The company established such a reputation for quality that the Duke of Wellington remarked in a letter to Admiral Berkley in 1812 that he only wanted cannons manufactured by the Carron Company in his Army. Carron Company also made ammunition, including some invented by Henry Shrapnel Now to this little pot itself. Due to its construction and casting technique of pouring the molten liquid cast iron into the mold or"Flask" through a round gate hole located on its bottom, known as the casting sprue. This casting technique of manufacturing hollowware items of the period were common in most furnaces in Europe and also here at American furnaces until about the 1780's. After this period the form of casting iron in sand filled molds began and the opening or what is known as the elongated"Gate" began to take hold in most iron furnaces worldwide and would continued well into the late 19th century. Very rare. The Masonic square and compass Pewter Ice Cream Mold. A wonderful piece of Masonic memorabilia. It is in perfect shape. The outside has a great patina and normal dings due to use and the fact that Pewter is a soft metal. Just open fill with ice cream close and freeze. What a wonderful presentation. Hi. You are bidding on a vintage Indian Basket. Maybe Cherokee, Choctaw, Pueblo, Zuni, Aztec, don't know for sure. I dont know a lot about it, but have had a couple dealers look at it, and about what they thought. I am open to any info on this basket, so feel free to contact me. I can tell you where it came from, which is Arizona, and I was told it was about 60 plus years old. I can tell you that the detail of whoever made it is awesome. Look at the photos and judge for yourself. The time and detail that went into this basket can easily be seen. It has the original lid that came with it, which is rare that they stayed together for all these years. It has some damage if you call it that. The last row came unwound, and someone tied it back together. It would not take much to repair it to original. The basket is about 13 inches tall, with ... morethe lid it is about 15 inches tall. The seat tapers off from front to back(wider in front than back) Front = 14 in. across including the 1-1/2" diameter legs. The back is 10" across. Seat sits 7-1/2" off the floor in front. And 7-3/4 from floor at back. Chair as a whole is 11 inches deep. CONDITION: Chair has seen better days. Weathered from over the years. Faded paint. Overspray paint droplets on frontal pieces. Here is a bold black stoneware jug with a wide mouth. The diameter of the opening is 1 7/8" The 6 inch jug has a swirl inside bottom, is in well kept condition, and has no nicks, cracks or repairs. The wooden paddles or staves inside the churn and the iron and wooden hand crank are in good working condition. It does have the metal bandings on the outside. The paddles are removable. It is 15" tall and 12" long by 7" wide or deep. The condition is good with the exception of the separations at the laminations and a few very small splits in the wood. Gragg is best known for his“Patent” bentwood“Elastic” chairs. For which he received a Federal patent in 1808. He also made“bamboo, fancy and common Chairs and Settes– all made of the best materials in the most faithful manner” as set forth in his trade card and advertisements. Some of these windsor chairs were branded“S. GRAGG BOSTON” in large block letters. It is also branded"B. LANPHEAR" It appears this brand was put on by Gragg himself as it he style and form of the letters is identical. It was probably the original owner. We did not research Lanphear. Old George Washington Folk Art doll
Hi. In very clean and nice condition, 12" handmade cloth doll of George Washington. Cloth body, white yarn hair, embroidered face. Grey vest with tiny gold toned metal beads as buttons, coat is red& blue cotton, with tiny silver tone beads, trousers are white felt and also have the tiny bead buttons. they look like marcasites, not sure if they are or not) He does carry a blue plastic sword, and doesn't have his hat. I don't know that he is antique, but certainly is old. no off odors, no tears in clothing. body is firmly stuffed.

This is an unusual type of chicken feeder. Instead of a fence for the chicken's head there is a divided handle that rotates when the chicken's peck. It is galvanized and so is the handle. The legs are adjustable with a wing nut and a slot. It measures 4 feet long and can sit either on the ground or with it's legs.

This is a great slat fruit basket. It is 10" at the bottom and 15" at the top so the fruit at the bottom has less pressure from the fruit at the top. It is 20" tall in in very good shape. Featured in this listing is an awesome trio of chippy. White displays made out of plaster. I know these would host nice wide candles on a early evening gazebo dinner. I would mix them up- using one with a large candle, one hosting a wonderful moss inspired spring nest with eggs and/or a nest made of wire hosting spanish moss, soil and wonderful spring violets(I would pick up the nest to water as to not get the plaster wet) and maybe a glass cloche to fit over the top of one that is hosting a vintage post card or french book resting inside- the uses are endless and they are just perfect- a small amount of gilded gold paint on the plaster ribbon on each- not to mention the chipped appearance that was intentional when they were made. Simply Adorable Primitive Looking Country Child's Barn Red Hutch
Simply adorable child's size primitive looking hutch. A barn red hand rubbed Just made by a friend of mine stop by my store and browse the full size ones that are available.The thing I like about the hutch is that all of them the top and bottom are seperate for ease of putting in your car. This is a pick up item but am trying to find double walled boxes to ship them in safely. Measures the total height 44-3/4" x 26-3/4" wide x depth of 12-3/4" Just the bottom alone measures 20-3/4" ht. x width 26-3/4" x depth 12-3/4" Just the top measures 23-3/4" tall x 26-1/2 width x 6-3/4" depth. Open top area with one shelve that have a width of 5-3/4"The bottom door also opens and has storage space there. Great for child's play or if you collect dolls or a wonderful display piece. Primitive Looking Hnadmade Wooden Carrier

Primitive Looking Wooden Uncle Sam Statue 57" Tall
I had this wooden Uncle Sam at my log cabin antique shop but am in the process of moving to a location with more traffic. Pick up only in Perryopolis.Pa 15473. He is one of my favorites but can only keep so many items at my home. He stands 57" tall and the bottom base measures 12-1/2"x12-1/2"x9-1/2" He has a hole in the base for placing a flag pole. You will love him. He is wooden and has always had the hairline cracks since I purchased him. These cracks as common in wood do not make him unstable. Where I am pointing in the shoulder area as well as in the other shoulder area a hairline crack in the paint. His beard at bottom has a crack in paint accroos it. The back of his hat has two missing pieces out of it. He can not be played with just stand him and leave him and he will be just fine.
