Vintage Leavitt Dehorning Clipper #3 Pat. 1893
Up for bid is this vintage pair of Dehorning clippers made by the Leavitt co. I believe the patent date is Feb. 12/ 1893. It is hard to make out the second digit of the year though. These are in 100% original condition and operate as smooth as can be. They measure 37 1/2" long. Use them as a wall hanger or give your Bull a trim. Thanks for looking.

RARE WONDERFUL ANTIQUE WOODEN 18TH CENTURY EARLY COOKIE MOLD
This auction is for a most wonderful early cookie mold that I would say is of European origin. It looks to be at least 18th century. The mold has 4 wonderful designs: a soldier. Coach and horse, man with a harp and what appears to me to be something related to religious crusades. The mold is made from a thick block of wood which has worm holes and a knot. There is a small age crack, but it does not affect the designs. The mold measures 10 1/2 in. long x 4 1/2 wide in. x 1 1/4 in. thick. Payment is expected within 3 days via Paypal. This very early 20 th century c.1 91 0 A& B Co. Home Rendered Lard Tin comes from my own collection which I have accumulated for 30 years. This is the rare 50 lb. size and it has an awesome logo of a Pig along with bold graphics. Arbogast& Bastian Co. was founded in 1887. This tin has all of it's paint is intact but there are some scratches and dents and it measures 15" tall and 12" wide. The lid has some rust and spots of a brownish red paint(Photo# 8) and the bottom has rust and one tiny pinhole(Photo# 9) It has a wire handle with a wooden holding piece in the middle. I know it’s repainted but I remember when I bought this that I did so because it was so well done. The painting of fruit on the lid is exceptional as is the old mustard glazed painting. Nice thick sides as are the old ones. Stabilized crack in the bottom. With some old material on the bottom to keep it from scratching furniture which could easily be removed if you like. There are over 90 American font cards and 16 Amsterdam Continental type cards. Most all have two different sides, including the different font sizes. Also unique to this find is a stock letter from the Amsterdam Continental company. Type box is beautifully made, dovetail sides and in fairly great shape. Circa 1800-1820 with a cut"Clover Leaf" type top, and an extremely BOLD turned shaft with sweeping dovetailed Cabriole legs and Pad feet. All of this in Mahogany. THIS IS A VERY RARE STAND. A Nice Federal Period New York City stand from the first quarter of the 19th century. It exhibits the classical New York Clover Leaf top design. The shaft is deeply turned out of a single block of mahogany. The clover leaf shaped top has nice Cupid's bow cut corners and is fashioned out of A SINGLE PIECE OF MAHOGANY. The legs are still fashioned in the early Cabriole Style and are Dovetailed into the shaft. The Pad feet are fully intact. An EXTREMELY RARE FIRST PERIOD 18TH CENTURY QUEEN ANNE"MINIATURE" MIRROR WITH A HIGHLY SCROLLED AND SHAPED TOP AND BOTTOM CREST IN NICE OLD 19TH CENTURY BROWN PAINTED SURFACE WITH AN OLD AND POSSIBLY ORIGINAL SILVERED MIRROR PLATE. BUT IT LOOKS LIKE ABOUT 4" OF THE BOTTOM OF THE WICKER IS MISSING. THERE'S AN OLD SHIPPING TAG ON IT, BUT ANYTHING THAT WAS WRITTEN ON IT HAS FADED OUT. this is a stunning antique handmade 19th century black duck with green bill decoy made from wood. Iron, and cork. it is an east coast duck meant for salt water and is rare to have still survived this long. the head is carved from wood and has a great shape. Nice detailing, and inlaid glass eyes. has a cut green bill and is doweled to the cork body. Paint is missing but has a great early look. the body is made from cork. Its painted black with white sides, and pieced together with 2 large pieces. the bottom is flat and the top shaped. the pieces are beautifully held together by wooden dowels as well. the bottom of the decoy has a wooden fin with a hole in the front for pulling and a hook at the bottom for weight. the weight is hand formed and wrought steel chain links which are very large and heavy. a good balance for a lighter decoy. has ... moresome ware. Gorgeous Rustic Vintage Iron Standing Store Display 4 Hooks Maple Leaf Base
Gorgeous Rustic Vintage Iron Standing Store Display 4 Hooks Maple Leaf Base O.K. I still have some new farm auction stuff to list, as well as some South Dakota/Wyoming vacation stuff to list but also recently drove with a friend out to Eastern Ohio. Stopped at two barn sales along the way- both Amish homes, and did I get some fabulous finds. Some very old primitives and antiques, and I’m thrilled to post them for you this week. I’ll be listing just about every day this week, so be sure to keep checking! Here's another one of my South Dakota favorites this week. It's a 4 hook atand that has a gorgeous maple leaf shape for a base. I was told that it was used in a store as a display piece- although what it displayed. I do not know. You can see that it has 4 hooks- each measuring 7" from the center pole. Two of the hooks, the center ... moreones, are on the same level and they measure 14 1/2" hook end to hook end. Then, you have on below that comes out of the front of the pole, and one above it that comes out of the back of the pole- so you have full coverage on all sides. The piece measures 25 1/2" tall to the top of the center pole, and the leaf base measures 11 3/4" widest- love the veined detail in the leaf, and how some of the ends of the leaf curve up making it look very realistic. As does the natureal patina. It looks like it may have been black at one point in time and if so, it's fairly well worn, I only see it in peeks. What I see more of is pretty much a coating of light surface rust all over- it's surface only, it's old and dark, and it just goes soooooo well with the rustic feeling of this piece- I wouldn't change a thing! There's some thicker spots of rust on the underside that I'm showing in my photos(see 13& 14) but they are still surface only. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition. Wonderful Antique SAILOR NAUTICAL SHELLS ART Primative Vase
This is a wonderful SHELL ART POTTERY VASE. The pottery that the shells were glued to are an urn Redware Vase. It stands about 7 7/8" tall and the mouth measures about 3 7/8" across. I have described the condition above. Please keep in mind it does have it's various flaws. Damage, due to the nature of the item. The sanded areas almost seem Coralene like. It doesn't seem to be glass as it's more pebbly than glass. If it is sand it is quite uniform in size and shape. The bottom looks like there are the remains of 150 written. This little shelf is from the early 1900's-was probably in someone's old farmhouse-it measures 17 3/4" high X 10 1/2" wide X 4" deep. It was originally white. Then green, then blue, now mauve! You can see all the layers of color in places-mauve-think very thick pan-cake make up or a pale DUSTY rose color! ALL of the paint is CHIPPY& CRACKLED! Some places have big chips. It has a single nail-hole at the top for hanging, or it could be set on a flat surface; also, the back is blue& chippy& with some dents. There are 2 small holes on one side that someone made though I don't know why. Please look at my pictures carefully; the sun sort of made the crackling not as apparent in the pics so trust me. Great Tole Patriotic Civil War era Tin Bucket Pail Toleware
Really a stunning little pail with patriotic emblems. Painted by an amateur I assume because the cannon on back would be hard to identify if it were not for the stack of cannon balls. Also has a musket. Drum and a megaphone for barking orders. Its signed but hard to read,possible Millie L or a T or R. The e in millie looks like a c on top of a c. Great color and patina,could use a quick wipedown to get the dust off. Very minor surface rust inside. Awesome display piece. I pack very well and usually ship out quickly. On the bottom of the cup it reads Made In USA, by Gotham. The condition is very good. There might be some bits of gold missing here and there; hard to tell. All lettering is very easily read. Listed is a unique hand made primitive antique style doll size log cabin. The outside perimeter of the house and yard measure 17 x 13 x 13 inches. The center wood log cabin is placed on a larger board that has a wood rail fence and primitive tools in the front. The cabin is constructed of real wood logs with a cobblestone fireplace and split rail roof. There is a working front door that opens/closes and a window. This cabin was made in the 1960s as a general store display for a local store in the Upstate N.Y. area. The structure is sturdy and well made and has no damage. The item is clean and in ready to use condition and comes from a nonsmoking home. No unpleasant odors. Shipping will be via FedEx or USPS Parcel Post. No international due to the hefty weight.
