This Listing is for an Exceptional Colorful Antique 1ofAkind Persian Fragmentary Oriental Rug Carpet. Possible origins are Senneh or of Malayer Family/ Region. Amazing vegetable dyes used throughout the rug in colors of rust. Melon, walnut, ivory, off white, light blue, bottle green and more. Most unique three designs and colors. The design used clearly shows the nomadic weaver used her imagination to weave the rug vs. following a diagram. A think of design as you weave. The rug measures 43 1/2 to 44 1/2 inches in width by 69 inches overall length. Machine surged salvages on two sides. And hand secured on the ends. The rug has been soak washed by a textile conservator and shines brilliantly. It is clean enough to touch face with. Foundation is made of Mix of wool and cotton warps interchanges from cotton to wool and back to cotton on one ... moreside. This again clearly shows the primitiveness and randomness of material used probably based on availability to the weaver. Weft is probably all wool. Wool Pile. Very Fine tight weave. This vintage H.P Hood& Sons Dairy Farm milk/cream can is in great condition. The can was manufactured by Henry E. Wright Co. in Charlestown. Mass. near Boston. They were a large manufacturer of dairy and farming items. There is a worn but legible manufactures stamp on the can. A" Fill To Line" brass tag on the neck and a" H.P. Hood& Sons 1937 Registered" brass tag near the top of the can. The handle has" Hood" embossed on it. The can is stamped with' H.P. Hood& Sons" also a large" 8 Liq. Quarts stamp. Just under the 8 Liquid Quart stamp is another manufacturers stamp" H.E.W. Co. It looks as though the registered 1937 is a registered number used for that year. Any other cans I have seen have various dates. Antique Civil War Era Tin Type Photo IN ORIG. RED VELVET LINED, LEATHER FRAME
Here we have a ANTIQUE ~ CIVIL WAR ERA ~ Tin Type photo of a woman in black attire from the 1860's. The frame is the original in which the picture has sat for over 150 years. It is made of leather that is a dark brown in color. It also boasts it ORIGINAL hand cut glass that covers the tin type. The gold insert inside that borders the photo tested positive as being gold. Though I am not sure of the karat/purity. Possibly 9k. The white mark on the glass that you are seeing in the photo's has since been removed and was where a sticker was placed. One piece(small strip) of the outside leather frame(the spine) is missing. A small strip on the bottom is present, that is folded over and can be easily glued back. Early Primitive Antique 19th Century Blacksmith Forged Iron Draw Knife Barn Dug Oh. This is soooo one of my favorites this week. It's a very old barn find- barn dug, I should say, turned your primitive wall hanging decor(as it's too old to use) Dating back to the 19th century, what I have is a blacksmith made iron draw knife. Can't you just picture it being used to build a log home? It measures 16 1/8" wide in total, the blade part alone is 8 1/8" wide and 1 1/16" tall, and it is 3 3/4" tall from the top of the handles to the bottom of the handles. It weighs a smidge under 1 lb. As you can see, this one shows its age, and the conditions that it was living in. It is covered with rust that is very very old and dark. There's loooots of pitting on the iron- especially on the thinner handle ends, and you see ... morelots of nicks/chips to the blade on the end(actually, all the edges of the piece) with a crack right in the center of the blade that is 3/8" long- see photo 8, and another 1/4" crack seen on one side only where the blade meets the handle- see photo 10. Alllll that being said, I wouldn't change a thing- it is in as found condition and just oooozes character. Don'tcha love it too? Please ask if you have any questions. Folk Art Painted and Button Decorated Wooden Bowl
Folk Art bowl measures 11 inches X 2 inches. As seen there is some wear on the paint-review photos carefully. The remainder of the paint is secure but needs to be treated carefully as the edges could flake. The round"buttons" are secured by a copper colored metal pin. Not all of the buttons are round but this seems to be the way they have been created.

Over the next two weeks I am listing a HUGE selection of BEAUTIFUL RARE Antiques& Collectibles which all came from a Southeastern New Jersey Estate. This is a fantastic RARE estate find. A beautiful authentic antique primitive set of Pantry Boxes for Dry grain measure. All three made in Wilton. New Hampshire. The largest measuring approx. 9" by 5-1/4" Marked by E.B. Frye Manufacturer& Sealer. Then the middle sized one measuring approx. 7-1/4" by 4-1/4" marked by Daniel Cragin Manufacturer& Sealer& the smallest one measuring approx. 6" by 3-1/2" marked by Daniel Cragin Manufacturer& Sealer. Daniel Cragin started the business in 1858 in 1878 he started making these measures. In 1909 he sold the mill to E.B. Frye and his son. Which is when they switched the name to theirs. Each piece is Shaker ... morestyle solid oak. Which was bent amazingly into a full circle with a precise size for measuring accurately. Then with a portion of the wood edge overlapped it was tacked in place with a line of nails. Then a circular insert added in the bottom. They are amazing pieces of Art in my opinion. Beautiful authentic primitives with an original satin patina finish. See condition below. Being sold without reserve& a $9.99 start. Have fun bidding. Condition: They are in amazing condition for there age. The smallest has a small tight crack by one of the nails in the overlapping edge as well as a tiny split to the top edge corner at the outside edge where the top nail is. And a very tight split in the bottom piece. The other two have very small splits near the nail heads to the edge of the wood. Al are structurally sound and solid. This scale was bought at an Estate Sale. I do not know the age. But I believe it goes back to at least the 1950's. It needs refinishing but I am not able to do that. They weigh up to 40 pounds. Primitive Bamboo Turned Windsor High Chair, 18th/19th C Antique, Orig. Dry Paint
This is a late 18th or early 19th C. bamboo turned windsor high chair in a country or primitive style. The remaining green/blue paint is original and it is almost iridescent. Especially at the turnings. The patina on the arms, seat, and footrest is also very old and about as good as it gets. The chair is 36.5"H, 15.75"W, ~16.5"D, with a ~24" seat height. The chair is quite strong with no significant joinery movement. The top rail was reattached as some point long ago and an old nail can be seen in one of the pictures. It sits almost perfectly flat on the floor. We merely vacuumed this chair with a brush attachment to remove cobwebs and other barn dirt. I believe this chair would add a great deal of visual interest to many rooms, particularly in the kitchen. Please do not hesitate to contact me for questions.
