Vintage Primitive Wooden Tool Barrel Bung Top Cider Spigot
Every Farmer in the early 30's or late 20's had a Cider Barrel in the Basement of their home. To treat their male company to a glass of Hard Cider! This Cider Bung belonged to my Father(1898-1978) It does have a narrow crack down most of one side, approx. 6 1/2" of its 8" Long size. It displays well, not many around to be found anymore! A Piece of History left from The Good Old Day's!

Antique 1900 ASBESTOS MINI SAD IRON with wood Handle. This cute little iron is marked: PAT. MAY 22ND. 1900" Has a black wooden handle and another wooden handle on the release strap. Iron is cast iron with a nickel finish Has its original trivet. The top housing or cover fits into the trivet exactly! It measures 5" long by 2-1/4" wide by 4" tall. And weight Apr. 3 lbs.without shipping box Has very little rust. And very little nickel missing. Does have a few scratches on the wooden handle. Pictures show flaws. 7" Wrought Large Antique 17th 18th C Primitive Iron Skeleton Lock Key
7" Long 1 nice ORIGINAL ANTIQUE example of a hand forged key dating from the mid to late 18th century. Circa 1740-1780. This piece has been expertly formed by a period smith with some nice variation and detail making it slightly unique. Large format keys such as this were commonly paired with large door and gate locks. Many associate them with the large box locks used on heavy scale jailer locks of the period. As mentioned there is some slight variation and some slight rust from age. But overall very solid. This over sized example makes a great example for any display or collection. VINTAGE Textile Mill Bobbin Early Old Americana Quilt Primitive Heart Gathering
LAND OF THE FREE This version of my Angels' Keep ORIGINAL design features a Patriotic heart which I created from a bit of late 1800's red. White and blue quilt with a rusty jingle bell sewn to the center. I've aged the heart to grubby primfection and securely fashioned it to the front of an old textile mill bobbin with bold RED thread. Tucked in behind the heart is a whimsical gathering of primitive pine greens, navy blue pip berries and ivory pip berries. Very Nice Vintage Homer Laughlin Stoneware Bed Pan
Item 3152. Very nice vintage white Stoneware Homer Laughlin bed pan. The piece is in good condition. There are no chips. There two very small. Short hairline cracks running from the large opening. The longest runs for about 1" The other is maybe 1/2" long. Neither are very bad. On the top of the piece you can see a couple of areas where the glaze looks to have popped out. They are probably manufacturing flaws. You can see these areas in the attached photo. On the bottom is the Homer Laughlin Stamp. The piece measures 15 1/2" x 11" and stands approximately 5" tall. SWEET EARLY ANTIQUE AMISH CRIB QUILT Description This is a sweet early antique Amish baby quilt that is 30 x 40 and the perfect size for a crib or antique cradle. I used it for a table topper but check out the pics below and you will see how sweet it is for yourself and it's MUCH better in person than my pics show! This is OLD! It has some wear on the front and I'm sure the back has been replaced with plain black fabric because the front stitches in the quilting pattern don't go all the way to the back but there are some other black threaded stitches that do. It's all handsewn and has the sweetest little heart in a corner as you see in the pics with the name"GRAEBER" wrote on it by the heart in old brown faded ink. Not sure if that is the baby's name that this was made for or the family name but I live way out ... morein the country where the Amish are my neighbors and that last name is on many mailboxes on my road. This is worn and is OLD for sure and even with the back replaced on it in plain and simple black cotton fabric I don't feel it hurts the value of this gorgeous early plain& simple treasure. There is no batting inside which is typical of a summer quilt since on hot days they have no electricity for air so they are frugal and don't use items they don't need as you know so adding batting inside might be considered a luxury and they don't splurge for those often even today so back when this sweet little thing was made I'm sure cotton batting was only used as a necessity and they also had alot of wool blankets for winter bedding so I assume this has always been a summer quilt. I found it in Lancaster County. PA one day at a sale where I bought lots of great antique Amish earlies and this one is no exception. Not perfect and not even close but PRIM perfect for us prim collectors and it looks SO sweet in an antique cradle or on a table top for a cover. Primitive Antique Woven Tea Caddy Basket 19th Century Chinese Import WOW- went to my favorite flea market this weekend and found some awesome treasures for you- I’ll be listing all week. So keep checking! Here is a very old basket that is amazing condition considering it dates back to the 19th century. I have seen others like this one. But they ususally have had their insides pulled out due to deterioration and this one, rather than doing that, the former owner replaced the material of the inside to keep the shape intact. The ones that I have seen that are intact had a very worn velvet or mohair type of material, and the replacement, as you can see, are three different cotton prints that are stitched together by hand. I do not think that this was a recent change, though, as the white material does show some age and carmel coloring. As you ... morecan see from the shape inside- it once held a teapot and cup. Now, the dealer had a note on the inside stating that the basket was made in 1850. I'm not completely sure about that because the others that I have seen were Chinese exports that dated anywhere from the late 1800s, to the early 1900s- so you know. I will send it with the dealers note. It is a beautiful woven basket that has brass handles and a brass clasp on the front. The basket measures 9 3/4" by 7 1/2" and stands 6 3/4" tall. It weighs 1 1/2 lbs so is pretty hefty for a basket, but then again, you have to consider the inside and the fact that it was made to carry a ceramic teapot and cup. The basket is in excellent condition. Love the age darkened patina both on the basket and the brass- the white spots on the brass in my photos are actually remnants of the dealer price tag- I have taken them off and the patina is dark under them too. The handles and the clasp work as they should- I just can't say enough about this one- it is fabulous! Customer satisfaction is extremely important to me.
