The larger box measures 10-1/2" x 7" with a 4-1/8" height and is in good condition without chips. Cracks or excessive markings to the wood. It features a cottage and garden print to the top lid. The underside is slightly-warped, but is not excessive and the box can be used without issue. The smaller box measures 8-1/2" x 4-3/4" with a 3-1/4" height. This is a really nice old vintage wooden jewelry box that has a billiards or pool table theme. The top of the box has a small pool cue and 4 small billiard balls attached to the top of the box. Which is made to look like the top of a pool table. When the lid is opened it reveals jewelry box or storage compartments including a ring tray. The inside of the case is covered with an attractive red material. The box sits on 2 legs that can either be folded in or folded out, in order to make the box sit lower or higher. The case measures 11 7/8 inches across, 7 1/8 inches from front to back, and 3 1/8 inches high with the legs folded in. NICE SET OF ONE ROUND TRAY WITH TWO SQUARE COASTERS WITH COWBOY DECALS Each piece has a 1940-50 era decal of a cowboy on a bucking or rearing horse in the center and each is lined on the edge with a real piece of rope. The rope on the larger round tray is lashed on with leather. Which is worn and/or gone in certain places(see upper rt in photo) and is lightly worn from use on some of the wood grain surface(this can be filled in with a little polish) The two square pieces(coasters? are both in very good condition. The tray is 10 1/2" in diameter. And the coasters are 4 1/4" square. They are made of wood, but also have a decorative wood-grained surface painted on both the front and back(see photos for wear on tray) They were made by Ben Graves Industries for Leipzig& Leippe- which is stamped on the back of the smaller pieces. ... moreEach piece has a leather hanger on the back. Outstanding Pair of Furniture Fragments Carved Wooden Pegasus Horse Sculptures
I love it when something salvaged can live a new life as something else. These sculptures were adornments to the arms of a sofa. They make excellent bookends but why let your creativity stop there? The carving is extraordinarily animated exposing the nobility of these creatures. Alert ears(small chips here) arched neck and even the veins in the face are superb. Each piece is 16" x 10" x 2.5" Due to the heavy weight. These should not be combined shipped with other items won. Many items I am selling came from a furniture and designcompany that went out of business in 1997. Some pieces were removed fromfurniture that was in disrepair other pieces were left over stock fromarchitectural design projects. This necklace is composed of lapis"chips" It measures 37" so that means it hangs down the front about 12" when wearing it. If you look closely you can see the gold flecks of pyrite throughout some of the unpolished stones. YAK BONE NECKLACE Another piece from my 1970's African Collection that was purchased in CA. Measures: 28" total. Hangs down about 9" from neck when wearing. Bones sliced and dyed as seen in scan and photos. I do not know what the other pieces are in this necklace and whether they are all Yak bone or not.the bigger ones at the bottom are obvious. And the larger circle pieces also seem to be the same bone material. ... moreFISH AND SEAHORSE NECKLACE Handcrafted necklace. Beads, fish and seahorses- appears to be fired clay. Colors in photographs are very true to color. Neck strand of beads measures approx. 16” total. so depending on your neck size you’d have to calculate how far down it would hang. The one big fish measures 2-1/2” two small fish are 2” each and the two seahorses measure 2-1/2” The seahorse on the left looking straight at the necklace had his head broken. And repaired. The repair is barely visible from the front, better seen on the back side. These are fairly fragile pieces so I wouldn’t suggest any wild activities while wearing it! FAKE PEARL STRAND Measures approx. 18" total. WODDEN BLACK BEADS AND METAL Measures approx. 14" total. GRAY STONE AND SILVER BEADS( beads may be plastic. Paul Masson Unique Heart Shaped Bottle With Wooden Stopper
Up for bid is a Paul Masson heart shaped bottle with a woonen stopper. This is a beautiful bottle for display in the shape of a heart. It comes with a cork stopper with a round wooden top. It is made of amber colored glass and is from the 1950's. It does have some wear and small scratches from years of handling. And a small worn spot on the wooden stopper. Please see pictures. This bottle is clean and overall it is in very good condition for it's age. Empty now, but I believe at one time it held Paul Masson Rare Cream Sherry. I did not try to remove the stopper.
