This is an antique wood burning stove/ oven made by Red Mountain in Birmingham Alabama. It is being sold as a decorative piece and in as is condition. It does have rust and it appears there is a drawer under the oven but unfortunately I can't get it open. I'm hoping nobody stored any valuables in there but I'm not breaking it to find out. Double Conservo oven for wood or camp stove. This one is in the best condition that I have seen on here. Outside measurements are 20 3/4" x 12" x 12" There are 2 racks on the inside. Both pieces are present for steam pipe, there is some rust on inside piece of pipe(pic 5) Copper pan is in very good condition. There is one hinge that has been soldiered& it was done well. Bail handles are in very good condition. There is some rust to the out& inside, could be taken off& oiled. I'm finding no dents or breaks in the seams. This was manufactured by the Swartzbaugh co, in the USA& is model#29. High speed wire sanded. Paper sanded, and high heat primer and paint. The black paint is flat. The silver is semi gloss. Both paints rated to about 1200 degrees farenheit. For Sale is I guess a stove grate shaker and/or lifter handle. Used for coal or wood stove. The handle looks to be a shaker and/or lifter handle and in good condition. Seems to be a pretty good size handle compared to many of them. The handle on the front side says"GARLAND" and the backside has the word"ART" The handle looks to have been chrome plated or something similar when it was made. Also it seems as if over time a little of the plating has came off in a few areas and a little of rust has came through and it also looks as if someone in the past has put a clear coat over the entire handle to preserve it.
