Rare Antique Cast Iron Wood Burning Stove and Heater
You are bidding on an Antique Cast Iron Stove. This is truly a great piece and beautiful to look at. As you can see in the pics. I have burned some wood inside this to make sure it works as good as it did in its prime. I am selling this as an antique, and I have not made any modifications to it since I have had it. I do notice that on the"wings" that there have been screws replaced and on the silver faceplate, but does not affect the look of it. As you can see, the top does remove and the bottom does unscrew, however, time has taken a toll on some of the pieces. The center piece that looks like a spring door needs to be re-welded or brazed to the frame again. The base has also suffered a stress crack and a few fracture lines which will also need to be mended. Overall though, this stands roughly 4+ feet and is beautiful. Winter isn't over! Up for auction is an EcoFan Airplus. Used to circulate the heat from your wood or gas stove without electricity. This fan is a large 3 blade model. I tried it on my pellet stove but there is not enough heat at the top of my stove to make it work correctly. I tested the fan by heating a cast iron pan on the kitchen stove and placing the fan in the pan. It works and moved a lot of air! After I removed it from the pan it still ran for several minutes. Regency medium pedistal wood stove
This auction is for a used Regency medium size pedistal wood stove. It has a removable ash drawer with carring cover. I bought the stove new in September of 2000 for $1.400.00 and the stove was only used for 5 seasons and was taken out to be used in my garage but never installed. It heated our 1250 square foot house to the mid 70's and is supposed to heat up to 1500 square feet using the best seasoned wood. I'm just trying to clear out some clutter from my garage. Another option for the winning bidder if you would like instead of local pick up is that the buyer can arrange to use USHIP for delivery, this shipping method is a lot cheaper than most services. Vermont Castings Resolute Acclaim Wood stove Blue enamel
This Auction s for a nice used Blue enamel Vermont Castings Resolute Acclaim Wood Stove. The Stove is in good working condition and burns just fine. It was in use up until Nov'2013. It has a date of 1987 on the back panel. I bought it new in'89 for my camp and it has only seem 1-2 months a year use since. I had it resealed by the local stove shop in 2004. The Grates. Removable Ash pan and posts are all in great shape. The interior sides and back plate are in good shape there are a few small cracks in the inside side panels but they are still solid and do not leak. The gaskets all seal well. The Firebrick are good and the firebrick combustion unit in the back has had some break down but still works fine. This stove can be filled and burn great for 4 to 6 hours and after 8 hours there are enough coals to start a new fire. It is about ... more70% Efficient and put out 35,000 to 40,000 BTUs. It is perfect for a small cabin or large room or an addition It can heat 1000-1200 sq ft well. The Door Lifts of easily and It comes with the optional Screen and shaker tool. The only issue it has is that some of the enamel on the chimney collar and top piece is beginning to chip away. See Photos. The Door, Sides and legs are in great shape and have no chips at all. This stove has served me well and will work for many years to come. This stove weights close to 400 LBS! I am offering this stove for Local Pickup only. Up for sale is a great antique wood cooking stove. I believe it is a Household Ideal Home model stove. It has 8-172 cast into the top plate. I don’t know if it a model number or not. This is a 6 burner stove with a nice big side cook oven. It also has 2 great upper shelves to put stuff on. The side of the stove is marked-THE WHITE-WARNER CO.MAKERS—TAUNTON MASS. For condition, it is just in GREAT shape! You will have a hard time to find a stove at this level at this at this price! The nickel was restored about 30 years ago and has no rust at all! Any shadows in the pictures are due to the lighting I used. the nickel has just the right amount of wear to look just right for an old stove. The finish is the original black cast iron with no rust, just the right amount of age and heat oxidation on top near the burners. The thermostat on the door ... moreis good with no cracks. And it comes with the original handles for the burners. I do not see any cracks or anything at all wrong with the stove. It has actually been used for heating and cooking in the basement many years ago. Rainer or Pendleton free standing stove or fireplace insert. fits most Rainer stoves, but does not fit the very old Pendleton model with smaller door. The blower measures 21" wide and slides under your ash lip. So the ash lip must measure slightly bigger than 21" wide. Some of the older Pendleton's ash lip was 20" and will not work on that model. If your stove has the air control in the middle under the ash lip, this blower has a hole for the control to go through. you will need an extension for the air control. Just tell me you need that after purchase and I will send one with blower. I installed a new ON/ OFF variable speed control as the old one was bad. This blower works very good, BUT a little noisy above medium speed. on medium to low speed is quiet. ANTIQUE COAL WOOD POTBELLY STOVE FINIAL TOP SWINGING METAL 12" TALL
This auction is for an antique swinging finial top for a coal. Wood or potbelly stove. The entire piece is just a hair under 12" tall(from the bottom of the base to the very top of the finial) The finial is just under 9-1/2" tall and the base is 2-1/2" tall. It measures approx. 11-1/2" diameter across at the widest part(one side is made flat rather than round) There is a number on the bottom of the base which looks like X-981 or 186-X as we don't know which would be right side up. Ask ALL questions prior to bidding, of course, but we think the base is made of steel(maybe cast iron, but doesn't really seem heavy enough to be cast iron) and we think the finial top is tin. The base is unpainted metal and naturally shows some rust and the finial is painted silver. Bring a friend or two because this weighs over 225 lbs. with the two shelves. This stove heated our split entry home for years(purchased from Nickos Chimney in Latrobe. PA) but has not been used since we moved to a larger home. We are finishing our basement with a contemporary theme so this traditional looking stove doesn't fit in with the style. It is the color"biscuit" which is a light tan. Parts and touch up paint are easily available online. Some small areas could use touch up paint, but this was taken ... morefrom a working environment so everything should work just fine for you. I have used touch up paint on spots myself in the past. The largest blemish is the area below the door on the right at the place where the small shelf meets the stove. It is hardly noticeable when the doors are closed. See the close-up pictures for details on this area. As I mentioned, it does need a bit of cleaning due to sitting around in the basement for 20 years but it is in over-all great shape. This is a high efficiency(85% burner. And the catalytic converter does such a good job that the ashes are pretty much like dust. This is a great item that retails for over $450 I just bought a brand new one here's my story: So two years ago I bought a coal stove and this power vent set up was installed with it so this past month it stopped working at the worst possible time in-25 windchill weather so I looked locally for a new motor which I failed miserably so I took the motor down and realized it was locked up so I called a small engine repair shop in town& they said they could rebuild it for $89 so I had no choice I paid it and within an hour I had heat again So after getting it fixed& installing it two weeks ago a couple days ago it was making a bad racking sound but was still working so I called the company and they told me they put used bearings in it because that was all they had and it was an emergency so I looked around again for either a new motor ... moreor a new complete unit and only found the complete unit. Because I was afraid to be stuck in the cold again, I purchased it, installed it and my coal stove is back to heating the house again So my opinion on this item is that it still works it just rattles and gets loud. If your great at repairing motors or replacing bearings then this is a great deal for you because these are really expensive I found one on here for $300 so this is a great deal if you want to use it till it breaks again or just fix it when you get it you can also see in the pictures that this item is dusty and also needs the 3 prong plug but like I said it was just fixed two weeks ago and still works but I would replace the bearing with a new one if I purchased this trying to save some money I will ship it as soon as I receive cleared payment Thank you for looking& good luck bidding! ANTIQUE DOE-WAH-JACK AMERICAN INDIAN FIGURAL METAL FINIAL ROUND OAK WOOD STOVE
Original and hard to find Chief Doe-Wah-Jack metal figurine that used to stand on top of a Round Oak wood stove. Manufactured in Dowagiac, Michigan in the early 1900's. This Indian Chief statue is hollow-cast in a bronze finished metal with excellent detail. He has two feathers on his head; I believe there used to be a third one, but it's missing. The statue stands 11.25" tall on a 2.5" diameter round base embossed"DOE-WAH-JACK" There are two holes on each side of the base, two on either side of his head, and one in his fist that were used to hold a metal garland of leaves that surrounded the figurine, but it is also long gone. The Indian is in very good condition with no noticeable cracks or damage other than the missing third feather. US Stove Co., Clayton 1800 wood/coal heater
This US Stove Company Clayton 1800 is a workhorse. We heated a 4500 square foot metal building with 22 foot ceilings and it kept it between 55- 75 depending how hot you wanted it. The unit has thermostat capabilities which will cycle the forced draft blower on and off when heat is needed. Additionally you can tie this unit into a forced hot air system. The air outlet on the top is 18 X 18 inches, we just ran it direct into the room. It has a 1200 or 1400 CFM blower on the rear, not sure) which moves a lot of air. It can take a 35" log and quite a few of them as this has a big firebox. The BTU rating is up to 218000, you can run much lower, just keep a low fire. The firebox has coal grates which will hold up to 180 pounds of coal. The grates, grate holders, shaker arm, and firebrick were replaced in Nov. 13 as well as door gaskets and ... morea new fan limit switch. The fan limit switch is adjustable so you can set the on/off cycle of the blower. You can use the natural draft or the forced draft air inlet. I have both you can see the difference in the front view pictures. The unit has capabilities for a domestic hot water coil, see rear view picture) I have a spare fan center electrical unit, a 154.00 part as well as a used capacitor. In March 13 I put a new fan housing on which came with a capacitor. This unit has a 8" flue outlet on top, it cannot be rear vented. The dimensions are 26.5" wide, 52" tall, 62" long and weighs 750 pounds. I have a forklift and can load your vehicle. I live about 1 hour north of NYC and 20 min. from Danbury CT. As stated in the listing, the unit has a dent on the front left side, this does not affect it's operation, it's purely cosmetic. New this is a 4500.00 + stove from US Stove.
