Stamps were always housed in a in a book away from sunlight. There is an inventory number in the picture and it is stuck to the plastic cover or side not on the actual stamp. My scanner does a pitiful job on the pictures because there are some scratches on the scanner. Which show up as little white marks. I try to keep the scanner clean but occasional specks get by me. I apologize. SE I buy from estates and try to pick carefully but all of my items are in gently used condition and may show signs of wear. She was a luxury ocean liner launched in 1931; one of four ships in the Matson Lines“White Fleet” which included SS Monterey. SS Malolo and SS Lurline. In World War II she served the United States as a fast troop carrier. Bringing supplies and support forces to distant shores as well as rescuing persons stranded in foreign countries by the outbreak of war. The pattern features a beautiful ribbon wreath surrounded by vines, scrolls and flowers. The bowl has a wonderfully shaped foot and subtle scalloped rim. The broad shallow design, perfect for serving, as a centerpiece or as a float bowl. The Prelude pattern was introduced in 1940 and was discontinued in 1986.
