The vintage carbon steel Eagle stamped head is in excellent condition with no defects and has been cleaned. Treated, custom shaped by myself to my own design and all polished to show off the patina. Then the bit is polished and given a wicked edge sharper than a Fox dipped in Lemon. The ergonomically designed handle is custom made from Seasoned stock Ash with a straight end grain. Naturally coloured, treated with Teak Oil and Beeswax for a superior grip and shine then fixed with a wooden and Steel wedge. It won't slip out of your hand! This was a mason hammer. Not anymore. Now a zombie killer. Or whatever. You can kill all the whatevers you need to with this pick hammer weapon. The handle is an old sledge hammer handle. This handle was used for years. In the granite quarries with a 10 pound hammer head on it. Somebody used. This hammer handle every working day and it gave it this wonderful smooth. Hand rubbed finish. I did nothing to the finish of the wood. This handle was. Hand rubbed smooth with bare human hands. The wood has been treated. With human skin oil. Sweat, and maybe a little blood. I can't improve that? I set the head using epoxy glue. One wood wedge and one steel wedge. The whole thing weighs 2lb& 2oz. and is 18.5" long. head is 6.25" long. I gave the hammer head a nice smooth brushed finish and oiled it. That pick is really sharp too. I ... moredidn't polish it because you are just going to get zombie brains all over it.
