For being 47 years old. This gal is in exceptional shape. No major dings scratches etc. Back has a few scuffs and dings, but very minor. Every thing works, sounds good, Mr. Tambourine Man. Chrome is in good shape, and has a new set of D'Adarrio strings. Repaired neck joint insures this guitar will be playing strong for another 47 years. the neck work was done in Sweden, before I imported it. I purchased it from Vintage Guitars in Sweden. Serial number 707606. Rikard will vouch for the quality of the repair work. While the solid body XIIs can handle the stress of twelve strings, the original Viking XII do not, and the neck gets pulled back, causing the neck pocket to drop, and then the most noticable defect happens, where the block with the front strap button starts to recede, causing the finish to crack as the block receeds. Vintage Dr Grabow 5 Pipe Estate Lot- With Humidor Regal Viking Riviera
You are looking at an estate lot consisting of 5 vintage Dr Grabow pipes and the humidor they came in. These belonged to a local judge who passed away at the age of 92. There are 3 metal and wood Vikings. 1 Riviera and 1 Regal. One of the Vikings has lost the bowl which comes with it but it will not secure itself to the stem. All the pipes definitely show some age as you can see in the photos. There is some oxidation and one of the Viking bowls has a decent sized crack. Other than the inside label being in bad shape, the humidor is in good condition for its age.
