This machine is all original not a lot of miles and no missing or broken parts. That said I don't see a nicer one listed and haven't seen one for a long time.The belts are ok but the lower small one may need to be replaced if you stitch a lot. I don't have the original extension table but I will provide a table from a newer 6000 series model. This machine is all cast aluminum.I'm am selling off most of my collection of older highly desired machines and this is the last Viking.I sold a lot of these Viking machines in the past and they make excellent stitches and easy to use with a lot of power but I decided to limit my time ... moreon selling different brand machines. 1960s Gretsch Hardshell Case for 6120, Country Club, Viking, Tenessean & More!
Up for sale. A mid 1960s Gretsch Hollowbody hardshell case in excellent condition. This case was used with many of the Gretsch models of the era including the 6120, Country Club, Tenessean, Viking and more, with a clean dark blue/gray exterior and burgundy plush lined interior. The case retains all of its original latches which work well and lock securely. The stock handle is intact as well, with the same original covering as the exterior of the case(which also matched the Valco made Supro amps of the era! How cool is that? The original gold"Gretsch" badge is still riveted to the case and shows almost no wear. The case does show some smaller scuffs around the edges. With some light wear to the blue textured covering as well. The gold on the latches understandably shows some wear from being handled over the past 50 years, but the ... morewear is not excessive and the patina is to be expected. VIKING BRONZE RING Large Viking Raiders Ring Size 11 Average Opening = 20.68mm Antiquities Corner is proud to present this fine historical artifact for your collecting pleasure. These artifacts were originally designed to be enjoyed by their owners and I have tried to return these treasures to a state which will both charm and enchant their new owners and show the skill and craftsmanship of old. STUPENDOUS! This ring comes from a cache of jewelry that was found near a Roman villa site in Ancient Moesia but dates from MUCH later and was probably cast in the Eighth or Ninth Century AD This ring has many interesting and well done elements about it. The ring features a thick. Widened band that has a high dome shape to it on top. The band is over 13mm wide on the front side and tapers down to 5mm at the rear of the band. The dome is almost 6mm ... moretall at the center. The band is thick and solid and I also added an extra picture to show you this against a white background below. I have seen a few of these from time to time and they all have this series of what look to be twisted cables but are really just cast to look that way. Some people call this a"Faux Twist" This is a simple decorative technique and we know that the Vikings were capable of some intricate metalwork so I have to guess that this style must harken back to a time earlier in their culture that they kept alive. One thing to note is how the parts that do not show are finished. The rear part and inside of the band never seem to be as well finished as Celtic rings were but the parts that are seen when the ring is worn is done quite well. This is one of the largest. Heaviest and most impressive examples of this ring type that I have come across in a long time. This ring could have come to the area either through trade that went up and down the Danube or more likely came down through trade along the Volga River trade route to the East. It is quite rare for one of these artifacts to survive in such fine shape because the acidic nature of the soil of West
