Antique Victorian German Silver Clothes Brush
This is a Victorian German Silver Clothes Brush. It has not been cleaned. But looks beautiful as is. It has natural bristles. It has one hole that the bristles are missing, but doesn't ruin the look. The last photo shows it. It has German Silver engraved on the side. Tried to show it in three of the photos. It has a couple of dings in the metal to the right of the engraved part of the brush, but are hardly noticeable.

LOVELY VICTORIAN STERLING TEASPOONS EDINBURGH 1844 (4)
This is a lovely set of four Scottish sterling teaspoons that were made in Edinburgh. In 1844. Each spoon measures about 5-3/4" long and the total weight is 2.75 troy ounces. They are in fine condition and are beautifully engraved, JW" in period script. They are marked with"AW" the maker) a Castle(Edinburgh) a Thistle(Scottish sterling) an"N" 1844) and the profile of Queen Victoria. Length along the outside edge from one side to the other is 55" The condition of the silk taffeta appears very nice with no splits that I found. Antique Long Crochet Lace Cuffs England late 1800’s From my own collection of linens is this lovely pair on antique long cuffs either to be worn with a dress or blouse. Very beautifully made. Cuffs have a lacy gathering or trim all around and 3 hooks for closure. Nice detailing of the lace trim and open spacing. Which I checked very carefully to see if any threads were broken within the patterns. I didn’t see any. But that doesn’t mean there might not be, I just wanted to mention I did check a couple times. Each of the pieces I measured laying flat: from cuff end– 4 ½” wide up to mid-way 5 1/16” then up to top edge 6” wide and I believe these are a medium to large pair. Lovely handmade antique tape lace collar or yoke found in a trunk of full of linens purchased at a Maine estate sale. This collar is handmade tape lace which is also called Brussels or Battenburg lace. The solid area is white and the tape lace sections are beige. It measures 18 inches around the neck and is 4 to 7 inches wide. This collar was carefully stored for many years and is in excellent condition. The closure is a reinforced loop and pearl button. This huge and quite heavy brooch consists of a large(ca. 5.5 x 4.5 cm) piece of oval black glass. At the centre of which the profile of a beautiful young lady with a pearl tiara on her head and her hair gathered up is depicted in relief. The profile is encircled by a double relief frame. All relief decorations ... moreare painted in silver colour. The back of the brooch has a“hammered” design. As shown in picture 5 below. The piece is completed with a gold-tone safety pin clasp. Which is in good working order. This piece is in good vintage condition. With some minor signs of wear to the silver-tone decorations, as well as some oxidation to the clasp. We haven’t polished or cleaned the item: it is sold as is.
