Construction is ... morewood, covered by blue metal on the outside and original paper on the inside. Corners and all edges are reinforced by metal, looks like copper. All latches work fine. Center latch is slightly corroded but functional, silver color. Handle seems like bakelite or early plastic material. The outside has some scratches, lots of character. This would be a great coffee table, toy box, or use your imagination! Rare to see an old trunk this size, they are usually way bigger. Weight; just over 20 pounds.
