This box and the watch in it were found in the bottom of an old trunk I got from an estate sell from an older lady who lived in England. I have absolutely no idea if this piece is authentic or not. It is not running. The hand wheel does turn the hands of the watch just fine. On the face of the watch a major name is beneath a tall crown like emblem. I understand it could be a fake but I know nothing about watches at all. I am offering it at a reasonable price and if it is real then that's just fine. I say yay! This is a Husky Mercedes 220 car. There is some paint wear at the top of the headlights and the edge of the trunk. There are three little dots on the hood that appear as if the paint layer is slightly thinner. The trunk opens. This has been stored in a smoke free and pet free environment. I am selling the Contents too! This old truck in on rollers so moves easily. I imagine the home owner decided to redo this old woodn box and covered it with padding and great fabric from that time which would be mid 1900's. Notice the Bakelite Handles one each end and the front knob. Need a couple fur collars? here you go. There is some wear on the fabric as you would expect on this vintage truck. Very unique clock made from a slice of tree trunk Looks beautiful when up on the wall! Seems to work great! Found in a nice storage unit we bought. There is a few areas that have a little wear the area to the right of the#4 on the edge is the most noticeable but overall it looks very nice displayed!
