What I think is fairly early, Optimus Model 00 camping stove with roarer ... moreburner, complete in its tin box. This stove was purchased new and owned and used by an enthusiast, who kept it in excellent condition and well polished. Unfortunately, in the last year it has not been polished or cleaned, just being left in the tin, so could do with a light cleaning. It comes complete with its small windshield, Optimus spanner, meths cans and three prickers with their opened packet. It has its cap for when the burner is removed, which is shown in one of the photos on the pump handle where it is kept. The stove body is dent and damage free as can be seen in the photos. The stove does not pressure up- I assume this is because it has not been used for a long time- I do not have a key to remove the valve. The pump washer is very good. The meths tin is dent free and still has nearly all its printing, both front and back. The tin box is very good indeed for its age, with its original handle and small turnbuckle on the front to hold the lid closed. It has a few shallow dents, a couple of small surface rust areas, and the natural deterioration that you expect to find on printed tins of this age. I have had a few stoves over the years, but must admit this is one of the best I have had. It is so nice to get a stove without dents and one having all the brass caps etc. and the burner nut undamaged from being'got at' by previous owners using pliers and a badly fitting spanner. I have taken plenty of pictures so you can assess the condition. Very Rare Huge Stoneware Crock Parlor Stove Red Wing Western Fort Dodge Iowa
Pick Up Only! No Shipping! Very large heating stove appears to be made of stoneware. Not sure what company would have made this as it is not marked. Stove stands just over 5 feet tall and comes apart in 3 sections. The 5th picture shows the top of the stove and damage and the last picture shows a crack that was repaired at one point. As you can see its not in perfect condition but it is certainly the only one I have ever seen. I'm really not sure what else there is to say about this. You are bidding on a Vintage 1910 Great Majestic wood/coal burning stove by The Majestic MFG CO. out of St. Louis Missouri U.S.A. This piece has a great look and I believe for the most part is complete other than oven rack. This stove is clearly dated september of 1910(see picture) The exact measurements are 61" tall. 36" wide and 27" in depth. There is heavy rust on inside and not so much on outside, and a small crack on one of the small front plates, but piece is not missing and can be welded(see picture) but not so bad for being 113 years old. There is an advertisement"MAJESTIC LOGO" which is oven temprature gauge and needle, both glass and advertismen are in tact and look great. Advertisement has a great look as it is a very antique lookin clipper ship.
