What I think is fairly early, Optimus Model 00 camping stove with roarer ... moreburner, complete in its tin box. This stove was purchased new and owned and used by an enthusiast, who kept it in excellent condition and well polished. Unfortunately, in the last year it has not been polished or cleaned, just being left in the tin, so could do with a light cleaning. It comes complete with its small windshield, Optimus spanner, meths cans and three prickers with their opened packet. It has its cap for when the burner is removed, which is shown in one of the photos on the pump handle where it is kept. The stove body is dent and damage free as can be seen in the photos. The stove does not pressure up- I assume this is because it has not been used for a long time- I do not have a key to remove the valve. The pump washer is very good. The meths tin is dent free and still has nearly all its printing, both front and back. The tin box is very good indeed for its age, with its original handle and small turnbuckle on the front to hold the lid closed. It has a few shallow dents, a couple of small surface rust areas, and the natural deterioration that you expect to find on printed tins of this age. I have had a few stoves over the years, but must admit this is one of the best I have had. It is so nice to get a stove without dents and one having all the brass caps etc. and the burner nut undamaged from being'got at' by previous owners using pliers and a badly fitting spanner. I have taken plenty of pictures so you can assess the condition. Green Coleman 2 Burner White or Unleaded Gas Stove, 425E499 with box
Nice older 2 burner Coleman camp stove. Model is 425E499. Runs off gasoline or white gas. I generally used white gas but that's just personal preference. I've upgraded to a 3 burner stove so this one needs a new home instead of just sitting around here. I always preferred the liquid fueled ones over propane, seems like you can get a lot more use out of the same dollar amount in fuel. I'd say the condition is very good for as many trips as it's taken. No rust to speak of, just the usual singes to the paint as pictured and scratches on the tank from going in and out of the stove body. Box won't win any beauty contests but it'll keep the dirt out of the stove and that's all that really matters. Yes this kitchen has some wear its old and was used many times. I think its from the late 70's or early 80 not sure. Stickers have some wear. I guess U can buy new ones but these are still not bad. I took many pictures so u can see it inside and out. The sink even can hold water and the phone is so funny cause I think the kids love the idea of the Rotary phone. THis one was used at Grandma's house. So maybe u will do the same or maybe u will like your childern to see what u used to have to play with.
