Vintage O'Keefe & Merritt Stove ready for restoration - will ship
Up for sale vintage O'Keefe& Merritt Stove that has been in my family since it was purchased new by my parents. It was only a few years ago put in barn when my step-mother didn't want to bother with oven door not closing properly. To our knowledge it was probalby working fine but I'm sure it needs a tune up and all the chrome needs refinishing and a good cleaning. There are chips in the porcelain but not bad at all for age and 6 kids. I love this stove with all my heart but cannot take it. I will palletize and ship it at your cost if you are not local. The viewing window is made of a plastic type of material and is dented in a bit. The feet are worn/corroded around the edges but still have enough material to support the stove. For sale! Some of you might recognize this from a previous listing. Due to a number of requests for more detailed pictures. I have decided to re-list it with many more photos. Description: Antique, functioning Tappan Deluxe 40 inch range. Has only had one owner and came with the home I just purchased. Porcelain is in great shape and still shiny. There are 3 spots on the stove where the porcelain has been chipped or worn. One of the spots is on the surface at the corner of the back right burner(see photo) Other points are on the right side of the stove. One spot at the bottom front corner about the size of a quarter and another on the upper side(see photos) Other points of concern are the two right hand side stainless steel burner plates. This is a true antique. Summer Girl Oil Heater made by The Taylor& Boggis Fdy Co Cleveland I was told these were sad iron heaters; however. Some were used for camp stoves and to heat up irons. The unit opens up well for access to the insides. It is sturdy and in good shape. It measures about 6 7/8” long x 7 3/4 wide x 9” tall. It weighs about 8 1/2 lbs. It has small feet to keep the hot body from making full contact with any surface it rests on. The wicks both look to still have lots of use. One of the little grate things around the wicks are missing.pictured) As far as i can tell this is in very good condition. There is some surface rust. This item is a mixed lot of a pony and accessories and they are by Hasbro and are My Little Pony. They are from a smoke free home and in very good used condition. The kitchen stove part will pop up when the pony foot goes on it and then it turns into a sink. The pony character name I don’t know it’s a pink one with a white gem on the side. All toy items have general wear from play and storage and some no wear at all. I will state any marks on the item that maybe a permanent one and I’m not sure if they are permanent marks or can be removed. Consists of 5 pot pieces and windscreens and also has the usually missing handle and a box of wooden matches that was found inside. The base of the pot states 1.5 L.
