This is a beautiful arts and crafts signed Stickley mirror in two tone wood. The mirror is in good condition with no damage but some paper residue on the top- see photos. I believe this would clean up easily. The mirror measures about 14" tall and about 9&1/2" wide. The wood is primarily a medium tone wood with darker wood squares inlaid into each corner. I believe the primary wood is cherry but it may be a dark oak. The inlaid corners may be mahogany? Offered here is a pair of Craftsman era bookends. They are unsigned. I believe they were produced by an acid etching process. Each has a mirrored plant motif in a very slight relief. The chair was distributed through a prestigious dealer Lenhart& Murphy from Peru Indiana.they were also noted for selling stoves carpets as well as being Funeral Directors. The chair is in outstanding condition with very light signs of wear. It has it's original coloration varnish etc. It measures about 33 inches high by 27 1/2 inches wide by about 27 inches deep with a chair height starting at 17" and sloping back. The piece is extremely well built. There is no spline joining boards on the seat. Likewise no tenon joints. It is dusty and could use a little wiping down. Up for auction is this Stickley Dining Set post 1950. It is being sold as is and does have evidence of use. The table has water marks. Scratches, nothing that can't be repaired. The table when fully open is 71 1/2" long. It is 44" wide, 29 3/4" tall. When the leaves are down the table is 27 1/2" Each leaf is 22" It does come with 4 rush seat ladder back chairs. The seats are all in good condition, they have had pads on them for protection. The chair backs are 40" tall and the seats are 18 1/2" x 16" The chairs are marked Stickley Fayetteville Syracuse. RARE 1910 iron garden gate door from original south jersey mansion stickley
This is about the nicest piece of antique iron you will see. I would say it is arts and crafts turn of the century.as the rest of the estate was of the period. I will be listing some furniture as well.the detail and massive bold twists and turns make it a one of a kind piece. Measuring 42 1/2" wide and 55" tall it jumps out at you from 100 feet away.it is currently being used as a privacy panel on my patio. The hinges and latch were not salvaged and will have to be added for gate use. again this is the nicest piece of antique iron you will find. This design features an over-hanging top with arched aprons above five shelves, and it has paneled splayed-leg sides w/ arches at the bottom. Looks and feels like it is the original finish(w/ top overcoated) Signed with red decal. Quartersawn oak throughout. Original bevels to bottoms of posts and original floor glides. Size: 22"w x 13"d x 42"h. Very heavy.weighs in at 40 lbs. Very fine condition. Solidly built. On the underside of the top. It is signed w/ the 1" tall red decal showing a joiner's compass around the words"Als Ik Kan" with"Stickley" in script below, all enclosed in a rectangle. This dates the manufacture to 1902-04. This is a Gus Stickley Sideboard No.816 as seen in the Craftmans Furniture Catalog of April 1912.PG 41.The finish on the piece is the original finish.we did a light wash and polish for it was quite dirty.Did not touch up any of the scuffs and flaws.It basically is as how we found it,minus some dirt and grime.It has great patina to the wood and brasses and neither had been altered.The leather on the inside top center drawer is apparenly original to the piece.as per the catalog.It is 48" tall.48" wide and 18" deep.There is no key for the locks,but would probably be a easy key to find if needed. Stickley Era Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Tabouret Table Stand Cut Outs Description. For your consideration is a: Stickley Era Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Tabouret Table Stand Cut Outs. This Period Arts& Crafts Stand Has its original Finish and a very unusual cut out design on all 4 of its canted sides. The construction is solid and is very unusual with dado joints on two of the sides of the base for the other sides of the base to fit into. The top also is attached in an unusual fashion in order to prevent cracking as the wood shrinks across the grain over time. There is a piece of wood on the inside of the base which is larger than the opening at the top and has sides angled to match the canted sides of the base. This wood piece is attached to the underside of the top with screws which pulls the top of the stand to the ... morebase(just a note to lift the stand by the base and not the top so you don't put undo stress on the top. I have added rubber washers to the screws th at attach the wood block in the base to the underside of the top in order to take up some space from wood shrinkage since I did not want to over tighten the screws and crack the top or worse screw through the top. And the fix works well. There is a label under the t op with the number 52 and also also also some letters marked underneath the top which I wasn't able to make out. This stand is unlike any other that I have encountered and I am sure it will make a great addition to your Stickley.
