Mission Inn Hammered Brass Copper Vase Arts Crafts Stickley Era RARE FORM
Here's a rare hammered brass and copper triangular vase made for the Mission Inn in Riverside California. This form is rare; I have owned and seen other versions but cannot find this triangular form anywhere online including auction houses. It is not marked. Stickley Brothers did make pieces for the Mission Inn; it is possible this is one of their pieces. Overall it is in very good condition with original patina and only some minor bumps/flaws here and there. Please see photos and ask questions! About 7 1/4" tall by about 5 1/2" at widest at top. Stickley Brandt Walnut Chair
Charles Stickley and his cousin Schuyler Brandt formed the Stickley& Brandt Chair Company in 1891. They quickly became the largest furniture dealer in New York State. Selling a wide variety of furniture including ornately carved fancy rockers that were popular at the time. For short periods, John George and Leopold Stickley worked for the company. In 1909, Stickley& Brandt began making Arts and Crafts pieces like those made by Charles' brothers. Stickley& Brandt went out of business in 1918. This rare dining chair was likely produce very near 1900. It has styling from a number of influences; Queen Anne. Federal, Early American and Chippendale. Perhaps they were trying to be all things to all people. It has never been refinished and has its original caned seat. It is a very sturdy and strong piece considering its been around ... morefor a hundred plus years. This chair is 39" tall. And has a 15 3/4' by 16" seat.

Here is a nice STICKLEY buffet server table. In very good gently used shape. It measures approx 39" tall, 56" wide and 21" deep. It has the 3 drawers, and 2 side doors for storage. This is an excellent example of a Gustav Stickley small rocker or nursing rocker. Made of solid quartered oak with an original medium brown finish and original tight rush seat. It has tight pegged joints throughout the chair and Harvey Ellis side aprons on all four sides of the rocker. Signed with Gustav Stickley's joiner compass mark. Dated between 1903-1912. Antique 1912- 1914 Stickley Oak& Leather Mission Style Rocking Chair- ALL ORIGINAL! This is a beauty! Stickley 1912- 1914 rocking chair- all ORIGINAL. The leather is beautifully worn in- no rips or tears. I would say. The leather is stiff and dry. It is cracking in some areas. Especially the back of the leather on the back rest cushion. The seat is the most supple. The rest of the leather is not supple. Could use some leather conditioning. I left everything the way it is. I don't want to do any damage. One of the leather straps on top that hold the leather cushion in place. That goes over the top of the chair, is nearly torn all the way. I would not put the leather strap over the back and side down. I would be worried the strap would rip. BEAUTIFUL chair- great condition. Especially considering the age. The oak wood is also original ... moreexcellent condition- has some small nicks here and there. But overall excellent! This has not been refinished. This Stickley rocker is a rare find! The worn leather is awesome- hard to believe it is over 100 years old! Would be great in a home or office- such a classic look! If you would like more close up pics or have more questions. Antique Stickley Brothers Pair of Chairs Mission Oak Arts and Crafts Period
Gorgeous pair of antique Stickley Brothers Mission Oak Arts and Crafts Period. We bought these at the Brimfield Antiques Fair. MA, about 10 years ago. The dealer told us they are Stickley Brothers. There was a part of a label on one chair, even though they appear re-finished, but that label is long gone. The chairs are very heavy and measure about 24 width, 24 depth and 37 inches height. The seats are in good condition but they have been re-upholstered with faux leather. We did think about having the seats done in leather but never got around to it. The finish is nice and"warm" The chairs are in great condition with no major flaws. Naturally 80-100 years of age will result in the odd nick, ding and scrape but on par these are almost as good as new. Due to the size/weight of the set. I'm not offering shipping at this point. Stickley Roycroft era Benedict hammered copper humidor
Superb hammered copper Benedict humidor in excellent original condition. The patina is fantastic on this one. Nearly perfect. I don't recall seeing a better patina on a piece of benedict prior to this one. The hammering detail is second to none as well, finished with riveted bands that end in scrolled feet. Signed with the stamped Benedict studios mark on the bottom as pictured. The lid fits tightly, and is slightly out of round, which may have been intentional in order to hold the lid on securely. What a beautiful piece of furniture. Made by Stickley and sold at Hathaway's in NY CITY. Yes the same family as"Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway" and because of this metal tag dates to around the 1920s. You will not believe the condition, all 100% original, is as tight as the day it was made, not repairs, broken or replaced parts. This piece has never been refinsihed, its original warms brown color will go with anything.The arms have these Shaker like,large mushroom caps at the front of the arms, the splats along the back are very comfortable against the back. The under spring structure is of the highest quality as one can imagine from the Stickley Co. The padded fabric covering the spring structure is also in great shape. Up for sale is my Original Vintage Leopold Stickley Drop Leaf Coffee table. You will notice by the pictures that there are scratches throughout on the surface of the table. However the table remains as solid today as it was some 65+ years ago. I apologize but I will have to guess the length as I put it back in storage prior to taking measurements. Nice signed Michigan chair co magazine stand. Original finish with some light alligatoring. And fading to one side at the base. There is also light damage that is pretty much confined to one foot. See pics. Great wood selection with good color. Nice bold decal on the bottom with stenciled model number too. This is one of my favorite magazine stands with the keyed tenons, and the tapered bottom edge to the top. Very unique stand. Measures 33" tall. Stickley era mission oak window bench seat
Hard to find original stickley era antique window seat or bench. Unsigned. But a great form with some thought into the design process. Great color and finish, looks original but might have had some color added. Made of thick stock oak that measures a full 1 1/4" on the sides and the top. The lower stretchers still measures just shy of an inch thick too! Very heavy piece for it's size. These are great accent pieces for any room in the house. You can even use them at the foot of the bed. Measures 32 1/2" long. 12 1/2" deep, and the seat height is 18" The sides extend up past the seat by about 2" for a total height of 20" Flat rate shipping will be $55 to the lower 48 states. Awesome green studio? vase from the arts and crafts era. Obviously modeled after Teco and other prairie styled items. Signed on the bottom with artist initials of"MR" Measures 9" wide from handle to handle. And 4 1/2" tall. There is a flea bite on the corner of one handle, see pics. And one side, of both handles, shows separation lines from way back when they were applied. You can see that its not a crack, but rather the handle slightly pulled away from the body. Signed Rookwood vase. Dated 1908 and covered in a nice soft matte green glaze. Embossed design repreats all the way around the vase and looks great. There is a tight hairline from the rim down, about 1 1/2" No other repairs or damage. Measures 5" tall, and 3" wide. Great little cabinet vase to add to your collection.
