This is a signed Gustav Stickley 1/4 sawn oak wood Harvey Ellis Rocker- for sale. Model#339. Circa 1901 to 1902. Harvey Ellis was involved style influence with three vertical slats at back and arched seat rails. The rocker is in the normal condition of a rocker from this era. It comes with the original seat and leather. Leather on seat is worn with normal wear of a 100yr old antiquity. However is not physically attached to the chair. The left back arm is loose, but does not hinder the functionality of the chair. The chair is 34in in Height and 24in in Width. The seat is 18in in Width and the back of the seat is 22in in Height. As this chair was made in the early 1900's. I would consider this piece to be used more as a show piece of the Gustav Stickley- Harvey Ellis furniture maker, rather than a day to day use. Roycroft RARE Tooled Leather Mat Large 14.5" Arts Crafts Stickley Era For Copper
Here's a rare find. I recently acquired this Roycroft leather mat. It is very large at 14.5" in diameter. Marked with the orb and cross with a really unusual exaggerated curl to the R. This pattern can be seen in the leather goods catalogue; I found a pdf of it online. As far as I know. This is all hand tooled-if I am wrong, please correct me. The pattern is wonderful, full of flowers that echo the trefoils found on Roycroft copperwork. The mat would be a great way to display such copperwork as I've shown in the photo. There are condition issues. There are losses all around the perimeter and two holes in the middle area as shown in the photos. The backing does cover these up though. The stitching has fallen out so the backing is nearly separated. It is adhered to one corner only. Please see photos for the best evaluation of the ... morecondition. I have applied a generous coat of Pecard's leather dressing on both sides of the tooled mat and on one side of the back. The other part is suede, which I typically don't treat with Pecards. I collect vintage leather jackets and have used this for years; it has saved many vintage pieces from further damage. This dressing will seep in to protect the leather; it may be oily to the touch until it fully seeps in. This would be a wonderful addition to any Roycroft collection as these leather pieces are extremely rare. This piece could be framed for display to add further protection. The winner could also decide to have the border trimmed for a more uniform appearance. Either way, this is a great piece. My asking price is in line for similar examples sold at auction. Stickley Style Arts and Crafts Tile Top Plant Stand Quartersawn White Oak
This is a Stickley Style Plant Stank that I made from quartersawn White Oak. It has a has a top with 4 blue tiles surrounded or trimmed by oak. The top sits on and is attached to two stretchers. This is stand is 26 inches high and about about 14 1/4 wide. It is made with pinned mortise and tenon joinery. It is double pinned horizontally on the stretcher that supports the top but the outside pin is basically decorative. It is finished with oil shellac and polyurethane. It has had a layer of antique glazing that is applied and wiped off going into corners and pores to give it a more antique finish and adding a bit of tone. The pictures probably give a better idea of what it looks like than the description. Shipping for this item is 50 dollars in the lower 48 of the USA. Vtg Antique Mission Style Quarter Sawn Oak Lamp Stickley Era Slag Glass Light
For your consideration is a Mission style table lamp. The quarter sawn oak base is 6 3/4" square and the lamp stands 19 1/2" tall. The 14" square slag glass shade has all its original glass panels. Though two of the panels do have cracks. Both sides are shown in the last two photos, glass panels are tight with no missing pieces. The vintage brass pull chain switch socket accepts a standard base bulb(bulb not included) The lamp has been rewired with an 18 gauge cloth covered wire and a vintage style two prong plug. Here's a beautiful Arts and Crafts era Asian champleve bronze or brass? Lamp with mica shade. The shape of the shade complements the base wonderfully. Stands about 19" tall; shade is 12" at widest and 8" tall. Lamp is in pretty good shape but there are some flaws: shade has one arm on the spider repaired and some places where the mica is lighter and some darker-please see photos for condition. As it is, it is appx. 27" tall, 18" to the top of the base. Base is 7-1/4" diameter. Weighs over 5 lbs. Some of the original patina remains. No shade is included. Missing the shade holder pieces(compare to catalog reprint photos) Sockets are new. Original ball at the top(one screw replaced) A great organically shaped form w/ six separate pieces forming the body as it flares out and tapers to the top where there is more detailed workmanship. RARE GORHAM HAND HAMMERED COPPER CARD TRAY ORIGINAL PATINA STICKLEY MISSION ERA
The Gorham Co.of Providence R. I. is one of America's oldest and finest maker of metal art objects. Best known for their work in silver. This is a rare example of their seldom seen mission style copper work. It is signed with the Gorham mark with the form identifier Y 1 24. I am presuming that this was a business card tray. This and other pieces I'm listing came out of an estate sale in Pasadena. California. It was a beautiful Greene& Green type bungalow filled with Roycroft, Stickley and Limbert furniture. Original untouched patina. No dents beautiful craftsmanship. Tray is actually a warmer. More golden color than pictured. Flash made tray too shiny. No flash made it a little more coffee colored. You will not be disappointed with the beautiful patina. Size is 7 3/4 x 6 1/4. No reserve.

Signed Stickley Brothers/Quaint furniture 5 drawer vanity ... morewith the original hand hammered copper handles and the provenance is very interesting as this vanity was removed from the Fred Harvey Hotel in Las Vegas New Mexico(documented see photo) The vanity appears to have the original finish to the base and the top appears to have as heavy wax coat over a worn off finish.The metal rings that hold the mirror are correct, mission period pieces but they are not original to the vanity. I believe the mirror is original also. The mirror is removable but the uprights appear to be removable but look as though they have never been removed. There is one repair to the center drawer skirt(pictured) The metal label/tag is attached to the back. The cabinet is tight and has only a minor chip to the wood at a back corner(pictured) and the desk top has a 4 inch long deep pen mark(pictured) Like I said this vanity presents very well for its age and not only is collectible but will appreciate with age. This is a vintage" Cahill" 5-piece hammered brass plated fireplace tool set. It was purchased at an estate sale. So not certain as to exact age, but it is in excellent vintage condition meaning it is not new. It is used and shows wear with surface scratches, very light surface rust in areas and some wear spots with plating loss. The set is dirty and has soot deposits. The poker does have a minor bend. This fantastic set stands approximately 28 1/2" tall. The top measures 14 1/2" across by 3 5/8" deep. The base is in the style of a rectangle which measures 13" across by 6" deep. Vintage 1930's Wood Hall Tree Coat Stand in Excellent condition. Rock Solid with NO damage. Just a few light scuffs from being in the SAME SPOT for over 3/4 of a CENTURY! Made of SOLID OLD GROWTH White Pine, is has beautiful patterns in the grain; one side shows like it is Maple. The finish is ORIGINAL and untouched! There is some wear to the brass plating on the hooks but they can easily be replated or left to show its age. Stickley Brothers Quaint Furniture Company Arts& Crafts chair for sale. I bought this chair for my x-boyfriends 40th and now its time to let it go! I bought it from e-bay from a woman in Georgia. Her Grandparents bought the chair directly from Quaint Furniture in Grand Rapids. Mich. around 1940. The original owner(her Grandmother) covered the original inner spring cushion with some fabric and pinned it in place- and also covered the back with the same fabric. I have owned this chair for about 5 years and have done nothing to it. The chair is in great shape but there is a piece of coil popping through the cushion(see photos) Chair has quarter sawn oak throughout and nice patina! Signed Gustav Stickley Dropfront Desk, Circa 1905-1912
Beautiful signed Gustav Stickley Drop Front Desk from 1905-1912. The desk is made of quarter sawn oak with an excellent original finish. The piece has excellent. Bulky form with 3 drawers under the drop front and many interior dividers for papers. It sits on original casters and features excellent hammered iron pulls with their original patina. The piece is sturdy and strong. It is signed with an early red decal inside one drawer and has the remnants of a paper label on the back. This is a very nice piece and would look very nice in a craftsman style home or make a very nice decorative piece. There is a moisture ring on the top and the ink stains on inside of the drop front that do not detract from the beauty but show its age. Please see the pictures for more details. Vintage Antique Stickley style Arts and Crafts Oak Umbrella stand with brass feet in very good condition. Solid with no loose joints or cracks in the wood. Feet are secure(need to be polished. I polished part of one to ascertain the type of metal) 8 compartments. There is an aluminum drip tray, but I don't believe it to be original. Finish looks to be original and shows some signs of normal use, but not abuse. Measures 19 1/4 x 11 x 27 tall and weights 19 lbs. Corner posts are solid 2 x 2 word, not glued pieces. Feet are secured with a single, brass nail on the inside leg. No signs of storage abuse. Feet still have felt pads in good condition. I will ship as soon as payment clears. Great style to this rarely seen Arts& Crafts form.a tapered and splayed base table or taboret w/ cutouts and 6 small square spindles. Excellent original condition. Original medium dark finish.shows"alligatoring" or the fine-line cracquelure that one sees on old finishes. Size: 18" tall. 14" square top. All quartersawn oak. Unmarked. I've only seen three of these in 25 years. Good weight to this piece.weighs 10 lbs. A useful size and great"lyre" design.in fine condition. Unmarked. Insured shipping is $45.

Antique arts and crafts hammered copper and brass humidor. Unmarked. The humidor is made from lighter weight materials and is in good original condition and retains its original patina. The lid is damaged slightly and has a thin barely perceptible crack which I have photographed against a light so that it is visible in the photos. The humidor measures 5.75" tall. 5.25" at the widest, the diameter of the base is 3.5" and the diameter of the mouth is 3.25" The"rivets" are actually repouseed from the back and the connection between the copper and the brass is soldered. Beautiful hammering and craftsmanship.
