Antique Stickley Brothers Quaint ? Arts & Crafts Mission Sideboard With Mirror
Stickley Brothers Quaint(I think) Arts& Craft Mission Style China Cabinet This sideboard measures approx. 63 1/2" wide x 57" tall x 22" deep. I'm not sure if it has been refinished at some point. It does not have the Quaint Stickley brothers label. But I'm told it is Quaint Stickley Brothers and that it was purchased at the same time as other pieces that I'm listing separately. There are two small drawers surrounded by an open cabinet on each side, as well as a larger bottom drawer. There is a mirrored back on the sideboard. I'll have several listings over the next several weeks for nice early Stickley Brothers Quaint Arts& Crafts dining room pieces. These pieces are believed to be very early 1900's. They were purchased by the consignor's grandmother in the Midwest and have been in the family ... moreever since. I don't know if these pieces are in original condition or if they have been refinished at some point. Only the dining chairs have the original Quaint Stickley Bros tag. However. I'm told that all the pieces that I will be listing are part of the set. I cannot verify that, but all pieces appear to be either Quaintly Sticley bros. or a very similar style. large antique mission oak Foot Stool vintage Arts & Crafts Stickley Limbert vtg
Vintage early 1900's Mission Oak foot stool in all original condition. Great Arts& Crafts form but it is unsigned and I do not know the maker. Nice larger than normal size at 16" tall. 19-3/4" long, and 15-3/4" wide. It is all solid oak and retains its original finish. There are some small chips at the foot areas but otherwise just normal surface wear. The leather top is worn and also has tiny paint dots here and there. I have had this stool in my home for 20+ years and it is now for sale as I prepare to move and downsize. With it's spindled sides I always kept it alongside my spindle sided L&JG chair which I also have currently listed on ebay so please check my other listings. Exceptional and rare L&JG Stickley#814 high back chair in very nice original finish. It is over 100 years old and as you can see it has been extremely well cared for. This is a large and very impressive chair with great Arts& Crafts form. Measures 45-5/8" tall. 27-3/4" wide, and 21" deep. The seat cushion is 22-1/2" wide and 19" deep. As the brass plate on the arm shows, this chair was presented to Rev. Herbert Makenzie by the Gospel Church Baraca Class in 1912. That church is no longer in existence but the building still stands on Cedar Rd. in Cleveland, OH. Condition is excellent for a chair made over a century ago. There are two small chips on the post beneath the left arm(see closeup photo next to quarter) but otherwise just normal light surface wear and good original finish. Even the original leather ... morespring seat cushion is still intact. It has crazing to its surface but no tears. The L&JG signature stamp is located on the back side(see closeup photos) I have had this chair in my home for 20+ years and now it is for sale as I prepare to move and downsize. 2002 Stickley Wood Inlay Desk Mantle Shelf Clock Signed 5.75" Exc
Original Stickly Desk Mantel or Shelf Clock. This clock takes one small A23 battery that sits behind the face. The mechanism is made in Germany. It is in overall excellent condition with a small nick at the inside of one foot. Made from one solid block of wood with two darker wood inlaid squares. Vintage Claycraft Batchelder Tile Fireplace Surround Arts Crafts Stickley Era
Here's an incredible find. This Arts and Crafts Stickley Era fireplace surround was salvaged from a local bungalow"remodel"which unfortunately means they are removing anything original) It's mostly intact. There are some tiles missing from the interior firebox area but I have three of them; the other three are missing. Since these are way up under there. Replacement tiles would easily blend in. There is a bit of damage as shown to the center tile above the firebox and someone also drilled holes in two areas, which could be easily patched. Otherwise. The tiles are in good shape. Some staining I believe but they are still very striking. The center tile was identified by an LA vintage tile store as being Claycraft. It measures 12" by 8" A tile this size alone is probably worth $1200-1500. The field tiles that are ... moreloose are not marked. I haven't been able to id them. If you have an idea. Let me know. They are similar to Batchelder in effect. The surround is attached to its original wooden framing and lath. It was originally used as a surround for a gas unit. That it why it was removed in one piece and not attached to brick. The nice part is that it's all in one piece with original grout. This could be reinstalled for use with a more modern"zero clearance" fireplace or simply used as a decorative centerpiece. The tiles would have to be removed and cleaned to use with an existing brick fireplace. Measures 56" wide by 48 1/4" tall. The firebox area is about 2 feet by 2 feet. Need other measures? Let me know. This is for local pick up. You must pick up or arrange for pick up. This is heavy and will take at least two people to move. I am not responsible for any damage as a result of the move. Antique 1905 Stickley Oak& Leather Mission Style Rocking Chair- ALL ORIGINAL! This is a beauty! Stickley 1905- 1908 rocking chair- all ORIGINAL. The leather is beautifully worn in- no rips or tears. I would say. The leather is stiff and dry. It is cracking in some areas. Especially the back of the leather on the back rest cushion. The seat is the most supple. The rest of the leather is not supple. Could use some leather conditioning. I left everything the way it is. I don't want to do any damage. One of the leather straps on top that hold the leather cushion in place. That goes over the top of the chair, is nearly torn all the way. I would not put the leather strap over the back and side down. I would be worried the strap would rip. BEAUTIFUL chair- great condition. Especially considering the age. The oak wood is also original excellent ... morecondition- has some small nicks here and there. But overall excellent! This has not been refinished. This Stickley rocker is a rare find! The worn leather is awesome- hard to believe it is over 100 years old! Would be great in a home or office- such a classic look! If you would like more close up pics or have more questions. Antique Larkin Mission oak leaded stained glass doors bookcase Stickley era
Hello. Up for auction is this striking antique solid oak, leaded stained glass, double door bookcase with scroll feet, with four adjustable shelves, and original hardware, with key for locking. It is solid oak, and in great shape for an old piece, including the original finish. Book case was made by Larkin soap company, of Buffalo, NY at the turn of the century, although there are no manufacturer's marks on it. It is indeed a Larkin. No breaks, or cracks in glass. Larkin was an early 20th Century soap manufacturer, who started giving away furniture as promotional items, and had so much success, they started making, and selling their own line of furniture. Antique/ Vintage Octagonal Top. Small Table in Mission or Arts and Crafts or Stickley Style End. Plant, Fern Stand, Taboret 16 1/2" high x 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" Very versatile piece to use as a side table. End table, nightstand or a plant/fern stand. Octagonal top is made in one part. And sits inside the legs. The legs which measure approx 2 1/2” x 5/8” Extend approx 3/4” above the octagon top. The bottom of the legs are cut out“clothespeg or clothespin” shape. Crossbars are sturdily notched into each other. And sit 4 3/4" from base. Excellent condition structurally. This is a gorgeous hard heavy wood that I believe is either cherry or walnut. Beautiful set of 6 Stickley Dining chairs. Chairs measure 43"tall. 18" wide and 18"deep. Made in the American Colonial or William and Mary style. Two arm chairs and four side chairs. Chairs are in great shape for their age. Were re rushed in the early 1970's. The spindle backs of the chairs are flat on the side your back touches and rounded on the outside. Antique Gustav Stickley Foot Stool Gout Monk Authentic Craftsman RED Label Oak
This is a very Rare 1907 Gustav Stickley signed oak gout or monk stool that is in 100% original condition. I think they made these up to 1915 so I cant date it exactly but it is clearly at least 100 years old. This is the Craftsman oak square 12" X 12" and around 4.5" high. The leather covering has some cracking but I took photos from every angle of this rare. Original stool. There is some typical scuffs and scrapes to the edge of the legs, otherwise the finish is as it was when it came from Gustav's shop. Has the rare red label that is nearly 100% intact, look for yourself in the photos. At least 100 years old this may be the only chance for you to buy an authentic piece of Gustav Stickley Craftsman stool. Made of wood and leather the patina on this is original and awesome. Up for bid is one antique arts and crafts Silver Crest style silver over bronze cabinet vase. Soft shouldered vase measures 6-1/4" in height. Decorative silver detail on two sides. Un-marked. Vase has a couple of dings at rim on one side and a dark spot on the other side. Rim is slightly out of round. Vase or at least silver portion shows evidence of being cleaned eons ago but patina is very nice. Looks like a Silver Crest piece but being un-marked. Cannot say for sure. This is a gorgeous set of antique andirons. 5 1/4" wide x 9 3/4" deep x 19" high, age and maker unknown. They appear to be a combination of many styles, Arts and Crafts, Mission, Aesthetic, Stickley Era, and Gothic with paw feet legs, a delicate raised flower, and a raised graduating layered modern overlapping ring design/ pattern in the tall tapered front section. The attached/ screwed on back leg section has a Gothic look. Very heavy, almost 10 pounds each. They do have rust and a beautiful dark patina from use and age. Very unique. Original seat cushions that are made of oil cloth. The chair features short corbels under the front seat stretcher and through-tenons at the front and back of the arms and five adjustable positions. Showing the original turned adjusting pegs and axles. This Morris chair retains the Original Morris chair model numbers stenciled on the inside of the rear seat stretcher 764-780 1/2 and written in pencil the number 780 1/2 on the bottom seat cushion. The earlier Stickley Brothers pieces were signed with a small oval paper label attached with one or two nails. Very nice L J& G Stickley with original label on inside of door. Has not been refinished still has wonderful original finish Found in a smoke free estate that we are selling. We did nothing to it in fact still some dust on top. The only drawback is one of the two back panels has a split down the middle and the paper Stickley label is missing a little of it otherwise with a little polish ready to go into your home. This is a pick up only in Red Bank NJ at a house we are conducting a sale at this month on the 14th thru the 16th Can be picked up prior to sale.
