This is a wonderful old Arts& Crafts piece dating to about 1912-1916. It is made with quartersawn Oak with hammered copper hardware. This has the original pidgeon holes inside. It is signed on the inside with the original paper paster tag with his logo and the red jointer's compass mark. The tag also reads: desk. 728 and copper. ITEM MEASUREMENTS This measures ... moreabout 43 3/8" high. 30 1/4" wide and 13 1/2" deep. Above photo: upper right corner of drop down cover has small area of missing veneer. THIS ITEMS CONDITION REPORT This has signs of use with some stains and scuffs. It needs cleaning and a small missing piece of veneer on the top cover which can easily be replaced, shown in photos. Pair of hammered iron arts and crafts pendant or sconces stickley era
For sale here is a fantastic pair of hammered iron shades. Excellent quality and great original patina. The white glass is intact and original as well. There is some discoloration to the glass. I'm not sure if it'll clean off or not. There are no sockets present either. These shades measure approx 4 1/2" wide at the bottom. 11" tall, and the glass insert are about 3 1/2" in diameter. Here's a Stickley Brothers#65 ewer in incredible original condition. Rarely have I seen a piece in such good shape. The patina is original with only one drip blemish toward the back: this could probably be removed. There are no dings I could find. These are usually dented and split due to use. There is very nice hammering and workmanship here; some SB pieces are not as well done. Stands 13" tall by about 6 7/8" wide on bottom. Marked clearly on bottom with numbers with remnant of paper label. These pieces are extremely hard to find in this condition. Payment due on invoice via Paypal. Here's a very impressive and massive Arts and Crafts era hammered copper jardiniere. This piece is much in the style of Stickley and Stickley Brothers although it is unmarked. The heavy bands with square rivets make this piece stand out even more. It is in excellent shape-only a few flaws here and there. All original reddish brown patina. There seems to be what I think is a zinc lining on the inside. This piece is VERY heavy. The octagonal form with its subtle flaring was definitely made by someone with great skills. Excellent stickley roycroft grueby era hand painted bavarian china coffee set
Here is a fantastic coffee service in hand painted bavarian china. There are 6 cups and saucers. Creamer, and sugar w/lid. The saucers are all artist signed and dated 1915. The sugar is signed in the same manner as pictured. There is virtually no damage to this fabulous set remarkably. One saucer has two flea bites on the edge which was nearly impossible to photograph. See the photo showing half of a saucer. There is a fair amount of work done on this set. The rose motif repeats itself around all pieces and is done very well. The saucers measure approx 5" And the largest piece measures approx 6" wide. Flate rate shipping to the lower 48 states will be $20 insured and packed well.

Stickley era Benedict hammered copper humidor
Superb hammered copper Benedict humidor in excellent original condition. The patina is fantastic on this one. Nearly perfect. I don't recall seeing a better patina on a piece of benedict prior to this one. The hammering detail is second to none as well, finished with riveted bands that end in scrolled feet. Signed with the stamped Benedict studios mark on the bottom as pictured. The lid fits tightly, and is slightly out of round, which may have been intentional in order to hold the lid on securely. Here's an iconic piece of Arts and Crafts metalwork: Hans Jauchens hammered copper bud vase. The eucalyptus theme features a leaf and pod. The pod is an actual eucalyptus pod that Jauchens copper plated. This piece is in very good condition: no damage. Original patina, only some scratches of the varnish top coat, which is expected after almost 100 years. It even retains the original glass insert. Which is especially rare. This piece is unsigned but two of this exact form were sold and attributed to Jauchens last month through an auction by California Historical Design, a reputable Berkeley based dealer of Arts and Crafts metalware and host of a recent Van Erp exhibition. Antique Mission tabouret stand from the early 1900's. I believe that it is solid Ash or Chestnut. The top is 1-1/4" thick. Height is 18" and the top is 13-1/2" in diameter. Great Arts& Crafts form. Here is a very early and RARE Tiger Oak Danner Revolving Bookcase in the medium dark'Fumed Oak' finish that was used very often in the 1890-1920 Arts and Crafts(Stickley Era) by most makers of fine Mission Oak furniture. The Paine Furniture(established in 1835) company sold Danner bookcases of this type in the 1880's through the early 1900's with the wider slats and DECORATIVE hobnails. This was probably a special order made by Paine Furniture during those years. We had this model once before. And the Paine Furniture label was under the bottom of the Danner. There are a few very minor"scars of time" that only add authenticity and charm to this treasure. Overall measurements are 26" square and 58" high. There are four levels with 16 bookcase sections. Up for auction is a great. Leaded glass ceiling fixture/ shade in a good Prairie School architectural form; the design attributed to the architectural firm of Percy D. Bentley and Charles A. Hauser, architects with offices in St. Paul, Minnesota, and La Crosse, Wisconsin. I have included a couple photos from one of several large placards that accompanied a Prairie School traveling exhibition, top row, middle photo)The exhibition was put together by one of our local museums years ago that shows nearly identical designs for a chandelier used for the interior of a LaCrosse, Wisconsin home. This exhibition was later put into a book form which I have but can't seem to find.There is a bordered layer of glass near the top with elongated rectangles that add extra Prairie School decorative appeal, a common form utilized by Bentley and Hauser. ... moreThere is some minor corrosion and loss to the metal on the top, and some paint loss to the metal parts, doubt the paint is original, easy enough to strip off if desired) This, and an other matching fixture sold separately, can be affixed directly to the ceiling, or hung from a rod attachment as seen in one of the exhibition photos. Finished in matching stain, and disassembles with ease into 3 components: Top, Trestles(2) all secured with 2 heavy bolts under each trestle into table. It is quite heavy. This magnificent English mahogany cabinet is based on the"bookpress" originally made in England in about 1750. The bookcase is related in design to rococo bookcases illustrated in the famous 1754 design book The Gentleman and Cabinetmaker's Director by Thomas Chippendale. Especially in its use of architectural elements, patterned mullions and robust rococo brasses. Oriental influence is apparent in its glass panel configuration. Combined with a hint of classicism in the Greek key scrollwork. This is a gorgeous. Obviously very very old mission style desk. It does not have a brand name on it that I've detected; however, the quality of the wood is obviously that of 100 year old wood in my opinion. It does have a little ding on one side of the top, as evident in the picture of its top. I am not able to ship something this big, 29 1/2" by 49 1/2" and is 30" tall. But if you buy it and come to pick it up and don't like it, I'll return your money. However, once you take it with you, I will no longer refund.

Antique Dinner Chimes (May be Stickley ?) on Stand
Antique Dinner Chimes. I was told. When I purchased these chimes that they were from either the late 1890's or early 1900s and came out of he Fleishmen mansion in Cincinnati. They are used to call your dinner guest to dinner. The chimes are made of Brass with an intrique design. They have a plate across the top which makes the sound as you chime each one. A wonderful novelty for your dining room set. I saw one other in New Jersey in the Tom Edison home that looked just like this one. It stands 30 inches tal, 17 inches long and 10 1/2 inche wide at it widest point and it tapers down. The chimes are graduated in size making a different tone for each size. The stand is made of Mohgany or Cherry wood. Will do local pick up or ship. The arms measure just shy of 40" Wonderful clip corner design to the arms as seen in the pics. The frame and structure of the chair is designed so the seat frame dips towards the back. It makes for a more comfortable sitting position. There are also 4 adjustments for the angle of the back too. The finish is recent as well as the leather cushions. Unique Arts& Crafts furniture accessory.a reproduction of a Gustav Stickley slatted oak and wrought iron wastebasket. Crafted by a local woodworker/ blacksmith. This is as exact a copy as we could make. Great quartersawn oak used throughout on the 12 tapered slats. This is actually a fairly complicated basket to construct. The slats taper in size from 1-7/8" at the bottom to 2-1/2" at the top. The"curved" slats required two sets of cutter knives to be made so as to make the insides of the slats concave and the outsides convex. The bottom was turned on a lathe.it is thicker in the middle than around the edge where it fits into a groove on the inside near the bottom of each slat. The two wrought iron bands are riveted in place w/ 3 rivets per slat. The iron bands were pounded to exactly fit the slope/ angle of the flared ... moreform. With all the components made. It is 40" in diameter and 30" tall. I do not know its maker, but it is obviously of very old, early 20th century wood. I am not able to ship this piece, and offer local pickup only. However, if you buy it and come to pick it up and don't like it, I will refund your money. However, once you move it I will no longer refund. You will need someone to help you move it(I am not able to) Also I am not able to store it for you and it must be picked up within 4 days of purchase. Light stripes on tabletop picture is just that: thin strips of sunlight from my windows; they are not flaws. The table is in the Santa Clarita Valley in the greater Los Angeles area.

antique mission sideboard "arts and crafts" roycroft/stickley style
This is a super gorgeous antique mission style sideboard. I have not detected a brand name on it. But it's obviously extremely old, judging by the wood and glass to be ca. 1915 It has a circular burn on the left side of its top that is 5" in diameter(but which blends in with the color) as well as a faint whiting near that, apparently from some ancient user's error. The wood is quarter sawn white oak. I am not able to ship a piece like this and offer local pickup only; however, if you buy it and come to pick it up but don't like it, I'll refund your money. Be advised, though, that after you take it, I will no longer refund. This is a heavy piece of furniture and you will need help moving it(I am not able to help. Here we have a tiger oak stacking file cabinet made by the WEIS Manufacturing Company of Monroe. Michigan around 1905-1912. During the Stickley/Mission Oak era. Weis was considered one of the top manufacturers of oak office furniture in the USA. Their quality was"Top Of The Line" This Tiger or Quartersawn Oak stacking file has a Mission Oak base. 2 Large Legal files, 2 document files, 2 large card files and a beautiful crown section signed with the"Weis" red decal. Overall measurements are 18" wide. 16" deep and 50 3/4" tall. Amazingly. This treasure comes with FOUR(4) original KEYS allowing you to lock any or all the file compartments!
