This contemporary Stickley wood desk lamp is a reproduction of the Gustav Stickley#506 desk lamp. This lamp is fully stamped with the Stickley mark. The shade has a tilt design to allow you to adjust the light at your desk. It's fully funtional with a single light socket that provides plenty of light without being too bright. The lamp measures 16 3/4" tall. 10" wide and 8" deep. Pre-owned in very good+++ condition!

Stickley Mission Style Antique Reclining Rocking Chair Arts and Crafts Oak
Thank you for inspecting this antique(and VERY comfortable) mission style rocking chair! It is solid. Quarter sawn oak with 4 reclining settings. The reclining set-up is an elegant, patinaed metal rod and 4 hook brace(I believe made of cast iron) The oak frame has 3 repairable flaws. There is a slight crack(1/2” long) in one of the back support slats. In the same section there is a 1” crack in the back by the hinge. By the other back hinge there is a section that has old wood putty filler. These have all been photographed. I could easily fix them but since I am not an expert in antique furniture repair I did not know if my repair would reduce the collectability of this piece and so I thought I’d leave these repairs up to the buyer. It measures 42” tall at the back) 30” wide(at the arms) and 38” long(front to back) It folds down(without cushions) ... moreto 27” tall, 41” long(front to back) and 30” wide. There is a removable. Spring cushioned support that sits on the frame below the seat cushion. The green cushions are serviceable but you may want to some light repair on them or replace them as they have small(1/4” and smaller) thread loops(cat… and a flap cut at the zippered opening. The rich forest green has a background subtle paisley pattern stitched into the cloth upholstery. I really love the antique oak color with these dark green cushions! What I know: This chair was purchased from an antique dealer in Brookfield. MA about 25 years ago by my former wife and has been in my home since. My former wife stated that she paid‘a lot of money’ for it but was too shy to tell me how much-HA! The dealer said it was a very old and valuable piece and(of course) that she was getting a great deal. We’ve sat in it to watch TV, read or even nap countless times. I do not have the space for it in my new apartment so it needs a new home. What I think: It is definitely a Mission Style chair and may actually be a Stickley chair from the Arts and Crafts period but it does not have a signature sticker on it so I can’t s

This authentic Stickley Cherry Twin Bedroom Set has been in our family since purchased by my parents in Wisconsin in 1947. The wood finish is in EXCELLENT Condition for its age with very little wear. The wood frame in both beds are in solid condition. See photos for examples. The set consists of: 2 Single Beds have an inside wood and metal frame measurment of 76" Long by 39" Wide. The headboards are 45" High by 41" Wide at the top of the Spindles The dresser is 37" High by 41" Long and 21" Deep. It has 8 really roomy drawers. The mirror that goes above the dresser on the wall measures 30" Wide by 26" High There is also a little Night Stand Table that stands 27" High with a table top that measures 20" Wide by 16" Deep The current box spring and mattress height from the floor is 26" ... moreMy parents used the set in their Master Bedroom when that was popular in the 50's and 60's. From the 70's. 80's and 90's it was guest bedroom furniture that was used on a very sporadic basis. We moved it to Las Vegas from Minneapolis in 2002 where we have used it in our guest bedroom. Pick Up Only. This is a good antique L& J.G. Stickley Library Table from the early 1900's. Mission and arts and craft period. In good condition. Has a small chip on one of the thru tenons and also some staining on the top. Please see all the pictures. This piece is made of superb quarter sawn oak with all original finish. The legs feature quadrillinear construction. Meaning the leg post have solid quarter sawn oak on all four sides. The legs also are pinned at the top and the top is splined in several places. The original hand hammered pulls are present and the piece is marked with a decal inside the drawer. This is a very attractive and usable table. The frame is quartersawn oak constructed with through tenons and dowels. And retains the original finish. The backrest can be removed. And has later added canvas straps to hold a pillow or cushion. The bed has the original box springs. That was originally covered in muslin or leather, but now is covered in fabric. This is made by L& JG Stickley and is#739. This is not signed ... moreand probably had a paper label. This dates to about 1910. ITEM MEASUREMENTS This measures: 76 1/2 in. long. 29 7/8 in. wide and is 25 5/8 in high. Above photo: removable backrest insert with canvas straps. Above photo shows the backrest removed and off to the right side of photo. THIS ITEMS CONDITION REPORT This old day bed is in fair condition but it could use a little restoration work. The mattress is the original box spring and there is a minor tear in the fabric, also it's missing the cushion for the headrest but other than that the wood work is in great condition, shown in photos. T he wood frame of the backrest insert has shrunk 1/8 inch over time and needs to be slightly trimmed on the edges to fit properly into the backrest area of the bed. Circa 1900- the earliest chalet desk Stickely made and very rare. Note the differences in construction between this example and those made later. For example, in 1902. So this one is definitely for the discerning collector. This is the very desk featured so prominently in David Cathers’ stunning coffee table book. Gustav Stickley(he borrowed this desk for some months for his photography and research) Description excerpted from Cathers’ book: A good example of the“New Furniture” Stickley introduced in 1900 in his“Chalet” desk. The desk’s fall-front is framed with four boards fastened to one another with tongue-in-groove joints and enclosing a slightly raised central panel. When it is closed. The fall-front is held in place by a hand-cut wooden knob that fits into the subtle protrusion of the desk’s upper shelf. When the fall-front is open, ... morethe horizontal line of its cantilever echoes the line of the long, projecting(and inexplicably curvaceous) feet. Three shallow arches are cut into the lower edge of the fall-front. They are faint, though symmetrical hints, perhaps of the Art Nouveau whiplash or the“lift” motif seen on some of Stickley’s other 1900 furniture. The Chalet desk has an awkward charm. And it is irresistible both for what it is and for the promise it makes to the future. It is a daring design that, despite its geometric shapes, seems more biomorphic than mechanical, and looks at first glance perhaps less like a desk than some fantastic bird with talons and spurs on its overlong feet. Yet this small, seemingly frail piece of furniture is clearly a built object: it bristles with tenon-and-key joints and other symbols of structure. antique solid oak mission arts & crafts book shelf case stand stickley limbert
hi here is a beautiful antique solid oak mission arts& crafts book shelf or bookcase stand.i beleive this is from the stickley limbert era.the one shelf is numbered N3933.the stand is made from solid oak with its original patina it has cut out sides and a cut out bottom a very well made stand and very sturdy with round headed screws holding each shelf most of the oak is straight cut just a few quarter sawn pieces.i have seen a few stands in my time but nothing like this one with the cut out sides it may be a early stickley piece but im not sure.the stand is 37 1/4 inches high and it is 18 inches across the front and 8 inches deep the bottom shelf is 3 1/2 inches from the floor and the next shelf is 13 1/2 inches from the floor and the next shelf is 23 1/4 inches from the floor.i went over this stand looking for any cracks or splits and ... morefound none just some minor nicks and scratches.if your looking for a real nice piece of arts& crafts or mission style thats all original this is the one.please make a offer it will be free shipping through ups ground to the lower 48 states and it will be professionally packed for a safe delivery the piece will not be disassembled.if you have any questions please email or call 724-422-5223.thanks.
