Antique Early 19th C Pennsylvania Redware Stoneware Slip Decorated Plate 9 3/4"
We are listing today for your consideration a lovely Antique Early 19th Century Pennsylvania Slip Decorated Redware Plate. A good bit of the slip decoration glaze is missing. You see the curvy lines but most are indented from the missing glaze and you feel the red bisque. The plate has 2 hairline cracks that extend from the front to the back. Both are 100% secure, the plate rings true when you tap it. The back of the plate has 2 very large very shallow chips, we believe they happened during the firing of this plate. You can refer to the pictures. There are no other chips, cracks, and or repairs. We guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the condition of this plate. The plate measures 9 3/4" in diameter x 1 5/8" tall x 4 1/4" at the slightly rounded base and weighs approximately 1lb 11oz. This redware plate dates from ... morethe early 1800's and originates we believe, from SE Pennsylvania. The plate has a very slight ruffled edge. A great Pennsylvania redware plate with slip decoration that would make a great addition to anyone's collection. If you have any questions please email. We will ship via USPS and will insure. Best of luck and thanks.

RARE ANTIQUE 1800'S REDWARE FLASK SHAPE BOTTLE
I JUST FOUND THIS EARLY REDWARE BOTTLE FLASK FORM PIECE OUT OF A REALLY OLD OHIO FARMHOUSE. LOTS OF OLD CRUSTY BUT CLEANABLE DIRT IN THE CREVICES AT THE TOP OF WHERE THE HANDLES ATTATCH. I DIDNT CLEAN THIS AT ALL. THIS IS DEFINATLY FROM THE 1800'S. CRIMPED TOP OF SPOUT HAS SOME VERY OLD MINOR CHIPS. VERY THIN HOLE WHERE THE LIQUID WOULD POUR OUT. NO CRACKS OR REPAIRS. IM UNSURE IF THIS IS AMERICAN OR EUROPEAN BUT IT DEFINATLY IS FROM THE 1800'S. IT IS WHEEL THROWN. SOME KILN KISSES FROM WHEN IT WAS STACKED IN THE KILN AND SOME POT STONE POPS AND A FEW VERY MINOR FLAT GLAZE FLAKES. NOTHING LIFTING EVERYTHING IS VERY STABLE. VERY CRUDELY MADE. IT COULD BE A FRENCH OIL BOTTLE BUT IM UNSURE. IT MEASURES 8 1/4 HIGH BY 4 1/2 AT WIDEST ABOUT 3 3/8 DEEP. IT WEIGHS 1 1/2 POUNDS. THIS IS PERIOD AND NOT A CHEAP PRODUCED RECENT IMPORT. David T. Smith, Turtle Creek Redware Crock & Lid-signed & dated
This is a very large wonderful redware crock and lid with handle from David T. Smith. Redware, Turtle Creek Pottery. The overall measurement of the diameter(including the handle) is approximately 11 1/2" wide. The height if approximately 10 1/2" tall which includes the lid handle. This redware piece is a most unusual shape and has never been used- only for display. The overall piece is very heavy and reflects the quality of work of Christopher Woods from Turtle Creek Pottery. It is signed and dated 1999. There are the usual chips on the outside of the lid, and some bubbling on the inside of the pot from the glazing, but this is part of the process to authenticate the"aged" look of the piece. There are no cracks or breaks in the pot and lid. A superb piece to add to your redware collection. The original price tag of $150.00 ... moreis still on the lid and pot. Comes from a non-smoking home. This will be packed with TLC with lots of bubble wrap and stuffing. Extra shipping charges to Alaska and Hawaii as well as international shipments.

RARE PENNSYLVANIA OVOID REDWARE JUG w MANGANESE DECORATION c. 1800-25 Excellent Condition This is a rare American small ovoid redware jug with interesting manganese decoration. It features a reddish-orange ground with dark manganese dribbles around the upper shoulder with a clear lusterous lead glaze that is still in near perfect condition. The jug is very finely potted by a master potter with good balance and many fine details worked into the clay not commonly found on most early redare pieces. Antique Redware Ceramic Teapot With Lid Circa 1940's
Beautiful and rare. This antique teapot measures 4+ inches at the base, 7 inches from spout to outer handle and 5 inches in height with he handled lid on. This gorgeous dark brown and lacquered square teapot features gilded hand painted details in red, blue, green and white dot pattern colors. Round redware teapots are commonly found but square ones are quite rare. There are no chips, stains, knicks, scratches or discoloration, however some of the gold trim details have worn with age but this is minimal and does not detract from the attractiveness of the piece. There is also some dulling of the lacquer near the handle and spout especially due to handling and use where the lacquer has lost its luster, but the paint remains unfaded. The detachable lid has a cured out tongue at the lip to keep it secure during pouring and has a steam vent to ... morelet hot air and water out. The delicate impression that this unmarked piece makes is amazing and will be a wonderful conversation piece in your home. Posted with

Antique Redware Bowl Pennsylvania Crock Interior Glaze
ANTIQUE REDWARE BOWL CROCK WITH INTERIOR GLAZE This very nice large redware bowl. Belongs to a 94yr old lady that lived in the Cumberland Valley of Pennsylvania and tells me this is redware and it belonged to her grandmother? It measures 4-1/2' tall 9" across top and 5" at the bottom. The bowl features a dark pumpkin color glazed exterior. Incised rim. And a tan crackled interior. Perhaps the best feature of this old bowl is that it is in wonderful condition for its age. No cracks or hairlines but possible crazing or this is just the way it was made. But you can definitely tell it is an antique. In picture you will see a defect but it is not a whole or crack. A wonderful piece of nineteenth century Pennsylvania redware! This auction is offering a very unique Redware bowl this is something I have had for over 5 years now. I found this in the ground sounds crazy but I was at Estate sale and I went into the barn and half of this bowl was sticking out of the ground I pull it out of the ground it was really dirty I still bought it. I paid $45.00 for it I did wash it back then and I never wash it again after that I'm not sure how this is and how the maker is it does have a lot of paint ware and chip and a huge crack which measure 6' long its been sitting above my cabinets all those years and it time to let it goes to the highs bidder the measure 12' 3/8 wide by 3' 7/8 tall this bowl will need insurance and will be package very well so please ask question Thank you.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fvo%7B%3Dd70f%2Bf%60%60%3E-1421289e0b9-0xfc-

Japan Redware Telephone Decanter- Vintage, Barware, Novelty, Empty
Up for auction today I have a very rare telephone decanter. It is Japanese Redware pottery. It stands 7-1/2" tall. 6-1/2" wide and 4" deep. The original hang tag is still attached to the phone cord. There are some slight scuff marks in the black finish. And the numbers on the front look as though they have been repainted. In the center of the dial it says"Dial For A Drink" There is a cork attached to the underside of the handset. The decanter is empty.
