The quilt is entirely made up of different pieced fans that each have an attractive feather stitch embroidery design highlighting them. The one fan in the middle is autographed by each of the women who made the quilt. They are: Ana Gaetzke, Delila Martin, Evva Martin, Emma Martin, May Chase, Anna Perry, Emma Kelley, Lizzie Barman. One of the pieces of silk in the autographed fan has wear. Otherwise the entire rest of the quilt is in excellent condition. Since the black pieces are made of different types of fabrics the color of the blacks does vary.Also, a few of spokes of the fan seem to be mich lighter than others. I can just imagine the ... moreexcitement walking up to a jewelry store window and seeing a beautiful necklace or pin displayed on these beautiful stands. I can combine shipping charges if you win more than one auction. These are from the early part of the 20th century. Some of them are missing their velvet insert but it wouldn't be too difficult to wrap and glue a small piece of velvet around a piece of cardboard and set it inside the ones that are missing theirs. The velvet inserts by the way that ARE included. Are stiff from age, but you could still pin a lovely brooch or earrings to the fabric. The color of the original velvet is a dark burgundy. All of these wood displays are in excellent condition for their age. I see no damage or repairs to any of them other than the missing insert. This one is 4 by 3 3/4 inches and stand about 2 inches tall. It held 5 engagement rings.

28 quilt squares that are 8 x 8 and i am uncertain of the pattern- they are handstitched and the fabrics look to be from the 1930-40s- found at an estate because of some buyers who are abusing the system i am no only taking returns on items that i have made some kind of error- missed a spot- flaw- etc- just changing your mind is not a reason for a return. She was in a lot of the cutest quilt pieces I've ever stumbled across- in a treasure of other Minnie and Mickey Pieces and some other hand painted pieces. The craftsmanship is very nice in my opinion. I'm thinking it was done in the 80's? Composition: The larger base square is a cream/ white linen. The second base square is a woven green and orange stitch pattern. Minnie is composed of pieces of black fabric. Cream, red and white polka dot and floral. Vintage tobacco/cigarette woven/embroidered silk on mesh/lace" background: pink flower. These"silks" were given away by tobacco companies in the early 1900s and used in crazy quilts. Pillows, etc. This style of silk has the flower embroidered onto a background fabric(the background fabric is a stiff mesh that is referred to as"lace" but does not look like a traditional lace, more of a woven netting) Entire fabric piece measures apx. 1 1/2 x 2 inches. Antique DOLL Quilt 14.5" x 14.5" Hand Pieced Machine Quilted Star Pattern
This is an honest doll quilt. I believe. It is about 14.5" x 14.5" It is hand pieced and machine quilted. The pale yellow binding was hand applied. And is original to the quilt. The quilting was done is such a way(red thread in the bobbin. White on top) that the quilting is red on the back, and(mostly) white on the front. The red shows through the top, but is not as clearly delineated as the back. The batting is visible if the quilt is held up to the light. It has separated with time. The quilt is thin. There are stains. There is an area on the back where the binding is loose. This is not a precisely pieced. Or quilted quilt, but is wonderful! Thanks for your interest. This is an amazing Crazy Quilt in dark suiting colors of the era with turkey track stitching and 1912 stitched within upper body of quilt. Back side is of grey striped flannel material which has been tied to top. Bottom border is the same as the back side material. Size 75 x 78 inches. Very heavy quilt- weighs about 10 pounds. Antique Crazy Quilt Velvet Embroidery Satin Silk Hand Stitch Large Tapestry
A lovely labor intensive piece of art is what I call it. Based on the paperwork found at the estate and many of the other items collected. This piece's labor of work spans over many many years. It dates back to the civil war era and sadly this lady had no one to leave it to. No children or grandchildren. It is absolutely magnificent and to my surprise. Every time I open it, I see something new. It would look amazingly lovely on a wall somewhere, like my 6 year old said, Mama that's a beautiful blanket. I said yes it is, she said SUPER beautiful, I have to agree. If I described every block in this piece. I'd sit hit for a year. Everything you could think of is on it. Embroidery, Cross Stitch, velvet, silk, satin, raised entwined fabric ad floral motif. It truly depicts an entire few decades if not more. It does show age. I would ... morenot call it damaged because nothing is immediately visible, but you can tell the fabric is extremely extremely old and should be cared for accordingly. the back is lined with a red satin stitched fabric for protection. It measures 59" x 75" I hope it will end up with someone that appreciates it truly and honors this lady's hard work. With triplets in my home it would be destroyed rather than honored. Antique 1930s Era Lap Size Patch Quilt Hand Sewn from the Carolinas
This is a very heavy lap size quilt. It is handmade and was heavily used by 3 generations. The fabric is a heavy material similar to bark cloth and other heavy pieces and I see one stain that I don't know if it can be removed. It has been washed a lot and is very faded. A few of the seams have come apart but that should be an easy repair for anyone who can sew a straight line. This is such an iconic piece of folk art and will really be cherished by a collector. I am have a hard time parting with it myself and I purchased it for resale.

This baby quilt top has 12 embroidered motifs with various animals. From farm yard to circus. Very unique patterns from an earlier era. The embroidered blocks are put together with blue and pink. The POT is a GREEN and WHITE HOMESPUN CHECK cotton print with a solid PINK accent. The 3.5" to 4" flower and circles are an assortment of 3 lovely 1930's cotton prints in assorted colors. The background is unbleached muslin. All fabrics are crisp. Never laundered, and the quilt block has an aged patina on the edges(see pix#11) which may brighten up with a good soak. No major spots, stains, holes, or loose seams. See the last pix for a close-up of the back. Terrific condition. Expertly HAND-stitched and appliqued throughout with tiny even stitches. That is all hand stitched, and hand quilted, quilted in fan pattern measuring 66" x 73" with each block measuring 10 1/2" x 11" Quilt is made from early cotton fabrics of feedsack, shirting, gingham, calico. Yellow calico fabric that borders each block has small blue umbrellas on it. Backing is cream color cotton sack cloth. Nice soft comfy feeling quilt. Great colors of red, blue, cream, pink, green, yellow, brown, and lavender. Quilt has a couple of loose seams, and has a couple of areas which have already been re-stitched, quilt is in nice condition all but these minor repairs. Curling Ribbons Lap Quilt Top Jewel Tone Colors - Pretty
This lap size quilt top is really pretty- made from jewel tone scrappy fabrics on white in the curling ribbons pattern. The blocks are 8" each set 6 by 7 rows.
