Really Old RED WHITE & BLUE Hand Sewn All Cotton STAR Quilt, Excellent Condition
The quilt measures approximately 82" by 72" The bed in the photos is a queen size. 80" by 60" and the quilt fits, but a bit small. It would fit better a bed size full, we believe. This is a very old. Classic red, white and blue quilt in excellent condition, with practically no flaws, all sewn by hand, only 100% cotton fabrics used, with the peculiarity that of the two fabrics used for the white parts, one of them has tiny stars printed in it. Please check one of our super close-ups below to see this detail. The batting is of course 100% cotton. The main problem with this quilt is the fraying of the binding. We believe, and that doesn't seem a difficult problem to take care of. But even as is, with the frayed binding and all, the quilt can be used, as you'll appreciate while seeing our photos. The pattern is obviously ... morea"star pattern" But we don't know exactly its name. There is no pattern exactly like this in our"dictionary" of quilts.

Victorian crazy quilt. 175 cm x 220 cm. Fine dress fabrics. Exceptionally good.
Photographed is the most beautiful Victorian quilt made from a wonderful selection of fine dress fabrics. The style is unusual with a central panel of diamond quilt with surrounding larger pieces sewn together in crazy quilt style using Herring bone stitch in orange silk. The fabrics used are remarkable; fine silks. Velvets and satin brocades from many beautiful garments- a real treat for anyone interested in antique textiles. All of the fabrics are lovely, I imagine that it may have been made by someone who was given the cast off fabric fragments of a very rich family, nothing went to waste- some of the examples will be far earlier than the quilt. The photographs do not do it justice, it was too bright in the room and the richness of the colours does not translate as well as I would like. The entire piece is trimmed- mostly with a really ... morenice pink silk with black diamonds; it is lined with thick, off white cotton. The entire piece measures 175 cm by 219 cm(about 6 foot by 7 foot) There are a couple of marks, I have not had this dry cleaned- it is quite fresh. There is some deterioration to one or two pieces of patchwork- but not too much, the condition is basically remarkable for a piece that is well over 100 years old. This will be a real find for the right person- I purchased it from a man who lives in South Wales and sells vintage clothes. I am happy to answer any questions as quickly as possible. Thank you.

A very pretty hand stitched Durham quilt dating to around 1910. It is a beautiful faded sky blue and white- the front has a 34cm deep. Sky blue border with a white centre, and the reverse is white. It is a large, summer weight quilt with intricate hand stitched ... morescrolling patterns and a central motif. The body of the quilt is in excellent condition, with just some feathering and wear to the edges(last images) You could easily bind the edges in a contrasting or matching colour to suit your own interior. It is freshly laundered and snowy white, with a couple of tiny marks remaining(last images) Measuring 236cm x 210cm, it weighs just over 2kgs, so shipping to international destinations will be expensive. 8 UNIQUE HEXAGON ANTIQUE QUILT BLOCKS
These blocks consist of triangular pieces sewn together into a unique hexagon shape. They are all hand sewn. Fabric is early 1900's. There are 4 using wonderful yellow-orange prints with black and brown prints, 2 with double pink prints, and 2 brown and tan. All in pristine unused condition. Would make a wonderful table runner or wall hanging. Measure 9" point to point and 8" across flat edges. Note: centers do not lie flat, may need some tweaking to correct.

This is a beautiful quilt. 70" x 89" in size. The front has jonquils and green leaves appliqued onto a white background. They are very nicely appliqued and embroidered. The backside is floral print. It has a green band around the edge and green sashes. The posts are yellow. The white part is densely hand quilted in small squares. Flower shapes are quilted on the yellow posts. The green band is quilted in a swirl pattern. Along one edge the green looks a little bit lighter in color. I don't know if the fabric came this way or if it is faded but it is not real noticeable. This auction is for a beautiful quilt. This quilt is used but in excellent condition it has always been hung on a quilt rack on the wall. This quilt had a lot of tans. And burgundys in it and the back is plaid. All of the edges are scalloped. This is a beautiful blanket.

Vintage Hand Quilted Throw/Twin Quilt 73" x 55" White, Yellow, Green, Pink
This is a vintage quilt that has been well loved and is still in good condition 3" floral squares machine stitched together. Polyester batting fill, white cotton fabric backing Quilting is hand stitched. There are a few small areas of hand quilting that have come undone. I did not restitch, as I felt that it added to the vintage effect. Size is 73" x 55" Ideal as a throw. Also big enough for a twin bed. Colors are white. Yellow, green, and lavendar/pink Nice pattern as you can see in the photos. This quilt has had some seams hand stitched back together. The biggest repair was about 3" there are not any worn spots on the fabric itself front or back. On the back there are 2 small round rust color stains on one side about the size of a pencil eraser. There is another very pale yellow stain on the back that is about 3" ... morediameter. None of the stains go through to the front of quilt. Please see photos 7 and 8. The larger stain in photo 7 appears darker in the photo than it actually is.

Here is a set of 18 quilt blocks. Machine pieced in what I think is a cotton/ polyester blend. Blocks have an alternate piecing pattern in a solid brown and a tan with brown and white flowers. The floral pattern is a large print and some of these patches are a solid light brown. This pattern is a sixteen patch composed of 16 separate approximately 3" squares. Blocks are approximately 11 1/4" 11 1/2" square. They are clean with no offensive odors. I have more quilt blocks listed. So please check my other items. Quilt Blocks Japanese Fan Pieced Applique Pink Blue Feedsack Vintage Fabrics
Here is the beginning of a Japanese Fan Quilt project. The Japanese Fan pattern is composed of eight pointed blades and would generally be entirely pieced. However. The original stitcher has decided to applique the fans on backgrounds of pink and blue fabric rather than piece curves. This pattern was printed by Capper's Weekly, August 27, 1932. Included in this item are three each of the pink and blue background squares with basted fans. One of the blue squares does not have the fan basted. In addition. There are three other loose fans. These background squares are not uniform in size, but measure around 9" to 10" square. The fans are approximately 10" across at their widest point. There is also some extra blue fabric and a small piece of pink. I do not think there is enough of the blue to complete the project. Fabrics ... moreare clean with no offensive odors. Quilt Blocks Four Patch Cadet Blue w/ Stripe Vintage Fabric 1880 1910 Civil War
Here is a group of nine quilt blocks in the Four Patch pattern. These blocks are machine stitched in what I believe are cadet blue prints with a white stripe similar to a shirting print prevalent during the 1880- 1910 time period. All blocks have a stripe fabric. Please note the stripes are different and some of the patches are pieced. Blocks are approximately 6 1/2" square and are not in need of any repair. One block has a brown line on the muslin piece. Small Wood Quilt Rack for Doll Blankets or Baby Blankets 12" wide, 12" tall
I was attracted to this because of its size.what is it used for.a baby blanket. A baby doll blanket, a wet kitchen towel/dish rag dryer, a wet wash cloth dryer.hmmmmmm I suppose it could be used for all of that. It is 12" tall and about 12" wide. and 3 1/2" deep. The bottom rod is loose on one end and needs a drop of glue, although it is really ok without it as it does not come apart or anything. The heart cutouts at the bottom of each side are painted a reddish color. It is in good condition and cutel as a button.I hope someone can use it! Thanks for looking:
