I'm guessing it was made by Imperial Furniture Co. Sturdy. Excellent refinished condition. Small chipping to the outside of one of the feet. Excellent refinished condition.sturdy and solid.no looseness. New upholstery.leather cover w/ corded edges and bullnosed front. Cushion is cushy yet supportive. Size: 41-3/4" tall. 25-3/4" wide across the arms, 21-3/8" deep measured at the arms(front of arm to back side of rear post) arm height is 26" seat height is 19" It weighs just over 30 lbs. This is a medium sized chair that has a relatively tall back. The bench likely did it's service in a bank or urban train station in the first quarter of the 20th century. There are 31 spindles across the back. Antique Mission Oak Arm Chair Arts & Crafts-- final listing -- lowest price
I have an antique chair that I believe dates from the first quarter of the 1900's. Solid oak, with swirled arms, rattan sides and arts and crafts stylized legs. It was purchased by my husband about 25 years ago. Overall it is in great shape for age. It can use a tiny bit of touch up on the wood where there are a few exposed wood spots. A small piece of the rattan side is deteriorated, as shown in the close up photo. Also, the cushions need new foam to prevent sagging, and new upholstery if the current choice is not to your style. The springs that hold the cushion seem to work fine. This is a very solid chair. Nothing is loose, and for most of the chair the original finish is intact. Unusual and lovely find. Antique wall coat and hat rack. It is an original. And not very common; even the single ones are becoming rare. Beautiful. Long, iron stylized hooks on the top tier; I believe these were for gentlemen's hats. Large in size- 33" long- a real show piece. The wood is oak and as the original finish on it. The hooks can be folded over out of the way when not in use. There originally were 5 long on the top. But one must have been lost, so a bottom one was moved up. I did not notice at first, and then thought it was for a corner wall, but no, there is one missing from the bottom. Rack is approximately 33 by 7" wide in measurements. ANTIQUE OAK MISSION CRAFTSMAN DRESSER WITH MIRROR
This is a wonderful antique mission/craftsman oak dresser with mirror for sale. Original wooden roller feet. And mirror is original. Since this is an old piece, the mirror has expected aging to the silvering. Overall the piece is solid and in good condition for its age with only minor scratches to the finish. The drawers open and close and piece is very sturdy. One minor issue with one side of the piece. Near the bottom of the dresser on the right side(as you face the dresser) are a few minor nicks where the original wood has chipped away. Instead of trying to match a stain to the piece, that area was left alone. Also, that same area has a slight bow in the veneer- which is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. Child's Oak Mission Arts & Crafts Rocker Rocking Chair Slat Seat c 1910-1920
Normal 0 A child's rocker built in the early 1900's. In the era of arts and crafts/ mission. Although unmarked. The construction is similar to that produced by companies such as Stickley, Roycroft, Heywood and Limbert. Constructed of oak. The patina is a wonderful dark color. And the finish on the sides of the arms has worn down to the original wood. There are four decorative slats across the back. The seat is made of 11 1" slats. It is in wonderful vintage condition with some scratches. Scuffs, marks and other signs of use. One slat in the seat is broken and seems to have been repaired when the chair was fairly new. One screw in the back is missing. MEASURES The chair is 22" tall and 16" wide. The seat is 11" deep and 13 1/2" wide. Please look carefully at the photos. There is all over wear as you would expect with a chair this old but overall it is in very good condition and ready to use. The leather seat looks original and is attached with the iconic metal"rivets"furniture nails. I am selling 3 of these chairs separately but they were all found together at an estate sale. Only 1 was marked and it has only a partial label that says"Port Washington" This leads me to think the maker was the Wisconsin Chair Company. Check out my! Antique mission quarter sawn oak sideboard-server
This mission sideboard is very sturdy and has been recently refinished. The top has been replaced with a solid piece of quarter sawed oak to match the rest of the piece. The bevel glass mirror has been stripped off and a new mirror installed behind the bevel to give it a look of authenticity.
