Mission Oak Arts & Crafts Style Round Hall Table or Stand with Heavy Marble Top
Description: Here is a great table that came from a local moving sale. The woman said it first belonged to he grandmother and then her mother before she got it from her in the mid-1970s. She said she always remembered it standing in the corner of her gram’s front parlor ever since she was a little girl and was now in her late 60’s. When I first looked at the stand and the wooden top I would have guessed that it did not start out life with a marble top but the woman said they had always been together as far as she knew. I love the color and patina of the stand and even took a picture of the wooden top. There is a separation of the two top boards that does not go all the way through. Maybe this was why it had a marble top? Please look at all my photos to judge color and condition for yourself. The top without the marble measures about 18” in ... morediameter. With the marble it measures about 20” in diameter. The marble is an impressive piece that is 20” in diameter and about 3/4" thick. This piece of marble weighs around 26 1/2" by itself which helps drive up the shipping costs of this stand. The table stands around 30” tall with the top on and the base measures around 13” X 13” at the feet. I will pack it carefully to ship but to save some on shipping the top and base will be boxed and shipped separately. As I said before the top drives up the cost of shipping and if it is sent to an address closer to me I will send a partial refund of the shipping. Plus an arts and crafts coffee table, sofa table and end table(also listed) are magnificent. SOLID OAK.and I mean solid for they are quite heavy.with cedar lined cabinets and drawers, the craftsmanship is over the moon. This piece measures 71" L x 36" H x 18 1/2" D. It has three 19" drawers across the tope and three 18 1/4" drawers going down the middle of the cabinet. All drawers are beautifully dovetailed, the finish is unmarked and unblemished. Antique Mission era oak card catalog. It is probably Weis. This is a 2 piece stacking unit. More pieces could probably be added. It has great patina with a dark oak finish. It would be lovely refinished. The cards drawers are wood and slide easily with no breaks. The unit does show some age cracks on the side and is actually missing some wood- see pictures. Very solid and heavy. Check the pictures. The drawers are just over 6" across and just over 4" tall so it was made to fit the 4x6" index cards. The entire unit measure 13.5" tall. 15" deep, 10" tall. Mission oak Limbert desk library table arts & crafts Stickley era
Offered for sale is a beautiful desk or library table made by Charles Limbert ca. 1910. It is model#1162 and it measures 48"w x 30"d x 29 1/4"h. Constructed of gorgeous quartersawn oak. The desk is sturdy, strong, and heavy with no loose joints. Condition is excellent with what appears to be the original finish with an old overcoat. There are several knicks and scratches consistent with the age of the piece; I have pictured the worst one.a slightly damaged corner of one of the legs. The top is VERY clean with only minor wear, amazing considering its age. Circa 1894 Gustav Becker 8 Day Time and Strike Mantel or Wall Clock. Solid oak round top Arts and Crafts or Mission style case, can be displayed on the mantel or hung on the wall. Dial pan was turned from a solid piece of wood and given a metal backing plate. This is an open face clock! There is no glass in the face, no evidence of there ever having been one. No one I've talked to has ever seen one like this; it may have been special order. Almost 22" tall. Recently given new lacquer. Has run for me for weeks; keeps good time. Clock is a bit finicky getting going at a new location but once it's happy it performs nicely. Pendulum rod has an incorrect adjusting nut at the end. Very clean in and out but has age and is not perfect. Movement hasn't been properly serviced in quite a while. This set has suited a family quite well. But is now become larger than needed. The fabric is original to the set, no tears, and can be easily removed for gentle cleaning, or changed completely, but has been covered with heavy, clear vinyl sheeting. The finish has some minor wear, being near 50 yso. that can easily be touched up with wood stain, or completely refinished or updated with paint. There are repairs made to the leg joins of the chairs, as some of the old adhesive dried and loosened the runners. After all, it is about fifty years old. However it is still Very Sturdy, and Very useful. Just needs a large enough family to make good use of it again. Set includes: two arm chairs, four side chairs, three leaves, one table. Vintage Men's Oak Wood Domed Trunk Jewelry Box Mission Style c1920-1950
This is a wonderful vintage men's jewelry box. It really has a'Mission' feel to it. It is trimmed in leather.or at least it looks like leather.and trimmed in hammered brass tacks or'brads' Comes from a local estate and I feel it is from the 1930-40's. It is a very sturdy and well made piece. A true Arts& Crafts piece. There is a drawer that lays in the top and comes out. And it is all trimmed in dark green velvet. Inside the cover is a band for putting tie bars or tie clips on. The top section is divided into 6 sections. There is one large compartment in the bottom. There is a functional lock, but I don't have the key. The color is darker than it appears in the pics.the pics look kind of green. The stain is more a dark walnut.in fact it may be walnut.just not that good on wood IDs. There are some scratches ... morein the wood.one on the top towards the front. One in the back towards the bottom.and one on the removable drawer.on both sides. No cracks or chips in the wood. No tears in the'leather' It is very dusty and needs a good interior cleaning. There is a stamp mark on the bottom, but I just can't make it out. I THINK it is Polish or Czech or Russian or Spanish.actually the family were Portuguese.so Portugal? The is a misson lawyers bookcase from Globe Wernicke. Label says 898 mission oak finish and each of the 4 sections are labeled. I think the finish is fumed oak and is a lovely mission look. 55 inches tall. 11 inches deep and 34 inches wide. 4 sections with a seperate top and bottom. Bottom has a nice drawer. Original finish. Original antique wavy glass. All doors open nicely and have all inside door mechanisms. All hardware is original except for 2 knobs which were replaced at some poit. Very nice and heavy antique oak magazine rack(a bit on the masculine side) As above mentioned. The flash emphasizes more of a contrast in a small area of the oak than actually exists. look at all photos. It is solid, has an aged patina and should last another 80 years. It measures 18-1/4" high at its sides, is 9-1/2" front to back at its base. I do not see any screws or nails so assume it is doweled together.

This is a rare Globe Wernicke tiger oak cabinet. It has 12 drawers. Eleven of the twelve drawers have a metal bracket to hold a label. This cabinet has a tambor to conceal the drawers. There is a lock. But I do not have the key. A skeleton key may fit. I haven't checked. The cabinet has an oigee top and base. The back of the cabinet appears to be made of pine. I have a truly massive. Unusual Arts and Crafts knockdown settle for sale. This settle is a rare, enormous beast of a piece of furniture. Measurements are: 86" long, 33" deep, and 36.5" tall(without casters) Wood thicknesses are incredible, even the unusual leg veneer is 1/4" average wood thicknesses are 1"1.25" All solid wood, except for the thick veneering on the legs. The bench seat is a replacement, with 8-way hand tied springs. All the upholstery is leather in perfect condition. The leather alone cost over $1500 on this piece, and looks beautiful. Wood is all beautiful quartersawn oak with original finish. The only problems to note: the front right leg has some veneer chipping on the corner. Please see the photo. THIS AUCTION IS FOR A SET OF FOUR ANTIQUE OAK TABLE LEGS. EACH LEG HAS A 3/8" BOLT ON THE END. THE LEGS ARE 27 5/8" LONG(NOT COUNTING THE BOLT) AND THEY TAPER FROM THE TOP AT 1 3/4" TO THE BOTTOM AT 1 1/4" THEY HAVE NORMAL WEAR FROM AGE BUT ARE VERY SOLID.

The measurements for the image area for the art are 13” wide by 10” high. The outer edges measure roughly 18 ½” by 15 ¼” The width of the oak is just under 3” wide, and just under an inch deep. The oak is in great shape, some light wear along the outer edges, no dents, frame is firm and straight, and ready for art. Winning bidder is responsible for shipping and insurance. Insurance will be added to the invoice as a minimal handling fee. Items of age usually have some condition issues which I try to carefully describe and photograph.
