The lower portion of the neck possesses a circumferential display of human figures, believed to represent the deceased’s family or ancestors. Above the ring of figures wrapping around the circumference of the neck is a depiction of a dragon. With respect to this particular specimen, the glaze shows some minor oxidation(decomposition) due to caustic alkalinity of soil in which it was buried. Though the majority of the glaze remains intact. Glossy, and smooth to touch, there are a few lightly oxidized patches where the glaze is a bit rough and chalky to the touch. VERY FINELY CARVED OAK GOTHIC MEDIEVAL TRACERY PANEL 15th Century
A very finely carved 15th Century gothic tracery fragment. Although much more than a fragment. The upright pillars are carved in a manor I have personally not seen before. I feel they are almost a representation of the pre gothic form. The top portion is pure perpendicular Gothic. I call it a fragment as there was probably more ribs and decoration between the upright pillars and in the central arch that are now lacking. For its very fine detail it is quite a small panel measuring only 7 x 14 1/2 inches 18 x 37 cm. Possibly English or Northern France circa 1480 It was found nailed to another panel in a Victorian piece. The applied ribs on the front are 19th century.

Saint Francis of Assisi( founded the Order or"Friars Minor" size 115 mm x 115 mm weight– 436.10 gr(15.38 oz) metal– bronze. Old authentic patina Francis was born. To Pietro di Bernardone, a prominent businessman, and his wife Pica Bourlemont, about whom little is known except that she was originally from France. He was one of several children. Pietro was in France on business ... morewhen Francis was born. And Pica had him baptized as Giovanni di Bernardone in honour of Saint. In the hope he would grow to be a great religious leader. Here is a Medieval knights and dragons chess set. This chess set measures 17 X 17 X 2-3/4 inches it is made of heavy resin or soapstone? for the base and the playing pieces are resin. I am listing this as used because it was used one time to play chess.The chess set is in excellent condition from what I can see, the chess board has some minor fading on 2 squares that you can only see if you angle the board in light and is no problem. Otherwise it looks like new. This is a very heavy set so it must be packed well and I will do that for the winning buyer. Any questions? please let me know.
