Up for auction is a Rare large Antique 19th Century Iron Whaler's oil lantern Open Spherical form with compensating balance Circa 1800- 1900 It measures 12 1/2" high x12" in diameter middle Fuelled by Whale oil Iron band around the center with rivited iron bars The hinge is rusted and I was unable to open it- I have not taken this lamp apart as not to break it The lamp has two tubes for the wicks and filling the bowl. Its in pretty good condition considering the age with just some monor tarnish on the solid brass base and a little on the top. Iam sure with the right materials and cleaner it will clean right up. This is the perfect lamp for that Nautical room or a great addition for any collector. The lamp itself is made of glass and I just wondered how they painted this from the inside. There are some dirt and some stains but you can get access to the inside to clean it. I will leave the cleaning up to its new owner. This is a nice old solid chrome antique ships lamp. This lamp has 2 light sockets each with a switch.The lower light shines through the green and red glass shades. The red shade does have a minor crack. The lamp mis about 10 inches high and the wood base measures about 5 x 5 x 1 1/2 inch thick. Light works fine and has normal age wear. Very Rare Crown Devon Fieldings John Peel Lamp with Original Shade
Very Rare John Peel Lamp with original shade by Crown Devon Fieldings Made in England Rd No 796688 C1940 Dedicated to the 19th century huntsman John Peel 1776-1854 Lamp base: Perfect condition no chips. Cracks or crazing depicting hunting scenes in keeping with the well known verse. Which is also written on the lamp. Shade: Hand painted All original. Metal framed shade with original covering. Braid has in places become unwound, not a hard job to fix. Ivory coloured shade depicting hunting themes As the last photo shows. One panel of the cellulous shade has a split, I've never found this a problem as I had the lamp displayed with this panel to the rear. Perhaps a subtle repair with tape could fix this if required. The base measures 10" high including bulb holder. Max dia 7" Buyer may collect. Very fragile item. I'm sorry ... moreif the postage appears a little high but last year the Post office substantially raised their fees, and have just done so again. Because of the fragility of the shade I shall send this in two parcels to prevent damage. Vintage FLY FISHING LAMP
You are bidding on a hand made fly fishermans lamp that I built several years ago. I built it when I broke the last tip on my bamboo rod and didn't want to retire it.The book and the base is cut and carved from a solid cherry tree that lightning decided to take down one summer. The creel and net is pretty old. But not as old as the Bamboo rod and old reel. As you can see in the picture they look new. The lamp has a 3 way switch and the cord is pretty long. I would be afraid to ship the shade as it would cost more than you could buy one for. I've had this in my office since I built it and now it's time to let someone else enjoy it as I have no one left here that would truly appreciate and care for it. The cherry wood makes it very heavy and the UPS store said it would take about $37 to ship it ground. Thanks for looking

This attractive brass trench art artillery shell lamp is in excellent shape. It has been rewired with a new lamp socket and cord. The design is roses in full bloom and the field(background) is stippled. The design is well executed and shows good depth and definition. The base is made of solid mahogany and has a great look to it.There is no damage whatsoever. It is mounted securely to a wood base that measures 13 ½” in diameter. It is approx. 31 ½” from the bottom of the base to the top of the light bulb socket. The harp is included. But no shade. Beautiful Egyptian Marble Night Light. Unique Onyx Lamp from Egypt Tan/ Yellow Description. Up for your consideration is this very beautiful onyx Night Light from Egypt. The light makes such a beautiful glow through the marble. Purchased in Egypt many years ago. This lamp stands 13.5" tall. It is 4" across at the widest point. There are three sections to the lamp. The upper section screws completely off which allows the light bulb to be replaced when needed. Then the main lamp section also screws apart- but they don't come completely apart because of the electric cord running through. I noticed that the lower part of the section that screws in has a chip on the inside section. It absolutely cannot be seen when the lamp is assembled. There isn't anything broken or chipped on the lamp of the parts that can be seen. One other ... morething I noticed is that the bulb is wired directly to the wire. There isn't a socket it screws into. The on/off knob does not move. I don't know if it was ever intended to be used but rather just for looks. But at this point of time. It does not move or work. The lamp can be turned on and off by unplugging it. Or, some homes have an outlet that is tied to a on/off switch near the door, and if so, then that's an easy way to switch it on and off. Art Deco 1930's Modernistic Chrome Nude Lady Lamp - Frankart Era
Here's a stunning Art Deco modernistic chrome nude lady mood lamp from San Francisco Estate. Circa 1930. Also known as the"Car Mascot" This fabulous nude lady was patterned after a hood ornament. According to the Collector's Guide to Art Deco Guide dated 1997, by Mary Frank Gaston, on Page#148(see picture#12) She is absolutely exquisite! This deco lady is in a classic pose with one leg stretched behind her, and other leg bent in front. She has both arms above her head, and she is holding up a round bubble disk between her hands. This deco lady is made of some kind of metal with a chrome finish- a magnet will not stick to her. The round disc is made of plastic, and the color is white. The base is made of metal painted black, and the shape is oval. There is black felt on the bottom of the base. The light socket is attached ... moreto the lady's arm, and the lady is attached to the base by screws. The overall measurement is 12" long, 4-3/4" wide, and 11-1/2" tall. The disc measures 5-1/2" wide and 1/4" thick. It fits nicely in the two slots on the inside of the lady's hands(see picture) There are no signatures or manufacture marks that we could find, but she is quality. The condition is amazingly very good- shows wear but no chips, breaks, pitting, dents, cracks, or repairs. The lamp has been rewired for safety, and works great. The estimated value was $450.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $149.00. This fabulous deco lady lamp came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. NO makers mark, very possibly by Miller. The flowers on the column ... moreare painted. And the 6 petal socket holders were originally painted green. Most of the paint is worn off but still visible in a few spots. There are a total of 18 spear shaped crystal prisms on the lamp. 6 per arm. Some chipping on the tips of the prisms, and a few are a slightly different size but hard to notice. This lamp came with a pressed glass insert. I do not know if this was originally part of the lamp or if someone just added it to the lamp, this insert is included with the lamp. Lamp does work. The original cloth wire is still in place on the inside of the lamp, but part of this was re-wired at some point(see photo) As with any old electric item this should be checked out by an electrician before using. Assembled. It measures about 3 5/8" tall. The top has had a semicircular piece broken out and glued back quite neatly. Repair is nearly invisible from the exterior, somewhat more apparent on interior. In the middle of this semicircular area on the interior is a what appears to be a flake that was glued back but is not quite flush(see photos) On the exterior of the top there is a small smooth indent that appears to be a minor irregularity in the making(see second photo) The base is in excellent condition with just a few flecks to sharp inside edge. Up for auction is a Vintage Shawnee Pottery Black Americana Blackamoor Figural Table Lamp. This lamp head has a green turban and green base. The face is black with gold accents and very bright red lips. Unmarked but manufactured by Shawnee Pottery during the 1950s. This lamp shows a bulb in the first picture but it did not light when I plugged it in so it will need to be rewired. The bulb will not come with the lamp. No felt on the base bottom. This is a wonderful Black Americana collectible as well as a retro table lamp. Measurements: 10 1/2" tall to top of socket. 8" tall to top of turban. Base is 3 5/8" in diameter. Condition: No chips. Flakes, hairlines or repairs. Needs to be rewired. No felt on bottom. Gold looks good with very minor wear but upon inspection the right earring looks like it was sprayed with the black paint ... moreat the back or the gold did not cover the earring, picture 8. VINTAGE VENETIAN BLUE WEDDING CAKE LAMP WORK ROSE GLASS BEAD LINK NECKLACE
A very nice old glass bead necklace with charming blue Venetian wedding cake glass beads set onto old gilt chain links. These are old beads being both disc and round shaped beads. There s a drop bead which does not quite match the rest being a slightly different blue colour but it is an old bead from the same era. The long beads measure just over 1/2 and inch in length with the disc beads measuring 3/8ths of an inch across. The necklace measures 18 inches in length and is finished with a gilt shepherd's crook clasp. This is in good condition with just some light wear to the gilt trailing on some of the beads. It is grey in color, has a red on button and a black off button. It has a combined overall length of 39" and the shade is 18" long 4" wide. Wonderful crimped"Daisy& Button" EAPG shade made for a gas lamp by several companies in the 1880's. The glass is very clear and sparkling and has a 4" fitter opening. Is 4 1/2" tall and the widest point is 10" The body of the shade is in excellent condition but the fitter opening has some damage(can be seen in picture) that would not show once the shade is installed. The flake is about 1/2" long and there are a few rough places on the inside rim of the fitter opening.
