Bought in 2001 at a trendy furniture store in Manhattan. This table was sold to me as a copy of a Eero Saarinen 42" table from the Tulip COllection for Knoll. I paid $ 500 for it then, used it as a dining/ all round table for my 3 Downtown apartments and don't want to take it over to Europe. It is in good solid shape, has chip marks on the side of the table top and on the pedestal foot. It has a small ball point mark on top( 3/4 inch) which can be taken away with the right product. This table is 42 inches wide and 28 inches high. The diameter of the is 21 inches. It is decorated with white pansies with purple throats and a gold art nouveau design at the top rim and bottom front of the vase. The top rim is swirled ribbon with open holes. Set of matching Bertoia for Knoll diamond wire chairs from a local estate. They are in good condition. With no structural damage on the wire frame or legs, but they could use repainting. The olive green covers are original and show some wear. The foam cushioning has deteriorated and become stiff, and will need to be replaced. The covers have a drawstring to hold them on the chair, and one chair will need a replacement string. The dimensions 31 inches tall, and 33 inches at the widest point. Very nice vintage B&B Italia Alanda sofa. Designed by Paolo Piva and made in Italy in the 1980's. Labeled. Purchased from the original owners, the leather was regularly maintained and conditioned. The matching chair is available in a separate listing, see last photos. It is Ivory leather throughout. The sofa is very strong, no structural issues. The armrest and headrest hinges work as they should. The leather and the cushions are soft and pliable, very comfortable and ready for a new home. The ivory leather shows superficial scratches, mostly on the seat. The leather has no loose seems or tears, it is soft and clean, with no stains or discoloration. Dimensions are 83 long x 41 deep x 29 high with the armrests and headrests in the down position. Shipping is the buyers responsibility, please contact Plycon or Uship for a quote.
