A Chinese imari porcelain beaker cup of double walled form. The outer skin being pierced with chrysanthemum motifs, and with windows through to the fish design on the inner cup(Please see the photos) I n presentable condition but damaged. There is a long hairline crack which runs from the top of one window. Over the edge, then down the inner cup to the bottom of the cup where it hooks back up to form an elongated J. There is also another, short line across the bottom of the inner cup, but this does not show through to the base. Antique Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Vase with Kangxi Double Ring Mark
Very beautiful. Believed to be 19th century or much earlier Qing Kangxi period, Chinese blue and white porcelain vase or ginger jar. Interior and underside glazed white. There is a beautiful scene painted on the jar, with two mothers with their 2 kids playing and on the back there is a painting, I think, of butterfly. Underside of the jar has Kanagxi double concentric rings mark. The item is in perfect condition. No cracks, no chips and no other damages. No repair. Inside the jar there is some brown spots and some rust due to age. There is a few brown spots on the outside. Thank you. On 13-Dec-13 at 08:28:01 EST. The Vase is a very interesting and very rarely found Kangxi period piece. The Vase has a bold period design with both honeycomb pierced and double walled features. I am told to achieve this was very time consuming. And extremely hard to kiln as the period, so not many examples like this compared to other designs were made. The Vase also has a beautiful faceted form, and nice molded porcelain features to the base and top neck, exactly what should be seen on a legitimate Kangxi example. I believe the top rim may have some restoration which can only be noticed upon very close inspection, and is most likely glaze frets which was a very common issue at the time. The Vase is otherwise in fine original condition with no cracks, or repairs. The Vase displays beautifully measuring 3 3/4 inches wide, by 8 3/4 inches tall. Antique Vase Kangxi ?? China Double Ring Marking Birds in Trees Blue Colors
This is an absolutely gorgeous vase. I have done extensive research and I do believe that it is more than likely from the Kangxi age due to the double circle marking. What a gorgeous scene on the vase with a beautiful bird and butterflies. This approximate 10 to 10.5 inch vase is obviously damaged with the top at some point damaged as it was made into a lamp(see parts. Also included) It had a sticker on the bottom from the lamp that I removed. There are no major cracks or chips other than at the bottom where it was made into a vase, and a small chip at the bottom as well also some crazing and the odd production mark but any indentations appear to be under the glaze. I will send more pictures if you request by message. See photos, ask questions, I am not an antique expert but I do believe it is not a reproduction.
