Thinly potted Batavian Ware bowl with underglaze blue scrolling lotus decoration. Has a four character Kangxi mark to the base but probably dates to the Guangxu period(c1875-1908) The bowl measures approximately 15cm in diameter(maximum) by 7.5cm in height. Chinese Qing Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Tiny Bowl with Kangxi Reign Kaishu Mark c1662- 1722 A simple but exquisite Chinese porcelain piece and of the period. Depicting a home town or place of living. On bottom is a six character underglaze blue kaishu mark indicating Kangxi period c 1662-1722. The six characters are encircled by a double solid underglaze blue circles. Dimensions are height = 1.5 inches. Diameter open face = 2.25 inches and base diameter = 1.25 inches. Excellent condition! Antique Chinese SIGNED KANGXI Celadon Scallop Lidded Porcelain Bowl Silver Mount
On top is a green celadon button finial. Then the top is enrobed with a silver mount that is absolutely stunning. Braided lines and two fantastic dragons opposite each other. The base of the lid is protected by the thick silver clawed lid. The porcelain is decorated with different scenes of two young men/ brothers or twins with martial arts and lion motifs. Well decorated on the scalloped and perfectly balanced edges. Beautiful hand painted flying storks. Mountains, and architectural traditional Chinese temples or homes adorn the sides of the base. When you open the top you are greeted by the two brothers and two birds painted on the inside with silver mounted teeth and braided ropes to secure and protect the piece all the way to the teethed thick silver base. Bottom contains the clear Kangxi period mark(1662-1722) Da Qing Kangxi Nian Zhi" ... moremark. Condition looks perfect with no cracks. Repairs or any issues to be found. The piece is so well-protected by the thick silver lining that even the base of this bowl/ jar is in excellent condition with no chips at all! Silver is unmarked but they typically weren't for this period. Feels like an important Imperial piece and is just stunningly beautiful in person. The photos do not do this item justice. A 17th century period Kangxi period Chinese Porcelain Dished Plate. Decorated with a stunning floral Imari design around the central medallion it is beautifully painted. The plate m easures 27.8 cm across and 5.2 cm high. One small flake chip to the inside rim and two faint hairlines to the underneath along with the usual edge rubbing. This is the best part of 4 centuries old so I consider this to be in very good order for its age. Find one cleaner and its almost certainly not real or priceless.
