They're standing in front of a pair of destroyed Japanese tanks. The one in the foreground looks to be a turretless Type 97 Chi Ha which was blown apart by a direct hit by a Marine anti-armor weapon. Item Description: Original Japanese Non-Commissioned Officer’s Shin Gunto sword from World War II. The blade is 26.5 inches long(67cm) and has a fuller the entire length of the blade. The blade and the scabbard are both numbered 28957. There is also arsenal stamps at the top of the handle below a pierced bronze tsuba. The sword is in overall Good condition for its age but is showing some rust and some scratches. The scabbard shows no dents and retains roughly 70-80% original finish. The handle is not in perfect condition and has some of its paint peeling but still in good condition. This NCO sword would be a superb addition to a collection of WWII Militaria or Japanese swords.

Imperial Japanese WWII Police Officer Parade Sword
WWII Japanese Imperial Police Sword w/Scabbard in good condition for its age. This sword was given to my Mom as a gift when she was overseas after the war(both my parents served in WWII) and has been in storage ever since. I have left the sword and scabbard in original condition and have not attempted to clean or polish it in any way. The latch/lock mechanism between the sword and scabbard works. There is some looseness in the connection between the handle and the blade. Which I did not attempt to investigate or repair. The blade is smooth and without nicks or scratches. But is tarnished. This is a very nice WWII era Imperial Japanese Army sword(Gunto) belt. This belt is in fantastic condition and has the more scarce leather buckle cover. And what's more amazing is that the original leather loop that holds the end of the cover down is still on the belt! That leather loop is usually gone. Really the only thing you need for this belt is a hanger strap. Hanger straps come up for auction every now and then. Getting one will not be impossible I assure. I've tried to find one with the same Japanese marking on it. But I know it is no more than 1945 in age. Hook cross guard. Pommel Shape is Birdshed Contoured. Contoured grip held with two screws. It is about 20 inches in length and the blade is about 15 5/8 inches. It has a japanese symbol on it(see picture) The blade is in good condition but shows some wear from the scabbard. This is a WWII Japanese Samurao Katana sword. In very good condition. Made by Kanemichi who is listed on page 46 of the book"Modern Japanese Swordsmiths" by John Slough. Kanemichi was rated 2 million Yen. The blade does not have any flaws. Measures close to 26 inches in length. Nice and broad Hamon. The scabbard is made of wood and is covered with brown leather. Very Nice 16th to 18th C. Japanese Samurai Wakizashi Sword in Fine MeiJi Mounts
Fabulous example of the Samurai art of weaponry. This Wakizashi short swor d is wearing an early blade which is likely to date from between late Koto(16th century) to early Shi nto(17th-18th century) and has remained in quite good condition with a distinctive tamper line still visible alon g the edge and most of the tip area. Ha ving few light laminations near the lower blade on one side. Few light patina patches. No maj or flaws. Chips or blisters in the steel, the blade has retaine d p erfect edge and should take a very good polish should the new owner desire so. Mounted with a nice large silver habaki. Large gold inlaid iron tsuba which is likely to be earlier then meiji era, lovely matching fuchi kashira set of gold inlaid bronze, so are the menukies and a fabulous kazuka handle, all showing minimal wear to gold, the kazuka blade bearing ... morelong signat ure. Sting ray skin over grip is intact and with the lovely white braiding also fully intact. The sword is solid overall and comes with a lovely lacquered wooden scabbard which leaves a few millimeter gap when sheathed. This is a rare 1930s to WWII era Japanese smoking tray set. The set is has never been used and only shows very small signs of age. Condition is near mint. The set includes the tray. Cigarette box, ashtray with removable glass insert(for easy cleaning) and matchbox holder. I'll include the matches as seen in the photos. Each piece is decorated with cherry blossom. Nice Japanese WW2 Sword Katana Blade Signed Masayuki
Up for sale we have a nice Japanese WW2 traditional made sword. This has a sharp blade that is signed Masayuki who was a highly rated sword smith during this time. This sword is very clean and bright from being stored for years and has a very nice blade with no nicks or bends. The overall length on sword is 40 inches long in the scabbard. About 37 1/2 inches out of scabbard and 27 inches from tip to tsuba. Has nice clean fittings and tight tsuka with tight tsuka ito Blade appears to have a sugu( straight) hamon with an omaru boshi on the kissaki and shows even better in person. Has minor age associated wear. This will be very hard to upgrade! If you need more information just ask. I will require insurance on this item.

The blade represents the rare opportunity to own a historic Shinto katana from the highly renowned Hizen Tadayoshi line of swordsmiths. The blade is in Excellent condition and the mountings are in MINTY condition which include the original family sageo cord and surrender tag. The sword is a katana and has a blade length of 27.25 inches(69 cm) It shows a strong and powerful shape and construction. The blade features the representative Hizen ko-itame ... morehada known as konuka. The hamon is a well-implemented and active nie-based suguha hamon. The hamon is present the length of the blade through the kissaki where it ends in a thick maru boshi with turnback. There is nie hotsure and nezumi ashi along the hamon. The tang is signed tachi-mei Hizen Kuni Omi no Kami Tadayoshi. The tang is slightly suriage by 3 inches(7cm) Hizen Tadayoshi was a famous line of swordsmiths working in Hizen province from 1600 to 1860s. Their swords were renowned for their sharpness and high quality craftsmanship. They were highly sought out by Samurai during the Edo period and are still highly sought out by collectors today. Based on the signature. This is the 5 th generation. Or Godai Tadayoshi working circa 1750. He is ranked Jo Saku by Fujishiro attesting to the respect given his workmanship. The mountings are Type 98 Shin Gunto and in MINTY condition. The tsuka is silk-cord wrapped with cherry blossom menuki. There is little to no fraying. World War II Japanese NCO Shin-Gunto Sword Type 95
Japanese NCO Shin-Gunto. Initial type: Army Arsenal Nagoya Factory made. The aluminum hilt(Tsuka) is painted. Brass aoi-shaped guard(Tsuba) Horseshoe chape(Ishizuki) Iron scabbard(Saya) This sword is the second type made during the war and of one of the higher quality models. Second only to the original rare models with a copper Tsuka. Matching Serial numbers(116501) on both the neck of the Tsuba and the blade. This sword is authentic and is in excellent condition. It bears the Nagoya arsenal inspection stamp and the Tsuka has most of the orginal paint still on it. The blade has not been sharpened, cleaned or tampered with in any way. The overall condition of the sword is very good. There is some slight pitting on the blade but no major gouges, chips or other imperfections. Guaranteed Original Japanese Type 25 Cavalry no 32 NCO Saber Sword Matching #'s
This is a Guaranteed Original Japanese Type 25 NCO Saber or Sword. It is in very good shape with matching scabbard. Almost no ware. Great patina. Vary rare sword seldom seen. There was only about 17.000 made between 1892 and 1899, and then they switched to the type 32. Sword has Kanji character markings and a serial number. The blade is very good and was never sharpened. I can't find any nail catches or nicks on the edge. I tried to photograph the change in polishing direction at the tip that shows it has original polishing. It has not been repolished. Brass has beautiful untouched patina. Scabbard lock button on the back strap functions great. Wood grip has original finish and a good tight fit, no cracks or chips. Matching numbered chrome steel scabbard has serial number on the drag. Complete with hanger ring. This will make an outstanding ... moreaddition to your collection. I am also breaking up a Polish Eagle rig of 2 mags. 1cleaning rod, 1 holster all original and in great shape. All are original Made for the Polish Eagle Radom pistol.
