Ivory colored and all over glass beaded cocktail hat by Regis of Connecticut Ave. vintage 1930s. This quality made, American designer hat has one long, thin, elegant green dyed pheasant feather as a focal point on the front. The hat is made of ivory colored wool to which many rows of irridescent white beads have been hand sewn in a Art Deco style pattern. In between the rows of tiny beads are rows of thin twisted cream chiffon wrapped with irridescent metallic thread. The decorated wool is turned under around the brim where it is edged with a matching cream grosgrain hat band. The hat sits on top of the head and to one side. BEAUTIFUL vintage SCHIAPARELLI Tulle and lace HAT natural w IVORY FLOWERS
This incredible vintage hat was made by Schiaparelli. Paris. It is made from a stiff tulle base lined in lace and covered with tulle veiling. This is done in a natural color and the hat is accented with large ivory camellia flowers. The flowers have stems made of green fabric wrapped around wire that go up towards the center of the hat. The hat size is 22" It is 7 1/4" high and 9" in diameter at the base. The stems are separating from the wire and could use a little glue to repair them. There are a few places where the green fabric is brown probably from aging. There is a small 1/4" spot at the very top of the hat, possibly where another flower had been. This hat comes from the heyday of hat making from an fabulous designer. Definitely haute couture. This hat was recently purchased from a local estate, from a well traveled ... morefamily. This beautiful crib pillow cover is from my own personal stash. I've been collecting baby clothes from the 1950's on back, they make great clothing for some of the older dolls. Antique Victorian Winter White Ivory Dress Linen Silk Mutton Sleeve Wedding
Offered for study or restoration is an antique 2-piece dress with large mutton sleeves and extra full skirt designed to accommodate a bustle. The dress is made from finely woven Linen and lined with cotton muslin. The yoke of the bodice is decorated front and back with ruched silk that is in surprisingly nice condition and quite beautiful. There are silk satin ribbon trims below the gathered silk and more at the waistline of the bodice. The inside hem of the dress skirt has a wide strip of white velvet used to bind the lining. There are a few light stains and some small holes in the skirt. The back of the waist is held closed for the photos by a clip because the hooks are missing. The inside of the bodice has stays that have been sewn in by hand and it is also held closed with a clip for the photos. The center front is ivory silk satin, it snaps and has covered buttons over the snaps. It's lined in ivory tissue silk, the tissue silk is in terrible condition, needs to be removed or replaced. IT has a casing around the bottom with elastic, the bottom of the sleeves come to points and the is trimmed with moire silk ribbon. The lace and netting is excellent, the ivory silk band down the front is good, just a small pin head spot on it, a couple of snaps need to be secured. WOW! You do not see these much! This is a true 1920's~30's VINTAGE( maybe 40's) Evening Swing Jacket. It is"Broadtail" not curly lamb. I think the white fur is mink but. May be ermine( it's very soft) The cuffs roll up. So you can adjust. This is SUPER comfortable on( just a tad small for my size 12 now) I think a size 8 would be perfect. But a 10 or wide shouldered 6 would work too. The silk lining is great! There are a few areas with fur worn. Shown in pictures. I think you could just use black marker to hide most. C1930's fancy long black Chantilly beaded lace dress with an ivory silk slip. Appears to have been handmade. Has a belt decorated with sequins in the back. And a lace flounce in back below the belt. The neck edge is decorated with beads. The waist measures 28" The bust is 36-38" Measures 15 1/2" to the waist and is 52" long in total. There is no opening. It is made to slip over the head. Generally the condition is good. The lace is not brittle. The slip is in good condition, needs ironing. VINTAGE 1930'S BIAS CUT LONG IVORY WEDDING EVENING GOWN SLIP PETTICOAT
This is a vintage 1930's or 40's ivory satin bias cut long slip for a wedding or evening dress. It is not tagged. It has darts in the front for fit and closes on the left side with hooks& eyes but 1 eye is missing. At the back it looks like to panels were added for fit but they can be removed and resewn the original way as nothing else has been altered. Shown in the 8th photo. The measurements are 15 1/2" flat under the arms, a 29" waist, 36" hips and is 54" long with a hem circumference of about 90" Condition is very good, excepting the panels later added at the back, but there are stains and soiling at the hem as shown in the last pictures using the mouse. Also on the right side under the arm it looks like it was also sewn in a little and then let out again, as seen in the 3rd photo. 1930s Vintage Hollywood Glamor Satin Bias Cut Ivory Wedding Gown
I bought this dress for my wedding. But we changed the theme and I bought another dress, so I never wore this one. This is a true vintage, possibly hand made, and is in amazing condition for a piece if its age. It is clean and ready to wear, with no discoloration at the underarms or other noticeable stains. There are, however, three small snags on the back, on the seat. I will send additional pictures if requested. The fabric is a light ivory/champagne white satin with an abstract floral pattern. It is bias cut. So it hugs your curves in a very flattering way. The V neckline is asymmetrical in front with a gathered detail, and deeply plunging in the back. Such a pretty vintage wedding dress! It would be great as a project piece or to fix up for your wedding. The entire dress is made of a gorgeous ivory satin that is in good condition. The top of the dress has a mesh neckline that has a few small holes. Right below that there is lace and an accent bow. The long sleeves each close at the wrist with 4 buttons. The skirt of the dress has a lace accent with matching bows. The train is outlined in the same lace. The back of the dress buttons down and has that same mesh at the neckline. There are two bigger holes in this part of the mesh. There are a few areas of discoloration on the dress like the loops for the buttons. But there are no major stains that I have been able to find. Long to the floor, gorgeous slightly puckered shoulder areas and gorgeous lace. SO pretty, marked size 32 which equates to a small or 3/4. There is one slightly torn area under right arm(see picture) and there is one stain to the top of the left shoulder which may or may not be removable(I will add this picture shortly) There are no other rips or tears.
