Absolutely gorgeous vintage plastic or bakelite ring boxes. The one with the raised diamond on the top and says JEWELS BRING MEMORIES measures 2 3/8" X 1 5/8" The other one is smaller and measures 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" square. Both have black interiors. It is in block letters incised(a very old chinese export) It is all hand carved either bone or faux ivory(not sure) It has a 3 dimensional look deeply carved with a chinese man and a scene. Just gorgeous. It measures 1 3/4 inches long(not including the jump ring) by 1 1/8 inches across. The scene is raised out 3/8 inches. On the back of the pendant the gold is worn off and it has a lite copper look. It is on the back only. No wear of the gold on the sides. Around the edges there is a tiny tiny circular design on all the edges. On one side one of ... morethe tiny circular design looks like it is smushed down a tiny bit when they set the center pendant in. Also one tiny speck on the bottom on 1 of the designs. Offered for sale is a very lovely antique"faux" ivory necklace with handcarved beads in a beautiful rose design. The piece is authentic- the real thing! This piece probably originates in China and dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. It is in excellent condition. Some might want to have this professionally cleaned. But I think the necklace is enhanced by its"patina. The necklace is 18 inches long from end to end and weighs.4 ounces. The clasp is a screw type as can be seen in the pictures. The beads are graduated in size. The larger center beads are intricately carved roses and the smaller end beads are plain. The largest bead is a bit over 3/8 inch in diameter.
