Vintage White Glass Exit Light Globe Antique Complete Business Lamp. Works
I'm an electrician and took this light out of an apartment building during renovation and updating. It is beautiful and functioning. Wires are not brittle. I hung one in my house by the back door without rewiring it because I felt from my examaniation the wires were safe. I would say the same about this one except for the liability that goes with that statement. Would I hang it in my house?Without a doubt. There is paint on the metal base the globe fits into. Sounds like paint remover time huh? The screws that tighten to hold the globe are rusty but functional. Wire brush should clean them up with ease. Ask questions now cause its too late after you buy. I think you will be hard pressed to find another in as fine shape as this one.

The bookcase has three shelves with brass knobs to pull the shelves out and upwards and are covered with thin sheets of selenit on the backsides- a mineral often used instead of glass. The condition is very good with signs of age and handling. The width measures a bit over 6" the height measures 9 1/8" and the depth measures 2 1/4" on the bottom and 1 7/8" on the top.

An amazing piece that we truly regret listing for sale. This is a truly unique antique art deco floor lamp which will make a fantastic cornerstone centerpiece for any highly styled room decor! It is a HUGE Biba Girl floor lamp! This piece is almost 80" tall(from the bottom of the floor base to the top of the vaseline glass globe) The Biba girl herself stands about 74" to the top of her nose/chin from the floor. The depth of the piece is about 45" from the front of the globe to the back of her head. She stands on a double tier hexagonal base- the bottom tier of the base is a 24" wide hexagon and the tier she stands on is a 16" hexagon. She is molded of early poly carbonate and is finished in black paint. The hexagon base is wooden. The lamp is a 10" diameter swirled vaseline glass globe. The nominal mutual conductance reading for these tube should be 1170 on the 3000 scale and these checked as follows. National Union 1300& 1200. The old Cunningham 1200. The base on the Cunningham is a little loose. Usually if I am going to keep a tube with a loose base I push finger nail polish down between the base and the glass and it works well. Rare 1872-1910 Miniature World Globe Egg Shaped Made in Germany Candy Container? For your consideration is this outstanding Kansas City estate sale item. It is a very unusual and possibly rare miniature World globe. It is egg shaped and measures 3 1/2" long and 2 1/4" in diameter at the widest point. It is made of wood and has printed paper stamps to form the world globe. I have been able to date this globe from 1872 to 1910. It is not in high detail but I know it pre dates 1918 because it is marked Prussian Empire. It pre dates 1914 as it is marked St Petersburg. It is also marked Cape Colony which puts production some time between 1872& 1910. It is made in two halves which mean it was made for a container. I feel that it may be a candy container. It is from the estate of a long time candy container collectior. It is marked"Made ... morein Germany" It is in very nice condition. A true surviver. Don't let it get away! Good luck!
