George Nelson Herman Miller Glass Door Bookcase Cabinet
The piece is in good used condition. it has a hole in the back for an electrical chord. The dimension are approximately 34" wide 18 1/2" deep and 24 1/4" tall. I have had bad luck shipping glass even packing it carefully. So the doors would have to go in a separate box. I would prefer local pickup. Shipping to be quoted at the close of the auction. I have to buy boxes and packing material and that will be included in the cost. I would guess greyhound some where around $100. I never make money on shipping however bear in mind ebay charges the seller a percentage of the shipping. Contemporary George Nelson Wall Clock With Timer White 11.75"
This is a really cute George Nelson wall clock. Old style but it is a newer clock. White hard plastic frame. It has a timer on the bottom so would be great for the kitchen. Takes one AA battery. It measures 11.75" long and is 8" wide at it's widest. Please note the smaller size as it is a good kitchen or bathroom clock. But would probably get lost in a larger space. In excellent all around condition.

Please note that this auction is for the glass credenza only. The slat bench is for display purposes. Here's a wonderful vintage 1950s era George Nelson designed for Herman Miller glass credenza unit. This particular style was made especially to sit on a Herman Miller slat bench as seen in the first photo. It features 2 sliding glass doors. Both with the iconic George Nelson"scoop" handles that are built into the glass and a interior lamp that switches on and off as needed. The piece is a authentic but is missing the Herman Miller sticker as many of these vintage pieces are. CONDITION Overall the unit is in excellent condition with no major detractions. There are no breaks. Cracks or splits to the wood. The sliding glass is complete and without chips or cracks. The lamp has been tested and works as it should. The electrical ... morecord is complete and without damage. There are some light scuff and scratch marks as seen in the photos that are normal for a unit of this age. Many of these have been lightly colored in with a furniture crayon and are very hard to spot. Photo 9 and 10 show both sides of the unit which has some of this light wear. Photo 11 shows a small area on the top which also has some light wear. These photos show the sides with direct light applied to it to make these minor detractions stand out more. The unit is missing the glass(or wood) shelves that went inside but it does have 8 of the metal clips that hold the shelves. These fit into the interior slots as they should and are secure. The cord that goes to the lamp is secure to the sides and top but not taut. It leads to a vintage transformer which sits loosely on the bottom interior. The transformer works as it should but it isn't the prettiest thing in the world. The fixture uses a modern bulb so you may be able to do a simple re-wire and get rid of this transformer unit. The back of the unit is enclosed with thinner wood. A couple of the nail tacks are missing but the wood is still secure. These tacks could be easily replaced. I be

Vintage George Nelson Herman Miller Credenza Desk Return Mid Century Modern
Up for auction is a very nice George Nelson for Herman Miller desk return or secretary credenza. This is a one owner piece that came out of a prominent Grand Rapids Architects office. I believe this is part of the executive office group or EOG and was designed in 1958. It is made of walnut with chrome square tubular legs. It has a cut out in the top for electrical cords and has a recessed shelf area on the right side. It is all original and in very good condition for its age. Retains original Herman Miller label. Does have some minor scratches but no major damage. Finished on back as well to float in the middle of a room. Perfect for that"Madmen" office. Up for auction is one complete Howard Miller George Nelson designed Lucite pendulum clock in non-working condition. The clock used to run. But after an extended period of time sitting in my office, the clock stops and will not run on its own. The clock is authentic and complete except for a few tiny wood screws that fasten the aluminum outer shell. They were missing when I bought the clock. The only notable damage is a slight ding in the outer edge of the clock beyond the one o'clock register. The ding is pictured and is hardly noticeable. The Lucite face is clear and without damage. I removed the back plate of the clock to take auction photo's(reflection) The reflective surface of the back plate needs to be re-adhered to the wood disc. The frame was made of a piece of steel tube bent ... morealong the length of the shell for the two front legs, with a second piece for the back legs, whereby the legs which stuck out were stabilized additionally by welded crossbars. Thus, the frame seemed to stretch across a floating curved form and to be attached to the floor. Herman Miller later produced the shell using fiberglass-reinforced polyester and screwed aluminum tube legs singly onto the form; the crossbars were also screwed on. The initial production of a footstool to match the chair was later discontinued. I am a former Herman Miller representative. I bought the desk new in the late 1970s. I simply no longer have the need or space for it. The roll top works great! The desk has two shallow pencil drawers. According the Herman Miller catalog. The height of the desk is 29" The width is 54" The depth is 29 1/2" The top(work surface) and roll top are both oak. The ends are"dark tone, or black. The base, or feet, are polished aluminum. Overall good condition. The black side panels and two drawers do show some wear. With some marks. The aluminum feet also show some age. The wood is very nice condition. Please bear in mind that this piece is vintage(which is anything over 20-years-old) and because it is over 30-years-old, it is not in perfect condition. The roll top and drawers work great. Vintage Gossamer Pendant Light Shade Bubble Shape Color is Dark Yellow or Mustard Like. I am uncertain the material used in making this shade. Texture looks like fiberglass but soft and supple like vinyl. Tag reads Gossamer Lighting. I believe this is a take off of the original George Nelson Bubble Lamps. The 15+ foot original cord and ring are included but will need some repairs. I did find the socket that goes with this lamp. I do believe all the pieces are there.the cord will need to be wired into the socket. This shade measures 18" wide x 16" tall. No punctures. Tears or other. If there is something I missed Please ask. Howard Miller George Nelson / Umanoff Vintage Flip Cylinder Clock - Beautiful
For auction is a very cool and rare vintage mid-century Howard Miller'digital' flip cylinder clock in aluminum and rosewood. Probably designed by Arthur Umanoff in collaboration with George Nelson. I don't know the specific year this clock was made but I would guess mid to late 60's. This clock appears to be the predecessor to all later generations of analog'flip' and later digital clocks. So very innovative at the time. It is a very simple and elegant design consisting of a motor driven reel of flip numbers suspended within the aluminum tube, viewed through the plexiglass window. There is a single small original lightbulb positioned next to the window which still works and softly illuminates the number reel to allow the clock to be seen at night. Condition: Overall very good original condition. The clock runs and ... morekeeps great time. The aluminum cylinder is very clean and bright. With just a few surface scratches here and there. There is a very subtle indentation of the tube under the viewing window, but it can only be seen when viewing at the right angle and is not distracting at all. Rosewood end caps and base are in excellent shape with no dings/scratches to note. The base has the original felt pad on bottom. There were two very small set screws that held the caps on; one of them is present but one is missing(on the non-stem side. Could be easily replaced. Full Howard Miller labels on back and front as can been in the pics. Overall a really elegant. Simple and beautiful clock that seems to epitomize the time period with mix of classic mid-century modern materials/ aesthetic with'futuristic' space-age analog technology. For your consideration. A rare and beautiful vintage George Nelson Howard Miller Chronopak desk clock. This example is in estate fresh condition and is in excellent vintage condition. There are a few minor scratches to the walnut case here and there but nothing objectionable in my opinion. The brass stand does have some oxidation and finish loss as might be expected after all these years. The glass dome, black face and hands are all in great shape.
