This auction is for a heavy large hand carved wood plaque or wall hanging. The carving is of a classical baker preparing several loaves to be placed in the oven while his paddle rests against the wall in the background. The carving is very interesting considering the subject and I have not seen another like it. If you bake or know someone who has a bakery or restaurant. This would be a nice gift. Dimensions are 15" tall, 8 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" thick. It is carved from one thick piece of wood and the grain is visible throughout. The baker, himself, is 9" tall. The wood has a dark hand rubbed finish which gives the wood an aged patina. Piece is unsigned and I do not know the origin. The baker could just as easily be a colonial American as a European. Vintage primitive Mexican folk art jar- three Mexican Hairless dogs climbing into a jar. Without good makers mark. I believe this to be from Colima Mexico, where the dog is an integral part of the community- both as a food source and in funeral rituals. This jar was designed as a decorative piece only, not for use for food consumption. It is about 8 inches tall, the dogs are about 6 inches tall. The width of the jar alone is about 7 inches(not including the dogs) The mouth of the jar is about 4 inches. Inside the jar, the pottery is imperfect- with folds in the clay. Antique Vintage Forged or Cast Iron Egg Pan 17" Ladle Wide 5" Bowl Primitive
This old egg pan came from an auction in Vermont. It measures 17 1/4" long. The bowl only measures 5" in diameter. The hanging hook is broken off. Please see the seventh picture. I believe it to be forged iron, made by hand. It weighs 12 ounces. It's a neat old piece, please see all pictures. I was told by a fellow eBayer that it was used for cooking an egg on the fire.

These four primitive round back farm chairs were refinished about 35 years ago. I had them sand blasted to get the 5 coats of paint off of them and then stained and varnished them. They are all in good condition very sturdy. I do not know the age. But old. Due to the size, this is pickup only in Burlington, WI area. I still have some new farm auction stuff to list, as well as some South Dakota/Wyoming vacation stuff to list but also recently drove with a friend out to Eastern Ohio. Stopped at two barn sales along the way- both Amish homes, and did I get some fabulous finds. Some very old primitives and antiques, and I’m thrilled to post them for you this week. I’ll be listing just about every day this week, so be sure to keep checking! Did you know that instant coffee has been around since 1937. When it was invented by Nescafe? I did not! When I bought this jar, I thought gee, it looks old, but I didn't think that instant coffee had been around all that long(silly me, I would have guessed the 1970s! but indeed it has. What I have is a vintage, apothecary style(in ... moreshape) jar that has its original brass lid and spoon and reads on the side, Instant Coffee" in gold lettering. Now, as you can see from my photos, the former owner put potpourri inside of it(and it still smells good too! and I didn't empty it at all because I think it makes it a little easier for you to see the lettering- you will get the jar with the potpourri. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition, no issues to the glass that I can find, or the brass for that matter, except two teenie light spots that are palpable that look like paint spray oops's to me- see photo 9. I bet you could scrape them right off- I didn't want to try as I don't mess with original patina in any way- including to clean my items. It's dusty, and could use a good bath. I also see some palpable white marks on the underside of the base right along the rim(you don't see unless it's turned over) They also look like paint to me- see photos 14& 15- again, they look and feel as if they could chip right off. The spot on the lid where the spoon hangs from has a white-ish coloration that I'm showing in a close up- that looks like oxidation to me. The lettering of the

This 15" Prim Scarecrow is just the right size for sitting on a mantel. Shelf of tucked into an open cupboard. His brown flannel overalls are tied at the bottom to hold his overflowing stuffing! He sports a brown checked homespun shirt with an aged cheesecloth neck scarf. Boots are dry brushed black and lightly sanded. His ragged burlap hat is loaded with excelsior and sweet annie. The little pumpkin is not attached and can be placed either at his side or on his lap. Body is made from tea-dyed muslin and squared and weighted. Primitive Momma Bunny Egg& Lil Ones Hello to all the wonderful members of Ebay and Thank You so much for stopping by my auction! Today for your consideration I have this adorable Momma Bunny Egg and Her Lil Bunnie Eggs handmade by me. These adorable bunny rabbit eggs were made using a pattern from a very talented artist"Patti's Ratties" The Momma Bunny Egg is made using several different pieces of material on the front and the back is one solid piece matching the bottom and top material. Her ears are made from Warm and Natural Batting and are constructed with wire so you can change the position of the ears to suit your liking. I used a technique called dry brush to paint the inner ears. Her face is also made from Warm and Natural Batting and stuffed lightly. The nose and mouth are hand stitched and her eyes are glass beads ... morethat have been sewn on. Her checks have been painted using the same technique as the ears. I finished the Momma with a plaid green heart that was slightly stuffed and sewn on below her face. Tied a matching bow around her right ear and pinned a grungy tag on the other ear saying Welcome. The Mommy Bunny has a hanger on the back so she can be hung on the wall or your front door and measures 15" tall. The smaller bunnies have been made the same way with coordinating materials. These were made using a pattern from one of my favorite designers"The Olde Country Cupboard" Both snowmen sitters are made with Warm and Natural Batting that has been stained with my coffee mixture. They have a boxed and weighted bottom for sitting. Their noses are made from burnt orange felt and the faces have been hand stitched. Their black hats are made from black felt and aged with cinnamon and accented with a hat band that matches their plaid scarves. The boy snowman sitter's hat has a cute little mouse on made from Warm and Natural batting. Then I accented the hat with moss. Pinecones, berries and greenery as well ... moreas his left shoulder. Wheel-thrown pottery body with applied ring-finger handle. Most probably from the latter half of the 1800s. Overall measurements of about sixteen inches high& nine inches inches acrosss. No discernible hallmarks. But a good quality, utilitarian piece brought back from Maine, about three years ago. No cracks. Dings or bruises; very nice& clean& thoroughly presentable. VINTAGE PRIMITIVE REENACTOR WOOD 4 SECTION SERVING CHOW BOWL 18TH C REV WAR CAMP
DEAR REENACTORS AND COLLECTORS. WOOD YOU LOOK AT THIS? Presented new debut freshly picked from the trade field is this old sticker marked Price Products vintage Wood Bowl with good age. Swirling four section compartments, and highly useful in encampment kitchens for period correct cooking presentations made of native Phillipine water resistant hardwood with tight grain. Please study the pictures, and see how this vintage wood bowl goes to work in actual useage in summer encampment when you are on the road and it is meal time for the family and troops for yourself of various foods, or use as group serving bowl. The hardwood bowl has had light useage with minor scuffing to surface but no breaks. Chips, or cracks commensurate with vintage age expected. It is round in shape measuring 9.75" in diameter to hold fruit cubes, berries, olives, ... morenuts, etc for serving as shown suggested use, with excellent character earned by an honest antique. The rim is sturdy and bowl stands 1 7/8" off surface off table. It is clearly stickered on the flat bottom surface, a trusted name in signed treen ware for collectors. Condition Report: As found in the trade field. The bowl shows well. Is useable, clean, no odors, my home is smoke free, and high bidder acknowledges and accepts the status report and does not argue after arrival, they failed to notice a few very minor surface scuffs just reported for entire accuracy. This is not a reproduction, newly made item, or fake primitive made to look old, it IS genuine old and worthy of antique show table top offerings in summer outdoor shows for collectors and reenactors. One customer of mine recently bought a large grouping, for his summer home BBQ parties. These bowls fly out the door, and not so easy to find as one thinks from the 1950 and 60's era.
