We found these in a three seasons porch at a lake shore ... moreestate. Although not in poor condition, we felt the needed some love and restoration. We have re-finished the black bases and white wire seat shells with two coats of primer and three coats of high quality enamel based paint. We think they look pretty nice! One of the wire chair shells has some small broken wires and some small cracks in the front screw mounting arbors, as pictured. They do not affect the function or sturdiness of the chair. The other three shells have no broken wires or cracks. None of the chairs show any evidence of repairs, but may have a few wires that are slightly bent. We placed nylon washers between the bases and seat shells. We are also including the original bikini pads which are in fair condition. The have waste cattle hair pads and what appears to be a faux reptile skin naugahyde coverings. We feel these could be salvaged and restored with the original padding and production tags intact, if you wish. The rubber boot glides are all original with the exception of one new replacement. A few glides have some small cracks and two have back tape holding them together. We will include 2 new extra replacement glides as well. Bases will be removed for shipping. The background is kelly green and it has a black cubist design running over the top surface. Measurements: Approx. 14" long x 10.5" wide. Condition: Given their age. The top is in very good, all-original vintage condition. There are some signs of minimal wear and some superficial scratching as well which are commensurate with age and use, but nothing alarming- the tray still displays very nicely! This is a covered casserole dish made by Taylor Smith and Taylor in the late 1950's and 1960's. The shape is called Ever Yours and the pattern on the lid is called Wood Hue. The light cream dish is free form in shape with dramatic upsweeping sides and a rich butterscotch interior. The round lid features the Wood Hue motif and has a metal handle. The casserole measures 10-1/4" x 6-3/4" x 4-7/8" tall at the ends. It is unmarked. Beautiful minty condition with just a manufacturing paint skip on the interior bottom of the bowl. NOTE: I have been told that the bottom of this dish is not original to the Wood Hue lid. The dish is the same as far as shape but the Wood Hue pieces actually have a mustard yellow interior. Mid century modern 3 bullet/ cone shaped metal shade floor lamp. Great used condition. The cone shades are made from spun fiberglass and are in great shape. The tip on each cone is a teak wood. When turning the lamp on you can either have the top 2. All 3 or just bottom one. All work well. The cones are adjustable. It has what I am told is an older oval style stamp on the bottom, although some of it is barely visible due to wear. This wonderful early 70s gold/brass Italian floor lamp designed by Goffredo Reggiani is a true piece of art. The lamp is gold and the canisters are white on the insides. The canisters are directional and can be adjusted to shine the light where you want it. There is a switch on the base. It will light 1, 2, or 3 lights. The lamp measures 68" tall and the canisters are 5" x 5-1/2" The heavy cast iron weighted base is round and 10 1/4"across. On close inspection it shows some discoloration or loss of the brass plating. The base has minor signs of use with some scratches and discoloration. A very rare textile'Giro Del Mondo' designed by the artist& designer Willis C Kaufmann and manufactured by JSA Italy. This was a winner at the 1957 Milan Triennale. And the full details are printed to the white margins(except for date, I found it out from researching JSA that it was 1957) The textile is in excellent vintage condition. It has been used at some point in it's life and is now un-picked. on tiny spec(see photo) The dimensions are; length 39 inches, by the full selvedge to selvedge width of 50 inches aprox. A rare and important piece of design history ideal for any collection or museum.
