In overall very good condition with just a couple of very small scuffs and marks here and there in keeping with its age but nothing noticeable. A stunning chair- totally classic. Very collectable piece which would brighten up any room. The seat and base will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired- please message. If you prefer oak or maple(lighter coloured) bases please let as know as we have stock of these so no problem at all. From time to time. EAMES ERA TYNDALE TABLE LAMP GOLD + BLUE CERAMIC + BRASS
This beautiful Tyndale lamp still retains the original silver sticker on the front-bottom of the lamp. Although. Barely readable it says, Tyndale, hand decorated. The brass base measures, 5.5" square X 2" tall and on top of that sits the very heavy ornate brass stand for the lamp. The ceramic lamp is off-white with bold bands at the bottom and the bulbous body is covered in gold petal shapes with blue dots around the centers. Above all of that is the neck which is covered in the same blue dots. At the top of the lamp sits a brass leaf design that holds the harp. The harp, which is not removable, is marked, Berger swivel harp and a pat. no. The brass finial shows some light pitting and patina. There are no chips, cracks or scratches. Perfect except for a tiny 1/16" shallow ding on the front, which I've tried to picture but it blends in so well with the wood grain, it's hard to see. The one flower measures about 19 inches by 14 inches and the other measures about 20 inches by 12 inches. They both have the number 7444 on the back and the date 1964. They are in excellent shape without any flaws that I could find. This is a very art deco. Art nouveau looking set of wall sculptures that would ad a great sophisticated look to what ever room you place them in. Eye Ball Desk Lamp For auction is this Panton Eames era MID-CENTURY MODERN CHROME TABLE DESK EYEBALL LAMP. This chrome eyeball lamp has a magnetic bottom that attaches and detaches from a chrome cylindrical base. Pivots to any desired direction. Chrome ball measures 4.25" diameter. Stand is 2.75" high. The lamp is in good working order. Bulb is included. It appears to have the original Leviton cord with an on and off switch, cord is long and measures 8+ feet. The chrome is shiny and bright, but does have some very light scratching which may be buffed out with chrome polis h. This does not detract from the piece. The base has a piece of green felt which has come off. Just needs to be re stuck. The light has no markings other than on the cord switch, LEVITON. 1956 Better Homes and Gardens Decorating Book Eames Era Mid-Century Modern
This is a wonderful vintage decorating book published in 1956 by Meredith Publishing Company. It is presented in a loose leaf binder with tab indexing. And has over 400 pages of decorating ideas, photos, etc. It has the original dust jacket, which is in rather tattered condition, but that has kept the green fabric cover quite nice. The book is in what I would call good condition, although it does show age. Certainly not excellent or perfect. Still, with the photos and illustrations, it is a classic and a must for the mid-century modern collector or decorator. I ship only in the lower 48 states. No international shipping.

Vintage Herman Miller Eames Upholstered Fiberglass Shell Chair Swivel Casters
For auction is one vintage Herman Miller Eames shell arm chair upholstered in its original orange. Wool-blend fabric. The fiberglass shell is white and has the swivel base with casters(fixed height, non-tilt) It is in excellent condition overall, but the fabric has"puckered" along the lower seam where it's separated from the foam padding. There are some very, very faint small stains on the seat(which I have provided a close-up of) though as you can see from the photos, they are hardly noticeable overall. There are also some slight indentations in the armrests(pictured) I have had the upholstery professionally cleaned, so it most likely will not clean up any better than what you see here. The shell, which has been thoroughly cleaned and buffed, is in perfect shape. The hard black rubber edge is also in great shape and has only ... morelight scratches near the arms. The aluminum base has been polished, but has a few spots of dark oxidation common to these bases(the most obvious of which I've photographed) The casters have all been cleaned& re-lubricated and roll smoothly. This one of the more uncommon pieces from their Aluminum group collection and was probably produced in the early to mid-1970s. The fabric is in excellent condition and has been professionally cleaned. The foam is in excellent condition as well. The entire chair has been cleaned and detailed top to bottom. And the casters have been re-lubricated and roll smoothly. There is one small scratch noticeable on the back near the upper left. For sale we have a wonderful vintage mid century modern rocker/rocking chair with original gold cushions that are in excellent condition. We purchased this a little while back from a woman who said it was her mother's and she was the original owner. She said the chair was made in Sweden but couldn't remember the designers name. She said he was a very famous designer. We've tried to figure it out but haven't been able to because of the chair straps. We cannot seem to spot another mid century rocker with the same straps and believe me these are original. Do us a favor please. Even if you are not interested in the chair and know who designed this we would highly appreciate any information you may have. The rocker measures 29 inches at it's highest point including the cushion and has a depth of 30 inches. The width is a roomy ... more29 inches. The chair structurally is in excellent condition. Pictures do not do these lamps justice. The blue and chrome combination is breath taking and very rare. It is hard to find this combination of blue glass and chrome in mid century modern lamps. They are simply stunning in shape and proportion and look even better on a low square or round glass and chrome side table.These are tall lamps measuring 37" to top of harp and 16" diameter on blue glass. This lamps were made in an era when quality mattered thus they are extremely heavy which explains shipping costs. A large barrel shade with blue and chocolate banding applied would be stunning on these lamps. If your design scheme is mid century. Stream ... morelined or minimalist these lamps would be perfect. The geometric form of the lamps along with the polished chrome bring them up to date. If you could even find these lamps in an antique store the price tag would be 850.00-1,500.00. I am offering them at a reasonable starting bid. They will be shipped in two boxes with lots of foam padding. Design tip- A large over scale black mirror with wide chunky frame would look stunning with these modern lamps. Throw in some vintage books with sleeves removed for added texture, then mix clear glass or crystal with a larger silver tray as the back drop and you have knock out look. Barrel type shades were commonly used with this type of lamp but you could use an updated bell shape as long as the top of the shade is as wide or wider than the silver lamp base. Your local lamp shop can easily find the ideal shade for you. Also if you are do it yourself person you can go to vintage shops and thrift stores and find barrel shades. Outstanding Mid-Century Modern Lamp Base Italian c. 1950s/ 60s Striking 16' vintage pottery lamp base with stylised( s gr affito technique) fish design. The colours are stunning with a mix of blue s, white and chartreuse to a black(matte finish) groun d. Marked Italy to the base- maker unknown Offered in very good- excellent condition with just minor signs of age and previous use as might be expected. There is a hairline within the chartreuse glaze at the top of the lamp( shown) but this appears not to be within the body itself. The baze is missing from the base but could easily re-placed once the lamp has been re-wired and finally there is one small fir ing fault where a small piece has come away from the body and re-attached itself a couple of inches further up. This is a Herman Miller fiberglass shell chair with arms designed by Charles and Ray Eames in off white on a zinc X base. This is an early to mid 1950s 2nd generation chair produced by Zenith of Gardena. California with 3 inch(larger) pucks and thick fiberglass and a heavy base. This has all its original rubber glides. It has no Herman Miller markings at all, which is typical of an early chair like this. There is a hand written number 46 on the chair from the factory and a metal tag that says J.L.H. 19715 which is from the company that purchased the chair and used it originally(possibly The J.L. Hudson Co) This is an original chair with its original legs. This is not a marriage of various parts. The pucks are original to the chair and not re-glued. This is how it left the factory. Vista of Calif Table with 6 Pacific Iron Products Chairs, Eames Knoll Mccobb Era
Welcome, Offering a true classic Mid Century Modern dining set in excellent vintage condition from the early 1950's. The table was manufactured by Vista of California which was located in Anaheim. Presumably designed by Don Knorr. The Philippine ribbon mahogany top makes this table without a doubt the most beautiful mid century dining table I have seen. The light catches the color in the ribbons to give it a warm rich glow, the pictures do not do it justice! The table top is backed by what appears to by a thick section of redwood which makes the table extremely solid. The table legs and frame are screwed into the top and can be removed for shipping. The condition of the table is 9.5 out of 10 with very minor signs of wear, no issues such as splits or chips, paint on the frame looks excellent. The table measures 60" long x 36" ... morewide x 29" tall. The chairs were manufactured by Pacific Iron Products which was located in Los Angeles. Designed by John Keal. They feature some of the best styling that I have seen in an iron chair with many subtle curves and bends while having a boxed shape that compliments the table, please take a look at the pictures for the details.These chairs are comfortable and have a slight spring to the backs. The legs are solid 1/2" round stock, they are strong and do not flex when seated. 4 of the chairs have been upholstered with a modern fabric that resembles the original vinyl seat pads, the design was slightly changed and covers the entire back to meet the front which snaps together at the bottom. 2 of the chairs have the original pads for reference, all 4 of the original pads are back rests, two are placed on the seats to give an idea of what they would look like with original vinyl if you were to have a new set made. The chairs are in 9.5 out of 10 condition with no bends, breaks, or repairs ever made, all welds are intact, paint looks excellent. Up for auction is a vintage Danish modern Selig chair. It is in good used condition. It is very sturdy and has new straps(seen in photo#6& 7) It could use a new cushion. It comes from a smoke free home and has no foul odors. But does have some staining/spots and a small hole on the bottom(seen in photo#11) It still has its original upholstery, which is an off white woven fabric, and its original rattan type back.
