We found these in a three seasons porch at a lake shore ... moreestate. Although not in poor condition, we felt the needed some love and restoration. We have re-finished the black bases and white wire seat shells with two coats of primer and three coats of high quality enamel based paint. We think they look pretty nice! One of the wire chair shells has some small broken wires and some small cracks in the front screw mounting arbors, as pictured. They do not affect the function or sturdiness of the chair. The other three shells have no broken wires or cracks. None of the chairs show any evidence of repairs, but may have a few wires that are slightly bent. We placed nylon washers between the bases and seat shells. We are also including the original bikini pads which are in fair condition. The have waste cattle hair pads and what appears to be a faux reptile skin naugahyde coverings. We feel these could be salvaged and restored with the original padding and production tags intact, if you wish. The rubber boot glides are all original with the exception of one new replacement. A few glides have some small cracks and two have back tape holding them together. We will include 2 new extra replacement glides as well. Bases will be removed for shipping. Vintage Unusual Tribal Carved Head Mother of Pearl ? Retro Eames Era African ?
Up for sale is a cool retro wood carving of a figure of a head in an African/ tribal style. It appears to be inlaid with mother of pearl. But I am not sure. The finish is very smooth compared to most of the carvings I've seen and the stain and style makes me think this dates to the late 1950s- 1960s. It does show some wear to the possible mother of pearl inlay as well as general"wear and tear" It measures approximately 6.5" tall by 4" wide by 1" deep. Super hard to find metal doll house furniture. I can not find a makers mark. They appear to have been flocked or felted; they still have a slight soft covering; most has worn off and feels more like smooth metal. You are getting them in as found condition. The lounger with the arm rests has the seat clamp unattached. They could all use a good cleaning. They measure approx 2-2.5" in Height. The loungers are approx 6" L. The ruler is to give you an idea on the size. They maybe a little crooked but could probably be set correctly with the right amount of pressure. Leaving that up to the new owner. Up for your consideration is a used authentic Eames for Herman Miller storage cabinet unit model 150. This cabinet features the neutral color scheme. These retail for $699 everywhere else online and in stores. Condition is acceptable. Very functional iconic piece that displays beautifully. There are a couple issues: Picture 7 shows the neutral painted particle board that makes up one side of the unit. You can see that two of the holes that the screws that connect the board to the frame go through have failed. To correct this problem I have simply added washers(see photo 8) It does the job and is quite inconspicuous anyhow. But buyer please be aware. For your consideration we are presenting an original WELTRON(Model 2001) 8 Track Stereo Tape Player AM/FM Phone MPX Radio from the 1970s. Made in Japan. Measures approx. 11.5" tall x 10.5" x 10.5" Condition: Cosmetically in very good. All-original vintage condition. All of the knobs and dials are present. The antenna is intact. There is a carrying handle on top. There is a small scratch along the handle(see photo) Otherwise, the orb case is free from breaks, cracks, repairs, etc. The battery compartment is very clean- no corrosion, etc. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the unit, and it is in good shape- no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. The radio is in fully functioning, working order and it sounds great! We did not test the 8-Track player, so we are uncertain as to whether or not it works. You are bidding on an original 1960s Sputnik style ceiling lamp. It is made of a metallic central piece decorated with a teak circular plaque and a decorative brass screw. It bears three brass branches lacquered each holding an oval teak decorative piece and a brass cup. There are three bulb casings. Each branch has a glass cylindrical lampshade partly opaque white and embellished with small grooves and transparent leaf like designs. This unit was well kept and shows very nicely, but does have some expected minor wear from use as pictured(see images 13-16 showing some scratches to the tops of the lower cabinets as well as some minor dings on the edge of the writing desk which are not very distracting but should be noted. There are some minor chips to the upright wall slats from inserting/removing the components but this is not really notable when the unit is set up as the cabinets and brackets cover it. When assembled this unit measures 80" tall and is127.5" long by 19" deep. The unit can be reconfigured if desired to best suit your space. We are selling this in original as found condition. T his is an AMAZING Mid-Century Space Age Modern Table Lamp featuring 5 Chrome orbs or"eyeballs" This is a beautiful and versatile work of art that would make a perfect focal piece for any modern minimalist or machine age decor. I tried my best but the photo's really DO NOT do this piece justice! The total lamp height is just under 30" tall and approximately 21- 23" around its widest point at the globes. The base is 8 1/4" in diameter. Each globe is 16" circ. x 4 1/2" tall- five total. At cascading heights. Two of the orb arms are slightly loose/wiggly where they join at the top of the base. All of them pivot so someone who knows what they're doing can probably tighten them easily. One light bulb socket is loose up inside the globe but still functional. Anyone with tools and know-how can easily repair ... morethis also. The wiring is in excellent condition. But it is an older style plug. THE CHROME IS IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION! It is so shiny and reflective that I could not figure out how to photograph it without reflections of me! For this I apologize! Approx. 32 1/2" x 35" Very good gently used condition; vintage/maybe. silk blend/most likely(since there are no tags it is hard to say) material is soft and flows nicely; colors are vibrant; only flaw is a small blue smudge on one of the umbrellas(most likely occurred during printing; see pic#6) Perfect for the collector.
