We found these in a three seasons porch at a lake shore ... moreestate. Although not in poor condition, we felt the needed some love and restoration. We have re-finished the black bases and white wire seat shells with two coats of primer and three coats of high quality enamel based paint. We think they look pretty nice! One of the wire chair shells has some small broken wires and some small cracks in the front screw mounting arbors, as pictured. They do not affect the function or sturdiness of the chair. The other three shells have no broken wires or cracks. None of the chairs show any evidence of repairs, but may have a few wires that are slightly bent. We placed nylon washers between the bases and seat shells. We are also including the original bikini pads which are in fair condition. The have waste cattle hair pads and what appears to be a faux reptile skin naugahyde coverings. We feel these could be salvaged and restored with the original padding and production tags intact, if you wish. The rubber boot glides are all original with the exception of one new replacement. A few glides have some small cracks and two have back tape holding them together. We will include 2 new extra replacement glides as well. Bases will be removed for shipping. This is one of my most treasured possessions. And I don't really want to sell it, but I no longer have anywhere to store or use it and it is not to my wife's taste, so go it must(at least, either the chair or the wife must go! It is a fantastic original American'Shell oil' chair dating. I would guess, from the 1920s or 1930s. It is exactly the kind of thing you'd have seen old guys sitting on outside gas stations in Miami in the 30s, chewing the fat while they waited for cars to come in and fill up. It has about the most incredible Art Deco look imaginable, and it has been absolutely beautifully restored by a craftsman who specialises in pedal cars. I bought it directly from him in the USA a few years back, and he is no longer trading(he was dying of cancer when I bought the chair, otherwise I don't think he'd ... morehave been selling it at all! The chair is a rocker. But not in the usual way- the rocking effect is achieved by springiness in the metal tube that forms its frame, and it is very effective- it's very comfortable to sit and rock in, even though it has no padding. The costs of import to the UK were close to the price I am selling the chair for! If(and it's a big if! you were able to find another one for sale it would cost you several hundred dollars to have it packed and shipped here. The only one I was able to find when I looked for other ones for sale was this one. Which is similar but not identical(I think it is a bit newer) priced at $995. Here is a Very Cool Mid-Century Modern Art Pottery Paperweight believed to be made by Designer Fornasetti in Italy. It is a very unique and odd piece. But a highly desirable collectible. It is round in shape with a round flat base measuring about 3" across with a base diameter of just under 2 1/2" The background is gloss white with the Eyeball in black. The photo gives it a pinkish look, but it is actually white in color. The base is covered in blue felt, and someone wrote"01" on the felt with a black marker. It is the same eyeball used on Fornasetti Items. It has one small flake off the surface, but this is nicely hidden by the eyelashes so it is hardly noticeable. A great and unique Fornasetti item!

Offered is this vintage wall clock. Made of solid walnut, by Sunbeam. Clock is in impeccably nice cosmetic condition. Wood is beautiful and all brass markers are intact and bright. It has its original hands and retaining nut. This item displays beautifully. The clock appears to have had a replacement quartz motor installed. Which is ticking but not keeping time. It will need an replacement motor to be fully usable as a timepiece. These motors are now available inexpensively in hobby shops and online. Walnut board measures a large 29" tall x 12" wide. Made in USA. 24 tapered, cantilevered hardwood spike spokes. It measures a huge 22 inches from tip-to-tip, 8 inches across the face. Very nice vintage condition. All of the hardwood is in better-than-new condition with a hand-rubbed Espresso Danish Oil finish to show off the grain. All of the brass is straight, shiny and bright with just a touch of patina. No rust or battery corrosion. Very nice vintage spun-brass face with factory-black graphics and imprinted Seth Thomas logo. Perfect vintage-style red hands and a black second hand. Interesting that the spokes actually project slightly from the wall. Very ... morenice. The clock works perfectly and keeps perfect time. Vintage Mid Century Modern Eames Era Adrian Pearsall Sofa Couch FULLY RESTORED
This auction is for a beautiful Danish Modern Adrian Pearsall Mid Century Modern Eames Era couch I have had FULLY RESTORED– designer fabric. New heavy industrial foam and body padding, new webbing, new decking, new foam cushions, two new pillar foam end pillar bolt cushion pillows, new chrome cushion clips and I had the strings re-tightened. It is a breathtaking piece of furniture. The original under frame is still in place. I purchased it several months ago, had it fully restored, received it last month and now found out I am being transferred. The furnishings I am taking with me have to be limited and this is one of the pieces I have to sadly let go. It is gorgeous. There are no labels on it. It is IMMACULATE and has been freshly reupholstered with the most gorgeous celery green woven fabric with a designer‘circle and dot’ accent fabric ... morethat is second to none spectacular. I call it my“ Marlo Thomas/That Girl” look! Words cannot describe the colors of the accent fabric. The velvety‘circles’ are a jeweled turquoise color with a matching green celery“dot” inside(that matches the overall celery green woven fabric to a“T” the woven background inside the circle is a bit darker beige color than the lighter beige woven background. This fabric is carried over into the two pillar bolt cushions. The company that restored this couch is renowned in the area and did an EXPERT job. I am EXTREMELY picky and they truly surpassed even my expectations! It is a truly daring design. I wanted something‘light’ yet‘bold’ and I feel my goal was accomplished. Both fabrics are new and are currently available should you want to match other pieces of furniture in your home. GPO BT Black 746 Rare Case Dial Telephone 1960s Phone Vintage Eames Era Panton
This is a beautiful. Fully working and converted 1969's BT/ GPO 746 telephone in the very popular, desirable and contemporary glossy cream colour. On the base it is marked, TELE 8746 G B.T. Q.C. Batch Sampled FWG 84/1 for when it was batch sampled in 1984 by BT. The original date is clearly labeled 69/1 for 1969 so it is now 45 years old and a very early example. What makes this telephone so special is the rare case design, it is the mk1'original design' of the 746 telephone that has a sloped handset rest compared to the more common re-design, please see picture 8. Originally there were complaints of the handset sliding off and leaving the phone off the hook, so to have one of these early versions is quite rare and not too many are seen for for sale on ebay. I have removed the case. The mouth piece, the ear piece, dial outer ring ... moreand blanking button on top and cleaned and polished them thoroughly inside and out, including careful removal and cleaning of the dial and the number plate, the casing and handset have come up good, with marks and scratches for the age, some deeper ones here and there, a small piece of plastic missing from the threads where the earpice screws on, however it doesn't effect the function and is not visible when the earcap is screwed on) please see the pictures. Due to its rarity, this example overall would grace any telephone collection nicely or just for everyday use as these telephones will outlast any modern replica. There are no cracks or splits and the black plastic has no discolouration. The original clear plastic centre disc is in place and retains one of my very good quality paper discs for, Park Lane 2984' The dial is smooth and the curly black handset cable has been thoroughly cleaned, has no twists, and is tight(there is a small area of wear which is hardly noticable) please see the picture. You are bidding on a complete set of vintage mid-century Eames designed slotted cards published by Ravensburg in Germany. This House of Cards box consists 54 cards. The size of regular playing cards. These cards are new and unused and look great, having been in storage for decades. The box shows some slight wear/chipping at the corners, and some surface wear consistent with shelf wear, but it is whole& sound and looks like it could have come from a store yesterday, but in the 60s. The insert describes how to build various things with the cards. See photos for details. ABOUT THE CARDS: There were a few different versions of Eames’ House of Cards. This 1952 version. Referred to as the"picture deck" consists of images gathered from many sources: familiar and nostalgic objects from the animal, mineral and vegetable kingdoms, including ... moretoys, common household items, coins, marbles, jewelry, and lace. On the reverse of the picture cards are antique gold colored asterisks on a white ground. Up for auction is a lovely cotton barkcloth fabric panel with a ruffled companion piece. They have a nice nubby texture and features an Eames era geometric and botanical pattern in vibrant colors of pink with 2 shades of green. Dark and a lime green. The long panel measures 68" long x 33" wide with a 3" hem with sewn-in pleats at the top. There is a 2" hem on the bottom of the panel and each side has a 1/2" hem. The ruffled piece is 48" wide x 6" long, great for jazzing up a throw pillow. Nice collectible set with no rips or stains. Thanks for looking!
