Vintage Crock with 3 Piece Aluminum Lid
You are bidding on a Vintage Crock with 3 Piece Aluminum Lid. I think this is about a 2 gallon crock with a 3 piece aluminum lid. I’m not sure of its original use but it is a nice piece. I can’t see any cracks in it and there are some very minor chips from use. The retainer or the male threaded part of the aluminum lid is still affixed to the crock but it spins which may be the way it’s supposed to be. This auction is for a smaller oval shaped crock. Not an expert on these. I am guessing that this may have been used as a planter. Measures right at 4.75" tall and measures right at 6.75" wide and 6.25" across. The inside has a roughness to around the sides. The bottom is smooth. Outside is mostly smooth to touch, outside bottom is rougher. White with a creamy tinge to it. Very pretty. Could be added to a collection or used for a plant. No chips or cracks on it. Antique late 19th century stoneware crock with it's lid and matching jar. So many of these in all sizes lose their covers over time usually due to breakage. These are dark brown and has some markings in the glaze near the base sides. The matching jar has some small chips along the rim of. The crock doesn't has any cracks or chips. The crock stands 6.5" and is 5" in diameter. The matching jar is 5.5" in height and 4.5 in diameter.

Antique ceramic lid for old crock dark brown glaze - 7" diameter and 3/8" thick
Very dark brown glazed ceramic lid for antique crock. This measures 7" in diameter and is 3/8" thick. It is not flat on top- there is an ever so slight slope from edge inward about 1 1/2" and then it slopes. Or bowls in the other way up to the knob. Since so many people seem to have crocks where lids were lost or broken. I am hoping someone will be able to use this. It is thick and fairly heavy.

A rare. Tapered Crock or Cream Pot from Upstate New York, ca.1870. This 4Qt. tapered form is quite scarce; it features White's signature"Pine Tree" decoration in bold, slip-trailed Cobalt. The overall condition is excellent. There is a small chip on the right handle, a ding on the base, and tight hairline near the rim in back. The interior Albany Slip is perfect; the exterior Salt Glaze shiny and consistent. Please see photos for complete details and further description. This hard to find example from Utica will display prominently in any Antique Stoneware collection. Measures 9-1/4"W x 7"H overall. The base and inner rim diameters are 6-1/4" and 7-3/4" respectively. Beautiful gray-ish stoneware pottery crock with cobalt blue design and"Onnen Farm Ext. 1923" on the front. I think the decorative design is either a fern leaf or a feather. You can decide. Crock is 6 1/2 inches high and 6" diameter, the sides are straight. No lid. The brown flecks in the gray clay really give it a quaint look, inside and out. There is a maker's mark on the left side, tried to capture it on photo but it will be hard to see, as near as I can tell it is raised letter S on its side with a line through the middle. There is a signature etched on the bottom but I can't make it out, but the date is 91. No chips. Stains, cracks, etc. Perfect for your primitive or country collection. Antique Vintage Weir Stoneware Brown Canning Crock with Wire closure
This is a Weir Canning Crock with a Patent March 1st 1892 as identified on the lid. It still has the original working wire closure but it is rusty. There are no noted chips or cracks. The inside is clean. With the vintage age there is some crazing on the cream colored area of the crock. I personally took this piece out of my grand mothers old farm house kitchen basement crawl space. It was sitting beside several old crocks and several large bolders(rocks) which were supporting the old house so I know they have been there for years. The house has been in the family for 100 years. Hi. This is a cute. Little, stoneware jug from McCormick Distilling Co. out of Weston. Missouri. Aged in the hills of Platte Valley. Numbered on bottom: 135-67/11-D-16. No cracks or chips. The cap and bottom edge of the bottle/jug has what looks like red melted wax. I believe that is what the top was originally sealed with. Would look great in your cabin in the hills! This is a rather old stoneware pitcher with no bottom makers marks. Sorry. I do not know who the maker was. It is 6.5" tall with a 4" base and it is 5" wide at the spout to handle. It weighs 1 1/4 pounds. It has no chips. Or cracks and is clean inside and out. It does have to small holes in the top which have bee patched closed. It has raised floral and leaf patterns on all sides. Neat old collectible piece which we have displayed in our smoke free home for many years. Please look closely at the pictures. An excellent 19th C. large 3 gallon cobalt floral decorated stoneware crock or jar attributed to the Remmey family of potters. C. 1840-1860. This piece has a large cobalt floral design on both sides, the handles are highlighted in cobalt, as well as an unusual design underneath the handles. The cobalt decoration is very thick& vibrant, with a drooping flower design on either side. This is in very nice condition with some tiny chips on the inside rim, the largest is 1" the other few are 1/4" or smaller. There is a very tight hairline extending down the side 7" the piece is very solid& still rings true. The form on this early Remmey crock or jar is excellent, probably made in Philadelphia in the mid 19th c. There are no other chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. An early 19th C. two gallon cobalt decorated stoneware crock or jar. Possibly New York City or New Jersey in origin, C. 1810-1820. This is an excellent example in wonderful condition, the large cobalt decorated handles are almost as high up as the rim. The front is decorated with the number"2" in cobalt, just below the rim. This early stoneware piece is in excellent condition, with a few tiny chips on the inside rim& one tiny(1/4" chip on the back outside rim. There are no other chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. This piece measures 11 3/4" tall, the top is 5 3/8" in diameter& the bottom is 5 1/2" in diameter.
