I have noted in my description of condition above that one of the rush bottom seats on this set is broken through, and simply replaced at present with a wood board underneath the seat cushion. This clarinet plays well in tune and will come to you ready to play. The clarinet was pinned at some point because of a crack in the upper joint area. Whoever did it. Did a good job because I've personally owned the clarinet for over 14 years with no change in the wood. The wood is really beautiful with very nice grains. The pads are in ok condition. They could be changed if you want to change them. But it will play fine without changing them. It has a really rich tone. The one piece body is probably the reason why. This is a French made Buffet E-13 Clarinet. It has been maintained in very good condition and has been sitting safely in it's case for years. I used bore oil on it every year to help maintain moisture in the wood. The corks for the instruments were recently replaced by Sam Ash Music. It has the original Buffet mouth piece and a Vandoren B40 mouth piece. It plays well and air does not leak out of the pads. We are pleased to offer a fabulous and rare buffet tray intended to hold a service for 8 of 1847 Rogers Bros silverplated flatware. The flatware tray is fitted to hold a full service for 8 and is covered in dark blue velvet. It bears a label from 1847 Rogers Bros on the front and a label on the back which says: Patented August 3 1926. The flatware panel lifts out to reveal a glass topped serving tray. Lined in burgundy shot through with gold. The tray is framed with mosaic like pieces in shades of green, red, gold and dark blue that are adorned with heraldic themes and symbols such as crowns, stars, crescent moons and wolves among others. Another of the same label appears on the bottom of the tray with an additional label that says: Pieces of 8. Rogers did an advertising campaign with pirates at about this time. This is an authentic crafted piece of European country furniture that has been in our family over 25 years. It was shipped by a dealer from Belgium. And purchased in California. It is identified with a label: Ameublement P. Taurisson[ Brive] 6300.00 612, which looks old and stained but I am not certain it would be classified as an antique. The measurements are 66" on the two side panels in height and 76" on the center mirrored panel. The width is 63" I have a matching piece that I will post separately. The unique thing about this piece is it totally disassembles in panels and can fit in a car. This is typical of European furniture that can be carried to higher levels in a building. We are pleased to offer this exquisite. Early 20th century, buffet/sideboard or grand entry table. This lovely piece features Mahogany veneer with exotic, eye catching, grain pattern. It is in the Chippendale style with French influence. The buffet has a beautiful, double, curved front leg design on each side with carved ball and talon feet. There is a raised, acanthus leaf detail with a light cream, painted finish(original) The back legs are straight. The top of the server features the beautifully grained mahogany and is surrounded with a deeply carved, rope border that is burnished in the crevices for greater interest. The server is quite functional and there is ample storage. There is a single, long top drawer that runs the width of the server. A deeper and narrower drawer is located in the center of the buffet, just under the upper drawer. ... moreThis drawer is divided into 3 compartments. This drawer is flanked with deep storage compartments housed behind doors. All of the drawers are dovetail construction and the interior of the drawers, as well as the door compartments, are finished with mahogany veneer. The hardware(pulls and knobs) are brass. This elegant buffet was manufactured by John C. Raab. This company was in business from 1903 to 1920 and operated out of Grand Rapids. Michigan. The company was known as a"fine" furniture maker and made upper end pieces. The company was purchased in 1920 and later became Luce Furniture. The original manufacturer's sticker is present. The buffet is in extremely nice condition for its age with only minor evidence of age or use. There are very minor scuffs and some very light scratches. But nothing severe or distracting. The painted acanthus details have surface cracks which are very normal for this type of finish in pieces of this age. Antique Japanese Tansu Chest Brass Mounts Pulls Asian Wood Buffet Table Box Lock This is a beautiful patina. Antique? Japanese Tansu Asian chest cabinet with magnificent brass mounts throughout. I don't think a very dense wood is used in making it because it doesn't seem that heavy for its size. It measures 39.5 inches(100.33 cm) long by 19 inches(48.26 cm) tall by 13 inches(33 cm) deep. The fish lock for the cabinet is included but I don't know if I'll be able to find a key for it on shipment. Otherwise unraveled paper clips work fine for a key. All the door and drawer pulls have a nice diamond brass inset in the center as shown in picture# 8, but on all my pictures all the other pulls were flipped in reverse so this nice diamond inset couldn't be seen. Up for your consideration is a very nice vintage Evette& Schaeffer Modele Buffet Crampon Wood Alto Clarinet made in France in 1968 according to all the information I have found on the internet. Serial No. 19948. All serial numbers match. From what I can see all appears to be in good condition, however, I am not a expert. All pads are intact but could need replacing at some point, cork is good. There are no visible cracks in the wood. The bell has minor scuffs, dimples and some corrosion on the inside. Keys move freely and easily. Comes with a worn but useable case, the original Evette& Schaeffer mouthpiece, new cleaning cloth, mouthpiece brush& cork grease. Heywood Wakefield Buffet- M592- NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a very nice piece of vintage Heywood Wakefield furniture. This is item: M 592- Buffet- produced between 1954 and 1955. As you can see from the pictures this piece is in very good condition- recently refinished to the original CHAMPAGNE finish. Looks great in person. Measures 48” by 18” by 32.5” high.
