This auction for your consideration is an original Globe Wernicke bookcase. This piece was made in Cincinnati. Ohio around the turn of century. It measures 62 inches tall and 34 1/2 inches across. It has rolled feet and mission pulls. I think top is made of Mahogany, inside pine and outside Walnut. In very nice condition for age. 2 small pieces of wood scroll missing above both legs not a hard fix at all,I am just not qualified to repair. I not tried to clean much except for windows and wiping off dust. Sizes of sections are photographed from top of case to bottom. This is a pickup auction only. This is a lovely antique Mission-style rotating bookshelf in dark oak. This is a very nice quartered quarter sawn oak china cabinet or bookcase. A smaller size with a single door. Pierce has a curved glass front door and original glass on both sides. Three adjustable shelves. Note the pretty scrolled and carved top gallery. We have refinished this piece and it has a smooth and even finish. Useful functional piece not as large and cumbersome as many of the models of the time. Circa 1900 I would think. Overall dimensions are 29 wide. 17 deep, and 68 high.
