The top opening is 3 1/4" The Vase displays a tapered shoulder shape w mock handles that look like ears. It has a very pleasing matte mottle Blue background glaze. Vintage Weller Frosted Matte Bowl Description and Item Information Up for sale is this vintage Weller Frosted Matte art pottery bowl. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This bowl has Weller's matte blue Frosted Matte glaze. The glaze has separation and variegation. The main color is blue. But there are areas of greenish and yellowish. The bowl is approximately 7 inches in diameter and 2 7/8 inches tall. Unpacked, it weighs just under 1 3/4 pounds. Excess glaze was ground from the feet when this was made; there are tripod stilt marks beneath. This piece would be a fine addition to an Ohio art pottery collection. Identification This unmarked piece is vintage Weller pottery. From the Frosted Matte line. Condition The bowl looks wonderful overall. With no clay chips, cracks, or repairs; to the rim is a tiny(1/32 inch) glaze contact pit ... morethat does not detract(you can see that it is a contact mark using a jeweler's loupe) There is mild, very fine crazing. Inside surface is glazed in a gloss deep forest green. Yellow glaze on exterior has plenty of"Glaze pops" as seen in the photos. Exterior green glaze shows crazing. Exterior blue glaze markings look excellent. The rest of exterior surface is heavily textured for it's rustic Arts and Crafts Movement look and is covered in what looks like a very thin flat glaze. Fourteen of them have a hard to find Arts& Crafts"hammered" surface. The other six have a roped surface. All 20 are in very good condition with no cracks or damage to the iron. All have a brownish black color. Three of the roped design rings have traces of gold paint. 17 of these are the same size. The three with the traces of gold paint are very slightly smaller. About 2.25 inches in height, and about 3.75 inches in diameter(minus handle) There are no cracks or crazing present. The cups do have a couple of gaps between the burnt orange and green border in the design, and a single indent in a rim. Antique ARTS & CRAFTS Shop of The Crafters INLAID Bookcase MISSION Oak Stickley
Great piece of Arts and Crafts furniture by Shop of the Crafters. Has a large middle door and 2 small side doors. Signed with partial early paper label on back shown in picture 11. It is large measuring 88" tall. 43" wide and 17" at its largest depth. It does come with a key. Issues: 1. At one pont this bookcase had been painted white. It has been refinished but you can see in photos there is still some small white paint residue inside it and in the inlaid parts, please refer to photos. 2. The very top of the bookcase has warped a little and cracked some shown in pictures 7& 8. 3. The very bottom right of the large door has a crack in the wood shown in picture 9. 4. The 2 bale pulls for the small side doors are missing but the large middle door has its bale pull. 5. The top right square is missing its small glass piece ... morebut I'm having one cut for it so will have a glass piece their when picked up. 6. It comes with one original shelf but the rest are not original to the bookcase. They were cut to fit this bookcase though shown in the last picture. Has other normal wear from age as well. Even with the issues you can see it still displays beautifully and is a great piece of furniture. Please refer to all photos for the condition of this bookcase. FLEUR DE LYS FRENCH ARTS & CRAFTS GOTHIC ELLISON TILE
This is a tile from Ellison tile studios. The dimensions are approximately 3 3/4"x 3 3/4" The design is inspired by historic European architectural details. The hand painted wash allows the texture of the clay to show through to further enhance the aged appearance. This tile has excellent detail! It also has a notch on the back for hanging. Vintage Arts & Crafts Movement Mission Copper Wall Lantern Sconce Woodwin Socket
This is a very nice arts& crafts movement wall lantern. I could not find any maker marks. However, the socket is marked"Woodwin" The sconce was purchased at an estate that had a very extensive collection of arts& craft movement items. Please see photos for details. It has not been tested. The lantern measures 11 1/4" tall x 4 1/4" wide(measured at the widest parts on the rim) The cylinder measures 3 5/8" across. The diameter of the back piece is 4 1/2" inkFrog Analytics.
