It still has all the old hard solid core cloth wiring so I'm assuming it will need to be rewired or checked to make sure it is safe to hard wire in! Also the ceiling cap has a couple of splits in the brass. Mainly known as a ceramic designer and as the artistic leader of the Gustavsberg porcelain factory. Kåge studied decorative painting at Tekniska skolan in Stockholm and later for the painter Carl W. Wilhelmson in Gothenburg. Johan Rodhe in Copenhagen and at Plakatschule in Munich, where he learnt graphic techniques. His early career was dedicated to advertising and the production of posters. But his best known work was in ceramics, begun when he was appointed artistic leader of Gustavsberg in 1917, remaining there until 1949, when he was succeeded by Stig Lindberg. Up for bids is this Antique Early 20thC Arts& Crafts Fulper Art Pottery Bowl w/ Unusual Footed Base. This Fulper bowl was most likely made in the 1910s. This bowl has a thick four tone drip glaze and sits on a 4 footed base that resembles an Arts& Crafts period coat racks base. This bowl is unsigned but I guarantee it to be Fulper. This bowl is in great condition with only a few old scratches to the interior and a few small flea bites to the glase on the base. Both flaws are very hard to even notice. The bowl has a diameter of 8 3/4" and stands 4 3/8" tall. This unusual piece of early 20thC Fulper pottery will make a great addition to your collection. Shipping is $16.50 to anywhere in the USA.

For Auction is a wonderful piece of Art Pottery made by The Fulper Pottery Company of Flemington. NJ. The item is an Arts& Crafts Buttressed Handled Vase and it is done in the most sought after Copper Dust Glaze. The Vase has some size to it as it stands 9 1/2" tall and is approximately 7 3/4" in diameter outside handles measurements. The Vase is done in one of Fulper Pottery's most beautiful and sought after glaze combinations called"Copper Dust" The Vase has a unique shape to it as it resembles a Volcano with Triangular Handles applied to each side. This piece is definitely all about the glaze! The Copper Dust Crystals are plentiful on the top side on one side with the other having a more brown glaze with these crystals peeking through. The base color of the Vase is a Flemington Green with a Brown Flambé ... morethat was applied at the mouth and has wonderful glaze drips running down each side. The Copper Dust is applied over that at the top. The top portion of the handles also show these wonderful crystals as well. The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks. Nicks, chips or dings. The only issues is a glaze burst on the bottom waist area by one of the handles and a few Pin Pops. There are also a few scratches along the bottom edge. The Glaze burst and a scratch is pictured. The Vase is marked on the underside bottom with Fulper's Raised"FULPER" inside a raised rectangle Signature mark. This would date this Vase to be made Circa 1916-1922. This form is one of the most desirable to own in Fulper Pottery. Vintage Arts& Crafts Fulper Pottery Double Handle Vase Compote Circa 1916-22. In excellent condition with no crazing. This measures 3 1/4" tall.6 3/4" wide and 11 3/4" long. This has a very nice green glaze. Long double handle on each side. This has Fulpers Incised mark dating this piece from 1916 to 1922. This mark is known for Fulpers better examples of their works. A very nice piece for your collection. There is a small divet on the rim edge above one of the handles that was part of the manufacturing process, as inside the divet it is green and glazed(see pictures) This will be packed well and shipped promptly. Fulper Pottery lamp. Model number L 643 with original factory finial and harp. Not sure if the wiring is original. Measures approx. 8 1/2" tall. Not including harp. Very nice. Arts Crafts Art Nouveau era bench. The bench is iron, painted green, with 2 large griffins or winged lions, finished in gold, on each handle. The bench has 4 legs which are fixed and do not move. They are criss-crossed in the middle and the intersection is punctuated with a tole rosette. The bench is in very good condition with a couple of dings. These can be easily touched up with matched green paint. The bench is extremely sturdy and there are no wobbles or no looseness in it. The bench is stamped"Verona 318 Pat. Applied For" and the bench dates prior to 1920. This is a gorgeous accent piece! Newcomb College Pottery Tile Attr Leona Nicholson New Orleans Arts & Crafts
A hand built tile of a woman in a garden holding a parasol. The tile measures 4.75" square and 1" thick. The sides are glazed. The back has deep incised lines. Unmarked. But enough of these have surfaced over the years to be quite sure it was made by Leona Nicholson at Newcomb College. It is housed in an old Arts and Crafts oak frame making the overall dimensions 10.5" square. The condition of the tile is very good with only a couple of minor rubs to the surface. Offered here is a very nice ARTS& CRAFTS STYLE BRASS ENTRY DOOR KNOB SET WITH OUTER PLATE. LOCKSET w/ DEADBOLT AND SKELETON KEY. This door knob lockset is marked on the inside"A& W CO. and it has the number 107 and 1538 stamped on the inside. The brass furnishings are very nice and heavy. The skeleton key turns the deadbolt latch in and out easily. This locket is different in that the door does not need to be mortised to receive the lockset. This style screws to the back or inside of the door. A side mounted plate(not included) received the door knob ketch and dead bolt. The brass was pitch black and has been cleaned. I am sure it could be polished up to a shiny bright brass finish should you choose to do so. The lockset looks like it fits doors that are 1 inch thick. The lockset measures 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide. The ... morediameter of the knobs is approximately 2 1/8 inches. This piece was recently purchased at a local estate sale. The flowers are beautifully padded and seem to‘pop’ on the melon pillow case. This is a nice size 25” x 15 ½” and is without holes or tears. The case has an opening on the bottom to fill it. There is a stain on the right side of pillow that is on the edge and has a faint stain on the other side. Sorry. I do not wash the linens unless they have an odor. The dimensions of the three regular chairs are 37 1/2" Tall at the back. 18 1/2" tall in front at the sitting point, The front is 18 1/2" wide and the rear is 15 1/2" wide, the chair is 17" deep. The arm chair is 39" Tall in the rear, 18" Tall to the seat, 26 1/2 Tall to the arms, the front is 23" wide, the rear is 18" wide, the arms are 21" wide at the rear and 26 1/2" wide at the front. The arm chair is 18" deep. These chairs are really solid and are in great condition with a few marks from regular use from over the years. LARGE ART POTTERY VASE VINTAGE 1970's This is a very nice vintage art pottery vase! It is unmarked. It was purchased in the 70's. It is a large size and can be used for the floor or or table. It has a felt bottom to avoid scratching surface it sits on. The color is is a grayish blue glossy glaze and has darker blue veining throughout which gives it an attractive look.Stands approx. 9" tall and is heavy weight. The inside has a stone feel to it. Antique Tapestry Wood Copper Repousse Hearth Shoe Box Arts Crafts Storage Chest This is a very lovely and unusual repousse antique shoe box. These boxes were meant to sit on the fireplace hearth to hold shoes. Keep them warm, and to dry dampness. The outer box is lined with tapestry fabric on 4 sides(front, sides and top) The box sits on 2 pieces of wood which acts as feet and raises the box 1" off the ground. This box would easily hold 4-6 pair of shoes. I am not sure of the age, but with style and age factors on the metal and wood, I would guess over 100 years easily. It has XXVX(34) stamped on it around the lid edge near the hinge end. It also has an ink stamp that I can't make out. Condition: There are a couple of cuts to the brass and some splits to the wood on the base and back of box. This is still a solid piece. It measures ... moreapprox 2 ft long X 16” wide on lid. It is 18.5" tall at back of the box and 14” tall at the front of the box. Shipping will be high due to size.
