Up for auction is this vintage/Retro brass amber glass table lamp. This lamp is about 26 inches tall and about 11 inches wide at widest point. I see no cracks or chips on the glass bowl. I believe that the center is brass. I believe it is a 3 way light and I plugged it in and the light on the top does work. I can't tell if the amber light works as it is a night light bulb and I do not have a light bulb that size to check. It is in really good shape. If the shipping is less then what I charged. Neat Pair of Art Deco SATURN Table Lamps. Made of some sort of metal i don't really know what kind. Maybe brass? The Have metal wire spoke design on the bottom base part and a neat planet saturn Design on top. Both come with matching Art Deco Retro Speckled shades which look to be original. The shades are an off white/ beige color made of a thick paper with white and black splatter design and black trim. Both have some patina and spotting from age and one has a tiny little dent in the bottom of the metal where the cord comes out in the back. Antique FORTUNE TELLER CHALKWARE MOTION LAMP Art Deco Woman Original Paint
Thanks for browsing Vintage Apt for that special something.you never know what the Gypsy Lady will bring! Rare Antique Chalkware Art Deco Fortune Teller Motion Lamp Amazing and rare antique motion lamp from the 1920s. The woman has on a deep red cloak and sits on a divan and gazes down. Perhaps trying to decipher the future? Wonderful Egyptian and Art Deco design in her appearance. There is a tall appliance in front of her from which she(apparently) seeks answers- this is where the spinner and incense cup are(see photos) There are three little openings that were originally covered with a decorated paper screen, but only one of the paper screens is still there. The way I understand that this sort of lamp works. You put a piece of incense into the cup and plug in the lamp. The light flickers against the fortune teller's face and the incense ... moresmoke is drawn up around her face, aiding the mystical atmosphere. The details on this are fabulous. And even in its' messed up condition the colors are crazy good. I believe this is the original paint. What I did do. For safety's sake, was to have the wiring fixed- and now the lamp is safe to use. The color wheel spins and the bulb works.voila! Second problem: there was a crack on one side of the lamp, probably about 3-4" long. The crack wasn't big enough to split the lamp in half or anything like that, but I didn't want the crack to spread. So I inserted a glue into the crack to hold it tightly. See last photo on right. Lastly, it's plain to see that the paint needs restoration. Most of the paint is actually present, but some accident has shaved off some of the paint(mostly on one side) and a bit of the plaster, giving it a spotty look. Vintage Deco Japanese Studio Art Pottery Flambe Drip Glaze Lamp Awaji Mark 1930
This listing is for a rare Awaji-ware lamp. This lamp was potted as a lamp- not a vase. It is fully marked with the Awaji Island flag mark. Kiln mark, export mark, and another mark- possibly the artist. I am dating it between 1921 and 1939, because the"Made in Japan" mark started in 1921, and both the Sanpei and Rikita kilns of Awaji closed in 1939. The lamp measures 18" tall overall. The exposed pottery portion measures 7 1/4" tall. And 8 1/2" greatest diameter. The pottery has intentional course ridges left from throwing along with undulating, incised decoration and amazing, frothy purple, red, green, and white drip glaze. The combined glaze and texture is quite robust, and reminiscent of ocean waves- possibly the island potter's inspiration. The lamp is complete with its(original? 13.75" cased green glass ... moreshade and and fittings. I think the shade is an Emeralite. It is definately period correct. And probably original to the lamp. I'm fairly certain that these cone-shades were originally produced to be hung from ceiling fixtures, but companies that produced lamps(especially one-of-a-kind studio pottery lamps) used whatever parts were appropriate and available. I love the studio-made, wire shade fitter(the original black paint can be seen on the underside) It looks like the lamp had a re-wire and extra coat of gold-tone paint in the 50's or 60's. It works well. Both the pottery and shade are excellent with no damage(If you're unfamiliar with antique shades. The top and bottom are"rough-cut" at the factory, and a uniformly rough edge with minimal chipping is the factory as-made norm) Overall a very rare. Antique Rembrandt Brass White Milk? Glass 32 inTorch Art Deco Table Lamp
Beautiful lamp from Rembrandt is approx. 32" tall with three large areas of what I believe to be white milk glass. When plugged in the top light works. It appears the rest of the lamp is just for gorgeousness. Although it does look like a faux oil lamp. The lamp will need to be tightened, as the separating pieces are just slightly loose. I don't see any areas of notable flaws. There are two of these! Really lovely.

Vtg MID CENTURY Bentwood Lucite 8` Tension Floor Lamp Art Deco Eames Danish Teak
This auction is for a beautiful mid-century floor lamp! The lamp stands approximately 8` 6" tall and has four different colored 8" diameter. 6" tall Lucite ribbon shades. The diameter of the full 4 globes mounted is 26" The pole mounted switch allows the lights to be switched between two lights, two opposing lights, or all four at once. There is no damage to any of the shades but the bentwood swirl accent does have damage and has been glued back together. I would put the glued section on the backside of where it`s being used. The tension pole can be shortened some to it lower ceilings. The white sections are yellowed and do need to be refinished as well as the lighted section which is gold pitted metal. I have already boxed it all up, putting each shade in a separate box. It is taken apart, but easily fits back together. ... moreI had back surgery recently and done it myself. This is a clear glass globe with roses painted on the front and back. It measures about inches across at the widest part and is almost 8" inches tall. It is clear glass with a flat bottom rim/fitter measuring about 3"3/4 inches. There are seams on either side to side white roses. I do not see any chips or cracks all in great conditions. ART DECO Era Brass AIRPLANE Lamp Base
This vintage or antique brass lamp base is in the shape of an Art Deco airplane. It measures 10 1/4" long with a wing span of 9 7/8" On the top there is a 5/16" hole where the lamp stand once screwed into. There are 3 pads on the base to support the plane. It is heavy and made solid! There is wear and it could use a good cleaning but there are not any significant issues. It is a neat early piece to repurpose or fashion into another lamp. Deco Mania continues as I thin out the herd of Deco items. Please check my other Deco items listed this week. For bid is a great old Art Deco diffuser style ceiling light fixture. Bottom diffuser section measures 18 ½” in diameter by 3 ½” tall. The stem and ceiling canopy section measures 25” long. Distinctive chrome band surrounds the base with alternating bands of polished or brushed chrome. Brass vertical posts accent the chrome and add support. Thin painted metal circular slats provide the diffuser element to this fixture. Stem connects in 3 spots to hold the bottom diffuser shade. Appears complete with the exception of an outer nut to hold up ceiling canopy. The old wiring is still intact but I would suggest re-wiring for safe future use. Comes with pull chord. And features two nude women facing outward, and leaning back on bended knees, with a fabulous skyscraper type amber crackle shade between them. The lamp measures 12-1/4 inches long, 4-1/4 inches wide, and is approximately 7-1/2 inches tall to the peak of the shade. There are some small minor nicks in the bronze patina finish. There is a faint hairline in the base(pictured) The shade is in excellent condition. The lamp is wired with old wiring and still has its original silk cord. VTG (1920s or 1930s) Art Deco Lamp. Cast Iron w/ Bronze Paint
This is a true-vintage 1920s/1930s Art Deco table lamp. I'm no metallurgist. But I believe that this is cast iron painted with a brass-based paint. You can see the beautiful oxidation. It lights when plugged in(you'll likely rewire it and add a switch) and there's a clip on the back of the fan to put a colored glass shade. The lamp is approximately 7.5" from its base to the top of the empty socket; it's about 5" wide at its base. I don't think that I need describe the lamp. I've uploaded eleven pictures. It's not in mint condition-there's a crack on its back. And it might be missing its foot, though it's hard to tell. It's original and very cool, though clearly not fresh out of the box. Shipping is FREE in the continent of North America. Though it's NOT free anywhere else.

Offered here is a monumental Art Deco reverse painted frosted glass light or lamp shade. This is a very. Very large piece of glass. The diameter of the lower edge is 16" The diameter of the outside fitter is 10" and the opening diameter is 8 1/2" The drop from the top of the fitter to the lower edge is 10 1/4" The condition of the reverse painting is excellent. The condition of the frosted glass shade is perfect, except for 2 very, very small(1/4" and less) chips on the inside fitter rim. Please see photos. There are no chips on the lower ground glass rim edge. There are no breaks or scratches on the shade. The shade is dusty from storage. I will leave the cleaning of this huge shade to the next owner. V intage(1930s-1940s) electric table lamp. It measures approximately 1 0. 2 5" from top to bottom not including the bulb. The amber bulb is included and adds 3.5" to the height. The butterscotch catalin base section is about 3" X 2.25" square at the very bottom and is 4.75" tall. The lamp is in very good. Clean condition with no damage or signs of excessive use aside from some oxydation to the metal tube above the catalin base. I think it will polish out. The catalin parts look great. The electric components(bulb socket. Switch, and cord) are original and are currently fully functional. But you may want to check them for safety since they are so old. Thanks for looking!

The Shade has one very small nick on the Fitter where the screws attach. It is nothing bad and may not be seen when the Shade is mounted. The Base I believe is Bronze as it is heavy and does not magnify. Of Course the Tubing is brass. There is not damage to the Base or tubing at all. It is in Perfect condition and the wiring is great. Jefferson Art Deco Reverse Painted Lamp
Being offered for sale is this RARE and completely original signed'JEFFERSON' Ca.1920's Art Deco Reverse Painted table lamp. Of all the beautiful reverse painted lamps by Handel and Pairpoint, the ART DECO designs are by far the strongest and most desirable of all the reverse painted lamps. And this is the RAREST of the type made by the Jefferson Lamp Co. of Chicago Ill. The shade is decorated with a multi colored. Almost'Cubist' geometric design in colors of Blue, Red, Yellow, Green and Black, with an overlaid'mottled' effect that is difficult to describe, but is clearly visible in both the lit and unlit photos of the lamp. It is a 16 inch Hexagon shaped. Or six sided shade, with a closed top, and fitter ring signed JEFFERSON. Sitting properly on the original'Gold-tone' matching metal base which stands ... moreapprox. 23 inches tall to the very top of the heat cap finial. This lamp will make an excellent addition to any Art Deco. Or Modernist inspired decor, as well as maintaining it's value. Rare Antique Art Deco Lamp Woman holding Splatter Glass Cubist Globe Tall Lovely
Up for auction is this truly exceptional Art Deco lamp. I list this as rare because of the large size and the fact that the woman is made of chalkware/plaster. This was a popular material in the 1930's. But rather fragile and objects tended not to survive. The woman has a little wear and some small nicks on the base, but is in overall very good condition. She could use some delicate cleaning around the face and toes. I just didn't want to risk breaking, so leave this to the winning bidder. The splatter/end of day glass globe is superlative! In a cubist form, it really casts a beautiful glow. Because of the outstanding quality of the glass, I would believe it was made in Czechoslovakia, but it is not marked so I am not sure. The globe has chips on the bottom of the neck. Some nice size ones, but they do not show at all when placed ... morein the cup. Measures a larger 26" h x 10" d x 6" w. Shipping chalkware/plaster is one of the hardest things to do because of its fragile nature.even harder than glass! Because this must be very well packed and it is of a large size and must be shipped priority mail with insurance, shipping is $45 across US connecting states.
